I love them all! Very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest and greatest things to keep your pets healthy and happy. They take time with you and your pets and make sure all your questions are answered.Dr. Mackey is amazing. She saved our boy when we first moved here and didn't have a vet yet when he got into some rat poison. She got him in immediately and took great care of him. We met Dr. Roush today and he was great with our pets too. We are thankful to have these vets and techs close by to help us with our babies.

Was very surprised at how nice and attentive they were to Winston. The vet was very nice and explained things thoroughly. They played and interacted with him and just an all around wonderful place.

First time visiting with our two cats. The vet and the staff were very friendly. The cats were taken care of and didn't get too bent out of shape because they were at the vet. Great experience for both cats and us.

Just be aware that they won't give you a prescription even if they don't have the medicine you want. They say to go to their online pharmacy that, if you go to their website, does not exist. On top of that, their prescription prices are literally twice that of someplace like Chewy. I'm for supporting local businesses but to a point. Otherwise they're very friendly and knowledgeable.

We have had pets for our entire lives. We moved to Mexia in 2021 and tried the vet there. It was the worst experience I had ever had. I asked around and a few of my neighbors mentioned Fairfield Vet. Although it is 30 minutes each way, it is SO worth it! Everyone is so kind and friendly. They are not trying to "sell" you something every time you walk in the door. They even mail me prescription refills!Our French Bulldog had a dermatologist in Dallas for his skin issues. We told him that something seemed wrong with the pigment in his mask. They told us it was nothing, but Fairfield ran a biopsy and discovered he had cancer. We were so happy to know.

Wonderful staff. Needed at home euthanasia for our 11 year old Great Dane. Dr Mackey came and was very gentle and kind with our boy. Highly recommend. 💜

My new dog started having seizures right after adoption. I took her into their care and immediately they started working on blood tests and medication plans. I can always call to report her status and they are so happy to help advice wise and if I need to bring her in. They are so friendly and I can always count on them. Super clean facility, very nice people.

My poor Remmi’s eye was having problems, and his regular Vet could not get him in for an appointment, and another local Vet couldn’t get him in either. I couldn’t stand seeing him in pain, so I called Fairfield Veterinary Hospital, which is about a 30 minute drive for me, and they were happy to get him in. Come to find out, he had a small ulcer in his eye. Dr. Mackey was quick to diagnose the ulcer, and explain to me what it was, and told me exactly what to do. She was so good with Remmi, and as soon as we left, he was much happier and in better spirits than when we got there! I am so thankful for Dr. Mackey and Fairfield Veterinary Hospital for getting my baby in for a last minute appointment and getting him fixed up. Not to mention the cost of the visit, and two medications was very affordable! Thank you!☺️Pictures shows the night before I noticed his eye was getting worse, and when we returned from the vet appointment! He was so happy.

They was supposed to fix my dog and her private area has came back our twice since she was supposed to be fixed I've had to pay the 1st time after her being fixed but i don't thing I should have to pay the 3nd time for something that was supposed to be fi wd tge first time

They were awesome with my difficult mini dachshund. She has major anxiety and very stubborn. She had really bad skin problems and Dr. Roush explained everything so we could really understand it. She looks amazing already.

I had to have my 13 year old GS put to sleep there and they actually got down in the floor with her and I and could not have been sweeter or more patient. They also burn a candle on their waiting area counter to let others know that someone is saying good bye to their beloved pet. I also took my other dog out to them for an open gash on each of her front legs. They kept her overnight and got her taken care of. Now for that to have been a traumatic visit for her, I thought I would not have an easy time getting her back for her check up. Well, she pulled me in that office as in literally ran in. No fear...she loves that place!! I agree...I cannot say enough positive things about the Doc and the staff!!!

Dr Rousch is awesome! He is very intelligent, educational & compassionate. We are frequent flyers at this clinic...he has treated several of our animals. This weekend we had to put our old girl to sleep, although it was a dreadful & sad experience, Dr Rousch & his staff provided impeccable care!

Dr James and his vet tech were awesome! They took time and care to explain everything and definitely went beyond what any other vet has in making our dog Daisy feel at ease in the office. We will be back with the rest of the pups when its their turn, thank you guys so much for doing what you do!

So glad I found this clinic! I needed a place that could diagnose and treat goats. Checked several places in the area, no one does it! This place does, and they know what parasites to look for, how to give proper load count and how to treat them. Surprisingly, good affordable vets are quite rare around here. So glad I found this one!

Not knowledgeable about the meds I requested existing when I found it online in a few minutes.I try buying local and keep money flowing for small businesses but I want what works not what's better for their profit margin.

If I could give FVH more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. On a Friday afternoon I noticed my kitty, Trunks, wasn’t acting right. I called them and they told me to go ahead and bring him over and drop him off so they could work him when they could. To my surprise they called me only 15 mins after I dropped him off to tell me he had a urinary block. They provided him with exceptional treatment, and were happy to give me detailed updates on him throughout his stay. After 3 days in the hospital, he’s home and recovering. I believe they genuinely care about the animals that come in for treatment. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else from now on!

Once my cat got looked at after getting chewed up by several dogs everybody there was very helpful and very nice. I was very upset though that when I called the emergency number the person didn't seem to be very concerned told me somebody would be there at 8 to look at my cat I called before 7 and they didn't get there till 9. I could have tsken my cat someplace else and he could have died in the car waiting for a vet he was in very bad shape. Just poor communication on their part

We had to have are old dog put to sleep. Not and easy thing to have to do but the staff is very caring and compassionate. Received a card from the staff a week later very heart felt and unexpected thank you for everything.
