Clean showers, plenty of truck parking. They have an armed security guard. Personally felt safe regardless if he was there or not. The subway/chesters dining room is pretty filthy. Tables and floors are notclean at all.

Less than 50 miles from the Mexican border the area is kind of sketchy when you get out your truck just to walk to the bathroom you get this eerie feeling about the location and the security guard has a gun they have armed security don’t park your truck in the back sectionI seen three stray dogs running through the parking lot. I haven’t seen stray dogs since a kid I grew up in the 80s it doesn’t even feel like you’re in America at this travel stop

Larger than ur average loves truck stop. Parking area is twice as large as other loves stops. Very busy high foot traffic here tho. Always a line at the registers. Sales alcohol. Have plenty choices for food, healthy options also. A cat scale is at this location. Also a tire and mechanic shop.

There was no wait for a shower at 1800 and available parking. The restroom was dirty , not filthy but needed attention, a tour bus arrived and made lines out the restroom pretty long. Food from Chester's was fresh although they didn't have any chicken livers and the lady didn't seem able to comprehend what I was asking for. Overall it's a pretty busy location and get in early or you won't find parking. Employees were all proffesional.

English!! We are in the USA.. why am I greeted in Spanish? The bathroom is not the cleanest. Nor the store. Cashier didn’t even speak English greeting me.no greeting at all actually.

This is so gross. I overlooked the rag maybe they forgot to check but after I showered here realized it wasn't cleaned at all. Now I see shavings on the sink which that even grosses me out in my own home. I can't believe how gross loves can be. Even the walls and floors look outdated. C'mon loves we are in 2018 not 1918. Clearly I use my loofah not those gross rags

Disgusting customer service of cashier, first of all, the girl needs to be polite and then Love’s need to train them on how to re-print the gas pump receipt. What kind of work is that if they even don’t know simple thing to do? Just standing at the counter and doing nothing doesn’t look like someone is working to do. Also, restroom and overall store is so filthy and nasty with horrible smell. Thank you for making our service very pleasant!😄

If I could, I'd give this place minus a million stars. Every time I go into this dump, they have an excuse for why they can't do anything: the power is out, it just came back on, we're short staffed, etc. Love's, you need to shut this garbage dump down yesterday!!! If anyone is planning on stopping here, DON'T!!! Go to the Road Ranger across the street. You get better service!!!!!

Second visit here and this place is always very dirty bathrooms trash everywhere and the showers are the worst. Both times the showers had urine all over the toilets seats and tooth paste slobber all over the sink. I can't imagine the shower is clean. No soap in any of the dispensers. The worst loves in the country for drivers. We waited 40 mins for this dirty shower.

Stopped in to wash the road off and the showers were disgusting to say the least. 1st thing I noticed was another trucker leaving the shower my girlfriend and myself had. The attendant went inside with a mop and nothing else 😲😲, a minute and a half later they yelled your shower is ready. I've seen cleaner facilities at homeless shelters.....Mold was growing everywhere, hair on the walls an someone's old bar soap in the shower

Restrooms were very dirty. Mirrors, walls, sinks and floors looked as though cleaning had been neglected for a weeks.Food station needed cleaning and napkins available for customers.Windshield squeegees at fuel pumps were soaking in brown mud water.Gas prices were competitive thanks to next door competition. Saved it from a one star review.Overall, from a motorist pov, (not pro trucker) I’d say pass this place by for cleaner options.

We got here early in the day, went to take showers, and both me and my husband had ice cold showers. And very dirty we both had soap from previous showers left.Worst shower I have ever had. When we brought it up to the lady st the fuel desk, she didn't apologize or anything. The parking lot was full at 14:00 and at least 3 trucks deep at the fuel island.

a very bad attention little hygiene in the showers the truth is a very very dirty place. a woman who is all full of jewelry has a very bad temper treats customers like second class people. if you are in a hurry I do not recommend you come to this place they have bad management....

The women with the red hair. Let me tell you something if your working your working for money your one of the laziest inconsiderate worker, I have ever seen took her 50 mins to even acknowledge 4 customers in line for a shower with 4 showers waiting to be clean. Instead of talking to the manager which it seems you have a huge crush on stop wasting other peoples time or find a new job.

between midnight to 6am, all locations are short on staff which is absolutely unacceptablestaff members at night are exhausted, no smile, no welcome....loves, wake up. Just as days for Pilotflying j came and gone, so can be yours.the showers are worn out. the ugliest shower heads in the industry

They don’t have any washers or dryers. There’s an armed guard that got way to close to me and made me feel very uncomfortable, he also seemed to follow me around the store. His job is to be there incase he’s needed. Not follow customers around looking for trouble…

Not recommend! Pulled in about 9 pm looking to get a PM done, was told by the gentleman at the counter that they where not doing anymore PM tonight, that I would have to wait until the morning tech got in. Tried to get on the waiting list for the morning and was told they don't do that anymore. Figured I would wait until the morning to get on the list, went in at 7am was told there was already another truck in front of me, not a problem, until 2 and a half hours go by the truck finally pulls out of the bay, I thought to myself I would be next. About 45 minutes goes by and still no call for me to come in. As I pull away, as I have to get to my next job, I see two of the technicians standing out in front of the shop hosing down the concrete as if it was gonna grow. Now maybe one of them needed to be there washing it down, but the other one was playing on his phone. It may just be me, but if you work at a shop of this nature, your priority should be to get trucks in and out of your shop.

I always enjoy stopping at loves when traveling to Mexico. We have noticed gas prices fluctuate as much as 30 cents which we find odd considering they are the same franchise. Sometimes within 20 miles the priced fluctuate that amount. There are other gas stations that may be cheaper near by but when you are not from around is somewhat difficult to get the absolute best price and also not waste time for stopping to let the ladies take a break.

Cleanliness is obviously not a priority at this joint. Went too take a shower and the stall was not cleaned. In fact it looked like they just switched out the towels. The shower actually still had old soap rappers in it. The shower itself also did not work correctly. It was warm enough but came out in two streams, adjustments not possible. The place just did not seem well managed

This Love’s in Encinal,TX is one of the best Love’s in the area. The showers were very clean and so was the truck parking. The staff inside were nice, the ladies working at Chester were super friendly and helpful. Also, they have SECURITY. There is a Security Officer patrolling the parking and with consent, he will inspect the outside of your Tractor-Trailer to make sure there are no undocumented people trying to hide in it. I thought that was fantastic. Highly recommend this place your quick stops and DOT breaks.

I like loves and use them every chance I get, for fuel food and showers, this however should be a good example of what my favorite station should not be like. It's always dirty and disorganized and worse showers are also always dirty. It is extremely busy and that's why I think they need a much bigger facility, with more staff. I will keep going to other loves just not this one

One of the worst and most disgusting loves we have ever been to. As a professional driver and with the money us drivers spend you would think this place would be at least clean but NO!!! Showers were disgusting smelt like someone pooped all over the place. Restrooms were even worse. No one cleans or cares about cleaning. They were out of coffee and creamer. And when you ask someone they look at you like really? Open your eyes loves and realize us drivers and even the 4 wheelers need a good clean place to go.

Showers here are disgusting. They smell like mildew and there was a pube on the toilet seat. It does not appear clean , it does not smell clean ( like any sort of fabuloso or bleach...) so therefore, it's not clean. It's very clear that they don't care if you enjoy your shower or not. I won't be stopping here if I can help it in the future.
