Our first time, we placed order through the drive thru. Oh my! The young man at the window was the nicest along with being genuinely patient with us reviewing the menu along with making suggestions. We did not go inside but from the outside, it already does look like a 90s joint which personally I think gives it more character :) I ordered the triple burger combo with regular fries and my husband ordered the double bomb with onion rings. Delicious! Fries were natural and the onion rings did not break apart easily, maybe double fried but still really good compared to most burger joints now! We will definitely be back 🙃 it reminded us of an old school hamburger made right at home. The simplicity but full of flavor!

New to the area and this is our favorite burger spot!Been here a few times and the burgers have always been fresh and tasty, and the fries hot. Service is great, everyone is super friendly.Double cheese is definitely my favorite. Added bacon last time and was happy with the amount I received. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Food at Tom's was amazing! I've been looking for a really good burgers like this in my local area and it turns out they were right down the street.Each Patty is a quarter pound and on a 5in bun. The junior is on a 3-inch fun.We got burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks!We're definitely coming back here again!

Big Juicy n Dripping Burger 🍔 😋 👌 😍 🙌Yummy fries and even a hot apple 🍎 pie turnover too.....😃🤗😜I was Man Hungry 👨 and I got a double patty burger 🍔 with Pepperjack cheese 🧀 plus jalapeño poppers on it too.....😝🤪😜It was Delicious and Spicy.....so I washed it down with some homemade aqua de horchata.....Oooooooh Yesssssssss Baby 🥛 Friendly service and easygoing customers both sitting down to eat and taking orders to go!Plenty of seats and had that old-world diner feel.....right next to highway 🛣 & gas station ⛽️ 🆒️💫👍👌Super Great and Super filling 🙌 👌 👍

Ordered the burger with fries was surprised it came with dessert **cookies** it was fresh and filling. We also ordered the chicken fried steak plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. It came with gravy and a side of Texas toast. The green beans were seasoned with lots of flavor. The restrooms could use a bit of attention.

The crispy chicken was delicious and huge! A meal in itself! Combo came with fries that were hot and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside...perfect! And a fried apple pie that was crisp and flavorful! Topped with homemade sweet tea... like you expect it to be! Wonderful lunch!

Had to run an errand a little outside of San Antonio and tried Tom's on the way back. Service I wish I had back in town. Burgers were big, grilled fresh and hot. Onion rings perfectly coated. You can tell the oil was kept up. Fried apple pie just the way I like it. Price was fair for what I got. Will drive back again. It was worth it. There is no speaker for drive thru, but you get your order quick and hot.

The food was yummy and service was quick. I got the double cheeseburger combo. It came with fries, drink and apple pie. The burger was a little greasy but everything was delicious. My son got the kids chicken nuggets. It came with fries and a drink. He enjoyed it. I would come back to this place.

We stopped in for the first time yesterday. I loved everything about this place. It gave me “old school” and nostalgic vibes. They keep it simple. Atmosphere was nice. Good location. They even have a drive thru. Staff was great. Food was great. Prices were great. Will be back.

This is good burger spot. It’s one of those places where you go up to the counter, and order from the menu up on the wall. My double cheeseburger was really hot and super juicy. The service was great and prompt. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the soda fountain was out of order, and my fries were a bit over done. Also, my meal came with a Nutty Buddy?!? Lol. Not sure what that’s about, but it was a good little treat afterwards. I would come back, and eat here again in the future.

Atmosphere- kinda like an old 90s dinner, very nastalgic. Food price - very reasonable not overly priced, staff was 2 older gentalmen and 2 younger adults all of which were well mannered and were very friendly and outgoing(was going to be nice and wait in food order line for a refill but cashier pulled me aside and got it) food was excellent got a cheese burger it was juicy and delish, with some jalapeño bombers(they are very similar to church’s for anyone wanting a comparison) wife got hamburger steak plate with green beans and mash potatoes, potato’s wernt the instant kind, or if they were they were very good. 5/5 this place is a great stop off the highway to get some good food at an excellent price. Will return. Thank you guys!

While looking at the menu, a gentleman named Chuck came up to us and asked us if this was our first time eating here. We told him it was. He recommended their signature burger called the Bomb Burger. The burger has jalapeño poppers in it. He must’ve known that I love jalapeño poppers. Lol! He also recommended to add bacon to it as well. Um, yes please! The Bomb Burger was absolutely delicious! Stop by if you’re in the mood for a Bomb-A$$ burger!

Pleasantly surprised at the great food and great prices. If you like Whataburger hamburgers, you're gonna love these. My mom ordered a cheese burger and said it reminded her of a Whataburger burger, but better. She even got an apple pie with her combo order. That was a nice surprise. I ordered the grilled cheese and fries. Delicious! We got all this food for $13! There were so many fries we commented that we could've shared an order.

This place is a hidden gem, the area looks sketch but the food is on point 10/10 would recommend. First time there and a gentleman named Chuck suggested the bomb burger ( cheese burger with jalapeno poppers and bacon) amazing!! The chili cheese fries 🤤🤤🤤Super friendly staffFood 10/10Don't skip this place even if it looks sketch trust me it's freaking good!!!

Very good stop when driving into San Antonio on I-37. I read the reviews about the apple pie with the combo but they gave me an oatmeal cream pie at first and my husband a hostess cupcake so a little disappointed but then the cashier was bringing out the fresh apple pies 🥧 so I swapped out my oatmeal pie. Only downside, sodas were cans so switched out for tea. I'll definitely be back

Very surprised by the quality of the food. Taste was very good. Stopped here for work lunch and left pleasantly filled and happy with everything.. This place gets slammed for lunch but they are fast and efficient. It's popular out there in elmendorf area .
