We had a great experience with Gail and It's Raining Dogs Dog Rescue. After filling out numerous applications with other rescues and getting no responses, we heard back from Gail within 24 hours of submitting our application. She did a background check with our vet, and by the end of the week we brought our sweet little rescue home. He received a clean bill of health from our vet, so I feel like he was well taken care of prior to us adopting him.Gail was very responsive and wonderful to work with. I definitely recommend this dog rescue, and am so thankful for opportunity to get our puppy Wags from them.

We rescued our 9 wk shihpoo puppy from Gail a few weeks ago and the experience has been wonderful! Going into this, I knew she was probably inundated with tons of applications and couldn’t respond to every single one. So I knew that if we never got a response back, then we obviously didn’t get picked to move forward. It’s not personal, no hard feelings. However, we got a response and a few days later, we had a meet and greet. Of course we all fell in love and now have had Molly for a few weeks. Molly was part of a litter and she came to us so well mannered, happy and healthy, which says a lot about the rescue. I also felt like Gail did such a fantastic job matching us with a similar temperament puppy for our lifestyle. I still text her with updates and it’s clear how much she truly cares about all her rescues/dogs in need. We are forever grateful to Raining Dogs Rescue for our new furry member.

The communication is horrible and available pets aren’t maintained. I found a pet, e-mailed,text ,and completed an application. I received a message back that my vet would be contacted. Reached out to my vet days later to find out that no one had reached out. I looked further and realized there are pets still on her website that were adopted out. Joan’s pup is still on the website and she posted she adopted 9 months ago. Getting a pup from here is like winning the power ball in the lottery. Best of luck to anyone trying to adopt from them

We used Its Raining Dogs to get our newest dog. I was very pleased with Gail’s response to my application and my questions. This was on a Tuesday, I think, and on Saturday I picked up our Wednesday, a chug. Wednesday is everything Gail told me she is, and we are thoroughly enjoying her!! I would recommend It’s Raining Dogs to anyone.

Filled application, waited for 2 days before my husband called and left a very polite message but no replies to either. Checked Petfinder zand the dog we inquired was unlisted. So glad she got a home, but I find it very off putting to not have been told at least. Will likely avoid this place in the future, glad to see that apparently they do good work regardless, but our experience was poor. Was disappointed to one not match with the inquiry, doubly frustrated to not be informed.

Running a rescue anytime is hard work but doubly so during this pandemic! Although it was a bit difficult at times to reach It’s Raining Dogs, I admire Gail and her genuine care and interest in each of her charges. My granddaughter in Dallas picked up our delightful, four-month old Bumble from Gail on Wed. Then he was delivered to me in Tulsa - happy, healthy, bouncing, baby-boy shihtzu-peke! It was a good experience and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much, Gail!

This is the greatest organization, run by a dog-loving woman who cares about pooches so much she devotes her life to it. I adopted a great dog from her and it was easy and we continue to stay in touch.

I sent in the application and was getting pretty good constant communication back, but after I sent the application, its been near a month and absolutely no word back. The dog I think is still listed and we were told that there were a lot of applications for him but I dosnt make sense to not check back with someone after a month.

Our experience with this shelter was nothing but positive. I had a response within 30 minutes of my application and everything was handled very professionally. It’s obvious they truly care about their cause. We adopted the most precious puppy and couldn’t be happier.

This rescue is alive and well. The owner has saved hundreds of lives and does her best to acccomodate everyone. Occasionally someone gets hurt feelings over a phone call not being returned but these things happen.

To All Who Shall Read This; Greetings, today is 3.10.2020 and this rescue doesn't seem to actually exist. I have sent emails and called with no answer but left a voicemail and no one has responded to any of my contact avenues. Be advised I think they are fake.
