We we're greeted by 5 different persons in a great way , we're out of towners,we like HEB wish we had one .Good prices as well as deals I like that very much ,I think they knew we weren't locals we were amazed at meat layout 😃.The employees were outstanding in customer service!!!

Went in to get a cake asked the older gentleman if he can get a strip and write happy birthday on it. Older Gentleman stated they never do that here. I have been to many different heb and they have done it before many times with no complain. He was very rude stated next time order ahead and maybe we can have never experienced this at any HEB dealing with a rude partner as staff is always friendly and welcoming. Please speak to your bakery staff it’s just a strip a simple happy birthday on it would be nice.

Someone at this H‑E‑B in Elsa failed to do their spoilage inspection. Bought Midtown frozen pizza from them. Took it out and baked it only to come out to a funky smell. I ate 1/4 of the box and it was the most disgusting pizza ever. So I checked the box only to find out it was 5 months expired! Went back to H‑E‑B and of course they let me have a new one but I checked the whole section of the specific midtown pizza I had got and I saw almost an entire section ALL expired! I saw June and May of 2023 dates! The beef was sort of grey and I can’t believe I ate it. I trusted H‑E‑B but someone put expired spoiled pizza on the shelves. I can understand a week but how is there 8-9 months of expired pizza on the shelves! Fix it.

A few months ago...Just got back from HEB...All good got my needed items for Taco wednesday...every body working but not too busy to answer your questions. This trip waa slower because of new arrangement..Great but will need a few trips to get my taco Tuesday stuff...getting my herrings today...all good...thanks HEB

I love going to heb for there produce and there name brand of food is also great just wish they would be more competitive with there meat prices if they did that I would make it my one stop shop but over what can I say heb is a great store with great staff

Bad managing the card system not working they could off hand out a papper at the entrance to let costumers know it is out of service they let you keep filling your cart wasting time at the end they let you know cards system out of service not fair😔

This is a very nice HEB in Elsa. It is smaller than some of the locations in Edinburg or McAllen, so the selection is also more limited on some items, but you will find pretty much anything you need, as well as great service and friendly staff. I found everything I needed for a special family birthday meal I was to cook.They have the usual Deli, bakery, meat market, produce, dairy, and usual grocery items as well as some kitchen and home items.Skip the McAllen traffic and shop at this HEB! Use the app for additional coupons and savings. These days, every little bit helps!

Whenever I need a re-up at the crib, their definitely is no store that does more than my H-E-B.....it's a quik stop, self-checkout, and back to stock up on what was purchased.....produce is also a go to dept. that has everything you need.....H-E-B is definitely the spot!!

Elsa Whataburger has the best burgers in the valley compared to the rest. They build the burgers carefully and don’t overdo the mustard. The customer service is also great!

Great customer service always!! This is a small store so I don't always find what I'm looking for but I find most of my list. The meat is always of great quality. I would give them five stars but the fruit and vegetable section could improve. Overall I do recommend it because HEB is always great quality.

Its a grocery store.The food prices are actually a little high for my taste. I just moved here from out of state and food prices were less expensive than here. It's kind of surprising because the federal wage here in Texas is still the federal minimum, compared to starting pay of 12 to 13 an hour for state wage in California.

Always fun to shop at H-E-B! It's been awhile since I've gotten to shop here but it was well worth waiting. Friendly staff where they were... seemed a bit scarce but I don't want to judge too early. Going back next week!

This store is always nice and clean...I always see employees rounding up carts and keeping busy. Plus, I love all the in store coupons and deals they have. I usually shop at Walmart but I might have to come here more often.

The store is always kept clean. Every time I pass by this town and visit this store it's well kept. I like how they had plenty of cashiers. Yes, the store is always packed, but common, it's the only HEB nearby around all these small towns. They have plenty of other stores too in the same lot. You got wingstop, Domino's pizza, and a t-mobile store.

Absolutely love coming to this H.E.B everyone is so friendly , acknowledging there customers from the time you walk into the store to the time you leave. Even the workers throughout the aisles stocking say 'Hello'. Awesome job y'all.

The people working here need an attitude adjustment or communication skills training. the girl that was bagging for me was just giving off horrible faces and the girl scanning gives you the silent treatment even when you say "hello, good morning" they're not friendly like the other HEBs from the moment you walkin no one greets you. It's just a horrible atmosphere overall you can't find a worker when you need to find something, you literally have to walk to a paying station just to get help even then they act like they hate having to helping you. which I will not be returning here. I'd rather drive all the way to weslaco HEB then to ever return to this horrible place. You can't find certain items that you can at weslacos HEB. They should change the name to HED here everything is different. From higher prices on fruits and veggies to the workers that need to learn how to communicate. I will not be returning here and I recommend anyone that needs anything go to the weslaco HEB where they will treat you like a human being and not a pest.

I like HEB over Walmart but…. I hate the self checkout, and it feels forced because they only open a couple lanes.Might as well order online and go pick up from Walmart :/Interaction and people make a difference.

Waited patiently in BBQ line. Got to place my order of tacos. "Don't have tortillas", "I just saw an ice chest full" I replied. "Ill go ask if I can" the boy says to me. This kid is lazy and should take customer service classes. Never had problems ordering tacos before.

They got a nice well organised bakery they also got a nice well organised Meet market The store clerks are real fast I really like this store I should be going there more,The is only one issue I have is that I can’t stand the floor because it looks bad it’s like they’re low grade concrete it looks just like the outside sidewalk. Other than that it’s just as good as any other HEB.

Great customer service but their prices are ridiculous for example a pack of are chicken wing $2.97 per pound can get better fresh quality down the street at meat market for $.99 per pound if you wanted marinated it will cost you $1.49 at HEB will cost you $4.00 for marinated wings.I do know about inflation but dang it you taking advantage of customers who don't even receive food stamps and thats not the only think HEB have a mark up. don't get sucked !

Great service great deals, everything you can ask for, I usually go here to buy my groceries and I always have a good outcome. Yes there is a gas station here. There is a public bathroom and a place to pay your bills. Over all the service is 10/10
