Jasmine came to us from a chaotic situation as a 5 month old puppy. Her original owner, who loved her very much, did not know how much training she would need and then he died suddenly and Jasmine was left outside for 3 days and nights before he was discovered.We brought Jasmine home for a month and I wasn’t sure we’d be able to keep her..she was a wreck and just completely out of control.Hilton’s family was known to me through our school and so we enrolled her in basic training.Long story short, after 3 weeks with Hilton she has improved in her behavior exponentially! She now listens, obeys, gives cuddles without biting, walks well on a leash, and seems to have much less anxiety!We are so pleased!!! Hilton laid a great foundation for us to build on!When we dropped Jasmine off he gave us all of the details of how training would go and when we picked her up he gave us all of the tools and details we would need to be successful moving forward.I highly recommend Hilton Butler for any of your dog training needs! Worth every penny!

When I was searching for someone to train our puppy, we had lots of recommendations for Hilton Butler. However, sending our puppy anywhere for three weeks was quite of a concern. I reached out to several people who had posted and actually got to speak to someone who did and she gave me a wonderful review. I also spoke to my manager at this long suites that I work at and she is also good friends with Hilton Butler’s family. I address my concerns to her and she, without any hesitation mentioned that she would trust her kids with him, so I trusted him with our puppy Hunter. We had an amazing experience with them when we went to see them drop him off and pick him up. He was very happy both ways and we have sense in taking him for a second training with Henson and Hunter. Has Starley enjoyed that time as well and he’s come back with so much training and so much knowledge that it’s just shocking that a dog could actually learn so much in three weeks. We will be sending him again when it’s time for his next training and highly highly highly recommend Hilton Butler for training.

We could not be any happier with the training that our Goldendoodle received from Hilton Butler! She came back home a much calmer doodle! It is such a pleasure to work with both Hilton and his wife, Christine! Hilton has certainly trained us as well! Maddie was always just hard to walk on a leash as she was full of energy and could not stay focused! Well, we go on several walked a day now. Good for Maddie and good for my husband and myself! You will not be disappointed with the results you get from Hilton’s training! We now consider them family!

I first meet Hilton and Christine when our 3rd class donated money to help purchase a cart to use when a dog Hilton was training for another young lady. I was so impressed by this generosity that I knew who I wanted to train our Goldendoodle, Ziggy. He was out of control, but Hilton worked with him until Ziggy got it. They took him in and trained him like their own, even bringing him into their home when necessary. Ziggy's training was so good that he was able to become a therapy dog attending middle school with me and visiting seniors in their homes. Unfortunately, we recently lost Ziggy and decided to get another 'doodle', Huxley. We immediately knew who we wanted to train him. Hilton and Christine Butler are the best!

I was losing my mind with my sweet Sydney - 6 month old golden retriever - so I found Hilton online and was impressed with his military background and dog training. When I dropped Sydney off for the 3 week training she was this wild, crazy puppy who was driving me insane! When I picked her up she was a different dog! She listens and obeys every command and now is so well behaved with perfect manners! Hilton has a gift and is a rock star! He sat down with me and told me in detail exactly how to continue working with her. I highly recommend him to everyone. He does not disappoint! We were at the end of our rope with Pia, our little cute-as-a-button Maltese. She was cantankerous, moody, and unwilling to listen to us or behave. We were embarrassed when we had company or when service personnel would come to the house. We tried several area training programs, all with no success. We asked a neighbor, whose dog was always so well-behaved, how she got her dog to be so compliant. She gushed about Hilton and Christine and about the miracles they perform with unruly fur babies. After rolling my eyes and nodding, thinking that nobody works miracles with dogs, I decided to try them. The results are unbelievable! Pia's transformation is incredible. Her personality has changed, for the better. She is still a loving and lovable doggie, but now she is exceedingly well-behaved. Guess who's gushing about Hilton and Christine now!

Our 2 year old German Shepherd came back to us after the Advanced Off Leash Training Program and she is so much more obedient and is very close to being 100% rid of all her previous behavioral issues. Thanks to Hilton and his staff, we are also able to understand what we need to do to help our dog become confident in different situations. We would highly recommend them to anyone with dogs that need training in any aspect. They were very helpful, accommodating and great listeners. We can't stress enough, how instrumental they were in our dogs life, basically giving her the freedom to be out in public with us more and just enjoy the life she has.

What an incredible experience!! We didn’t quite know what to expect, but we were so hopeful someone could help us train our 8 month old dog! We were at our wits end! We were BLOWN away!! Hilton asked us what our biggest worries/issues were and our puppy came back a new dog!! Our friends come over and can’t even believe it’s the same dog! No more jumping on people, counter surfing, grabbing and ruining toys/shoes/pillows! Walks are now enjoyable too!! Truly the best money we have ever spent!! We have been to another dog training company before and we were not impressed so when we found Hilton Butler we were a bit apprehensive. Let me tell you they blew us away with the professional of both Hilton and Christine. We had an issue with our puppy nipping and taking our shoes. Amazing! You can tell they truly love and care about each and every dog that comes through their program.My 1.5yr old Cane Corso went to Hilton for behavior issues and basic obedience. Before training she was WILD. She jumped, nipped, ran off, chewed literally everyone and everything!No-one would ever come to visit us and even my children were afraid of her when she would jump on them.Within the first few days back we can already tell she is a completely different dog! She has such good house manners, she no longer jumps and knocks any of us over. We look forward to the continued work and progress Nala has with Hilton and Team to see what the future holds for us.

Our pit-mix is the "spaz" of our family. After spending 3 weeks with Hilton, he came back home MUCH better than we ever thought he could be. We were explained on what Mercury would expect and what days would be like when we dropped him off and were walked through the 3 weeks of training and how to continue to train at home when we picked him up. Hilton was very honest and saying that training must continue at home. Hilton and his family are very passionate about what they are doing and want the very best for you and your animal(s) when you are back at home. We had our first follow up and were able to work through some leash walking issues in a matter of minutes. We couldn’t be happier with Hilton Butler and his K-9 boot camp. Our Black Russian Terrier puppy attended the puppy campout program and after one month Hilton had her extremely well-trained in all of the areas the program focuses on including puppy manners, undesirable chewing, housebreaking, and crate training. Hilton thoroughly explained every aspect of her training when we picked her up. He also gave us a comprehensive manual to take home for reference, although he made sure to let us know that we could contact him at any time with questions. It has been 6 months since her training and our puppy still knows what she can and cannot chew on (she can distinguish between her toys and the childrens’ toys, shoes, etc.), happily goes into her crate as soon as she’s asked, and has zero accidents in the house. We also appreciate how Christine and Hilton kept us updated on how our puppy was progressing each week of the program. Another great aspect of their program is that you are allotted 3 additional follow-up visits from Hilton in case you think of any additional areas in which you would like your pet to receive training.Hilton Butler’s puppy campout program is thorough, effective, and produced excellent results for our family. Hilton and Christine are always available to answer any of our questions when they arise. Additionally, Hilton and Christine are wonderful, compassionate individuals and have treated us and our puppy like family. We recommend their program highly and without reservation.

Hilton Butler Review -POST FOR DAWN E.Tucker went to the Butler K-9 Bootcamp at seven months and with very high energy! He came home a very happy puppy still with high energy, but with some good doggie manners as well! I especially appreciated the thorough upfront dialogue about specific behavior issues to be addressed, and the weekly communication of his progress. This family run program on a beautiful property some distance from where I live was worth the cost and the travel. One of the most beneficial aspects of the program are the home visits following training. Transitioning good manners from the training program to the home environment is crucial. My breeder recommended the program to me and I am very glad she did. Based on Tucker's experience, I highly recommend the Hilton Butler K-9.

Hilton works magic on dogs. We took our 2 year old Rottweiler, Lady, to Hilton to help with some aggressive behavior she developed. We could tell the difference immediately after picking Lady up. She had her confidence back and seemed happier. It's only been less than 24 hours but we definitely see a difference. Hopefully we as the owners remember what we were taught. I know the dog knows what to do.

We love you guys!! They took great care of our 2 fur babies and would certainly recommend them. While they stayed with Hilton, we were very nervous but Christine certainly put us at ease with the adorable pictures and progress reports. We rescued a dog from a shelter right before she was to be euthanized. Our problem was the information we were given about the dog and our first impression of the dog, were vastly different than what we actually brought home. 4 days into the adoption, our home life had been flipped upside down. All our other animals were so stressed they were beginning to be covered in massive bald spots, because they were constantly licking themselves trying to self soothe. We worked with her all we could for four weeks, and then were faced with the tough decision of giving her up or investing in her. I called Christine crying and she helped guide me through both options, with resources, research, and no pressure either way. We decided to take the gamble and invest in professional training, and we are SO happy we did! Hilton and Christine are absolutely amazing! We simply could not have asked for a better experience! With their help we understand the dog we brought home, what we need to do to help her, and with their help, Cali is now the dog we need her to be. Sending Cali to them was 100% the best decision we ever could have made. From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank them and will forever be grateful.

We recently had our Rottweiler puppy named JAX trained with Hilton, Jax has always been extremely sweet but has a ton of energy and kept getting into everything. I trained our last 2 Rotties and they were wonderful dogs. I have always been the type of person that said dog training was for people who couldn't control their dogs. We were referred to Hilton by a friend who has used Hilton on all of their dogs. So whether i lost my touch or Jax just proved to be a challenge we decided to take Jax to Hilton. We couldn't be any more pleased with the results we got and would definitely recommend Hilton to anyone out there looking for some help. Best of all after the initial training is done Hilton offers additional classes for your personal desires. I was shocked when Hilton followed up and asked how everything was after Jax had returned home. I told him that Jax would be overly excited when picking our kids up from school and there were a several other dogs and tons of 5 year olds running around so Jax would be a borderline out of control unless i was yelling at him like a crazy person. To my surprise Hilton offered to go with me the following day to pick my kids up so that he could show me how to correct the situation like a sane person. We live an hr apart so to me that says he truly cares about his work and reputation. On top of everything else Hilton offers boarding for the customers. Its always hard to leave our dog with strangers so having Hilton and his family care for our dog while we are out is like leaving him with family.I would absolutely recommend Hilton Butler Training.Richard Baro

Our GSD was a rescue pup from an owner that paid for a pure breed GSD, but once she got too large wasn’t ready for the responsibility. We took her in, and we just couldn’t reach out to her. She tortured our elderly 11 year old GSD mix, and caused our old girl so much stress. Hilton was our last resort... we are two days removed from her full camp experience, and she’s a different dog. She listens! She is a little challenging, but WOW it’s night and day. We will be recommending Hilton to EVERYONE!

I can't say enough good things about Hilton and this bootcamp! My 10-month-old puppy came back so well behaved I could hardly believe it. He kept his silly, sweet personality but now actually listens to me. I wasn't able to take him to the dog park before because he had some aggression issues, and he didn't see the point in listening to my commands unless I had a treat (and sometimes not even then). Now he comes when called, heels (off leash, too) even with a bunch of distractions around us, and I can take him to the park where he plays wonderfully with the other pups. Hilton and Christine did an amazing job. This was easily the best money I could have spent.

We started working with Hilton in 2015 after rescuing a young puppy dumped in our neighborhood golf course. We already had 2 dogs and were not prepared for what this sweet puppy grew up to become (90 pound pit/weimareiner mix). He was showing what we assumed was aggression only to learn he was demonstrating anxiety and fear. Hilton worked with Oakley for an extended period of time on basic obedience. Near graduation time Hilton indicated he thought it would be a good idea to bring the other 2 dogs to see how they all related (the pack). Within just a few minutes of the others arrival, it was apparent Oakley's anxiety and fear creeped in. He wasn't sure where he fit in the pack. Hilton asked for the other 2 to stay until he could get the three of them all ok with each other. It actually worked perfectly for us because we had a planned vacation and were going to board the dogs anyway. When we got back Hilton spent time with us discussing the pack mentality and how their pack was set up. He also reviewed the basic obedience commands and sent us home with a binder and dvd which I reference often. Our family made sure to continue to reinforce the training at home. Oakley and the other two had been great for 3 years. We moved recently and Oakley appeared to be digressing-becoming much more fearful therefore demonstrating defensive behavior. My immediate call was to Hilton who made a site visit within a few days of my call. We made some adjustments and learned new techniques (including using an e collar). After we worked with Oakley at home for a week or two, Oakley made an overnight visit with Hilton for some final tweaking. Hilton's understanding of the dog and ability to communicate to clients in a way that makes sense has been invaluable. We can not thank both Hilton and Christine for their service. They are my go to whenever I have concerns about our dog's behavior.
