We loved this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and family-friendly. The staff is super nice. We were able to get right in. The food was delicious, and was perfect temperature. Afterward, we had to try one of the Blue bell ice cream selections and took home a Dutch chocolate meringue pie that was homemade! When we me and my two kids walked in. We were impressed with the culture and vibe here.We ordered our meal. I purchased the chicken fried chicken, my two kids ordered the jalapeño burger, chili cheese burger and we got the fried mushrooms as our appetizer.Let me tell. We were IMPRESSED! From the badder to the taste of the chicken fried chicken, the fried mushrooms, their ranch dipping for the appetizer, their Jalapeños Burger was great, their chili cheese burger was great, their French fries were perfect.To top it off, our waitress was wonderful. It’s rare that I give 5-stars, but this place deserves all 5-stars. EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM. Was delicious. From the smell, taste, presentation and service. I’ll definitely be back.

Super quaint place, and the food is excellent!!! Even have great gluten free options, including gluten free burger buns! This is going to be a new family favorite place!Vegetarian options: Impossible burgers availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free options! As a family with several celiac kids, this is super important, and the way it was executed was excellent! Took a while to get our food, but I can see why: the burgers were fall apart tender and juicy!

I have been here several times. Food is always good and atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Service has been great until tonight. First time I’ve ever had to question the wait staff about anything. Only to be spoken to in a hateful manner. Maybe I’m wrong for it, (since my order was on the table) I left. I will not pay to be disrespected.

They moved location! This location is much bigger and sit down with menus and servers.They also have an ice cream "bar" with bluebell. Over all great place and great food just like always.I also 100% appreciate the gluten free bread option! 🙏Vegetarian options: They have a meatless burger option

Wow! If this is not one of the best dining experiences I’ve had so far and my new go to place in Farmersville. If you haven’t been to the Charlie’s Burgers new location yet you are sorely missing out! They totally revamped their menu and the food was delicious. Me and my husband go here fairly often now and the restaurant is huge. be sure to try the chicken friend steak or ribeyes. Great place to go to after a school game!

I normally don't give 5 stars right off the bat, but I had saved this place for awhile now and my friend came here without that knowledge. It was a little over 10:30 which is when they stop serving breakfast, but they allowed me to order a breakfast plate anyway. Very good food. Everything was hot, nothing lukewarm. The eggs were cooked well. The gravy was hot, and i didn't need any extra dipping sauce for any of it. My friend ordered a burger and fries. I had nothing to complain. He let me try the patty. Wow ! A lot of flavor ! I would have ordered one if i wasn't so full ! My fried turkey slice was smokey and delicious. The only complaint i may have to give, was the "taters" were a little on the salty side. But that's just me not really caring for salt. Overall great experience, cozy comfy atmosphere, friendly staff, bathrooms were clean, and i loved all the old signs on the wall. They also have a small gift shop across the room with souvenirs and other small gifts. And they serve fresh baked pies. Definitely recommend !

The quality of the breakfast cuisine in particular had degraded before Charlie's slight name tweak and move to its current location. We thought we would give them another chance.We were greeted by the new rendition of the country/agriculture vibe Charlie's is known for. There was ample seating available, and we could hear other diners enjoying breakfast.While looking over the new decor, we noted a sign that implored us to "Wait to be Seated." Which we did for ten minutes. During that time, we didn't even catch a glimpse of a Charlie's employee. No "We'll be right with you." No "Good morning, " Nothing. Nice ambiance does little to counter poor service at an eatery.We left with plans to have breakfast at Cattlemen's in Blue Ridge, Texas.

Terrible!!!!!!! Never go here. Took 20 minutes to get seated. 20 min for come ask if we wanted drinks. Family of 6 got served before me and my 2 kids. Food was bad. Burger undercooked. They got my daughters order wrong. Didn’t even offer to to discount I had to ado annd they only did 3% and my daughter had a hair in her Mac and cheese. Never again.

Burger itself was pretty decent. That being said, it took a ridiculous amount of time to come out because they had misplaced our ticket. On top of that, while waiting for our food, a waitress bumped into a kid that was walking around, and spilled tea all over my friend. Not only did she not apologize, but there was absolutely no compensation. Suffice to say this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a restaurant

Was pretty good. They can work on how they deep dry the food. Our okra came out like a ball instead of pieces. It was also very well done. Got a bacon cheese burger. It was alright. Everything seems pretty simple. Menu need some work. You have to ask what things are because they don’t have descriptions on some and it a name that doesn’t tell you what is on it. Pricing is also a little all over the place it seems. But restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and would try it again.

Took forever to be seated there was only one waitresses working and one table of six when we arrived. The waitress was very short with us and didn't provide a good service at all and bearly spoke to us. We waited over 25 minutes just to order our food and another 25 minutes to get our food. The waitress never refilled my drink and only filled my mom's upon request after flagging her down. mine sat empty for the rest of my meal because she never checked on us at all. the more it got busy the more we were ignored. Then to have to flag her down once again to pay was absolutely ridiculous it wasn't a enjoyable experience at all for us. She was more concerned about seating the customers walking in than helping the customers trying to pay who had already waited a long amount of time. This has happened the past 2 times we have come. We probably won't be back it's not worth being ignored and playing tag with a server.

Place is decent to look at, waitress was friendly enough but honestly why in the world can you not get the food out to the table in under an hour when your not busy. Been here three times and tonight is the last time. We watched one of the few tables that had 6 cancel the order after they were told they were just cooking their order. Also charging an extra 1.29 for a side of beans or fries that are cheaper food items when you get 2 sides on an order is just not smart. We waited to try again after three months as last time our food took an hour and a half to get. This time was about 45 minutes to an hour with a restaurant not busy to justify it. Good luck and be glad there are not a lot of options in this small town or you would be out by now.

This place is amazing. I drove over 2 hours just for this. The staff was very helpful and kind. The food is incredible cooked perfect. I decided to take on the Big Hoss which is a pound and a half burger with fries and onion rings. If you eat it all you get on the wall of fame. I finished that big boy I had to stand for the last few bites. Everything was great I will be back a lot more.

This is the 2nd time we have gotten Take-out, also its the 2nd time they have forgotten a item. Ordered the Chicken fried goodness with 2 sides, Mashed Potatoes and Fried Okra. And they gave me a total of 5 pieces of okra. And the Chicken fried steak was seasoned with way too much salt. I spent a total of $157 for the last 2 Take-out orders my family has placed. Not spending another dime with this restaurant. If i could give zero stars i would.

Love the new location in the old farm feed and grain store. The wood smell when you walk in can't be beat, and the food is fantastic. The prices are fair and what I expected. Love the place for my wife and I.God bless! 😀

Have had some fantastic meals here but tonight felt like I was in a different place. Meals took longer than normal, chicken fried steak was burned almost inedible, we picked at it to get enough to eat, the onion rings were burned. No one asked how our meal was until I called her over and quietly shared my disappointment. The check came and it was at full price. I had to ask if there would be any comp and she left and came back awhile later and said he took off 10%. That was a whopping $3. Wow. I understand the cook was alone but it was not significantly busy at 6pm. I would think the staff wants customers to return but to have to ask if they would comp does not look like they want repeats. Oh and did I say I got a whole $3 off on a $34 meal. Sad to say we will not be back for awhile.

We had lunch here today and found the food, the atmosphere, and the service lovely! Yummy (and large) burgers at a reasonable price and cooked to order. The tea was good, and the sauces all tasted homemade in the best way. Family-friendly atmosphere without being so loud you can't hold a conversation, staff was attentive without hovering, and clean restrooms. We had a very positive experience and will be back.
