After the “revamp” of Floyd’s we decided to give it another try in hopes that it would be improved. Unfortunately, it is worse than before. The owners are extremely unprofessional. The food is sub par. The owner and wife come in under the influence and talk poorly to guests as well as removing small children at 9:45 because they are running a “bar” and “this isn’t a Chili’s”.Most importantly the owner refuses to support the community and his staff. A mother lost her husband within the last week leaving her raising their 6 children on her own. The owner was irate that that patrons were donating money to a donation jar as it was not his problem.Go give Bottles and Boards, Charlies and The Family Table a shot. Great food. Great owners. You won’t be disappointed.

First of all the service was terrible!! The waitress didn’t introduce herself and seemed bothered by us just being there was very rude!! We ordered drinks she didn’t even ask if we would like an appetizer she brought 3 off the 5 drinks then we waited a half hour after asking her for the other 2 drinks before we received them! 3 of us ordered the smothered steak and ended up with a hamburger covered in gravy!! I would NOT recommend eating here!!

Stumbled upon this place today and WOW what a pleasant surprise! From the atmosphere to the food, everything was excellent!! I had the chicken fried chicken and a side of sautéed mushrooms and both were delicious! I was so full but didn't want to leave anything behind. Not sure how many mushroom lovers there are out there but the portion of my side of mushrooms was just beautiful, this place warmed my heart and I think I may have found love ❤️

Tried this restaurant out for the first time tonight, and I’m so impressed. The service was unbeatable (we have four little kids, so going out & getting great service isn’t easy), the food was delicious, prices were great, the music was great, atmosphere was great. Definitely going to make this a regular spot!Kid-friendliness: First of all, the atmosphere and service was so wonderful. Friendly, super helpful, above and beyond. The kids options were perfect for my picky eaters, and all came out perfect. The pricing for the kids meals and the kids drinks were really on point as well. It’s hard to find good places to take them with food that comes out right & family friendly service.

The burger I had was amazing and so was the bar tender Hannah, she made me an ol smoky habanero Margarita and oh man it was so good! I would highly recommend trying it out. Only draw back for me was that they didn't have any gluten free bread options for their burgers or corn tortillas for their tacos. I just made my Alamo burger into a burger "salad" and they gave me a generous amount of veggies to accommodate. Fries were just right not soggy and not to crispy. Over all 5 out of 5!

The special was Blackened Redfish with Cajun Grits, and we both enjoyed it a lot. Nice place, tables are not crowded together. Desserts looked good from what we saw, although we were too full to try them. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

I'm a local of Farmersville for 25 years. I would like everyone to know that the owner of Floyd's doesn't not support our local family's in need. We have a fundraiser going for a local family that lost their father to a tragic accident. With help from the manager we had tickets available there. The owner came in and was very disrespectful to the Manger saying terrible things that I don't want to repeat on here and asked that the raffle be taken down. I will not be giving them anymore of my business. I ASK EVERYONE TO BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES.

When we first walked in, it was kind of smokey like there was a fire in the kitchen.Service was good. Floor was sticky. Food wasn't that good. Salad was your typical salad. The wings, corn dogs & fries all tasted as if the oil was burnt. Maybe we went at an off time. Prices were kind of steep for the quality of food.

Went to lunch on Sunday here. Place had about 5 tables with customers. Waited more than 5 minutes to have a hostess come to greet us. Another 5+ minutes to get a drink order taken. More than 25 minutes for our orders to come out. The chicken fried steak did not taste freshly made. Servers were not very polite or engaging. One of our meals came 10 minutes after the rest of the table and the plate was dumped on table with a "here". No apology for the delay. The service was slow and food below average. Our first and last time to eat here. We were told by the waitstaff that management changed about 2 weeks ago.

Very disappointing. Ordered an appetizer and beverages which came out fairly quick - unfortunately after 40 minutes of anticipation of our meal we'd Ordered, our server admitted she forgot to put in our order. She offered to discount the meal if we'd still like to eat but unfortunately we'd already been there so long that we didn't have time to wait. I understand they'd recently gone through a change in ownership and our server was training multiple staff members - while I appreciated her honesty, it was such a bad experience that we won't be returning. We did pay full price for our tea and appetizer which kinda shocked me - I'm guessing no managers were available as our server was the only staff contact we had.

I would give it less than one star. Went for lunch today. All of our burgers were so thin and burnt. Three people was over $65.00. We had burgers, sides and tea. Are you kidding me!!! The restroom was not clean and didn’t even have soap. How are the employees washing their hands!?! Loved this place over a month ago…they have went down hill fast. Definitely won’t be back.

Went there on Saturday for a drink and a dessert, but the service lacked consistency, and follow-up. The management there didn't even come out to see the floor and several people got up and left in the middle of service. Took 25 min for appetizers so a meal and dessert was skipped after such a rough experience. They need a lot more training in the front of the house on service times and service itself, and in the back of the house on communicating with the servers on service and ticket times.

We came in around 4:30 pm on a Thursday and there was only one other person in the whole place and he was smoking what looked like a vape at the bar. He saw us watch him so he stopped. We ordered fried mushrooms for the appetizer, they were good and hot. We then ordered our food and about 5-10 min later our waitress came back out and said they ran out of steak for the cheesesteak quesadilla. I order chicken strips instead. The adult chicken strip meal only came with two chicken strips for $11!! I thought I had the kids meal at first. My mom ordered the veggie quesadilla and enjoyed it, except for the canned mushrooms they throw on the side. My food was hot, my moms was not. There are no refill on sodas, as they are from a can. When my mom ordered a wine the waitress just stared at her and said nothing. So my mom asked if something was wrong and then she walked away. Overall not great when you add it all up. It’s now 5:30 and there isn’t a single soul in here except for us.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie quesadilla
