Nice folks in a nice place, but you can't get there unless you really mean to do it! A little tough to find without GPS or already knowing where you're going, but Google Maps got me there no problem.Average, run of the mill hardware store. Clean, well stocked. If I lived around there I'd shop there.

Was attempting a DIY AC repair. These folks were very nice and helpful, even though it took me two trips, I'd definitely recommend them. I bought the wrong capacitor first trip, then left my wallet at home the second, but was saved by their site, in store pick up and PayPal.

I like Ace Hardware! The store has a little bit of everything, offering unique gift ideas (various Meyer’s liquid soaps!) and those Yeti items that are a must including the best dog food bowls … great for my Rottie!There is a lady employee who always seems to know just what I need! Knowledgeable and ready to help! Always a nice shopping experience compared to HEB/Walmart!! lol!!

Every time I leave this store, I actually feel regenerated. These people know customer service. They see me often enough these days that they know I like to peruse in peace, but help is never out of reach when needed. Their smiles are genuine and their intent is to make every customer know that you are welcomed and appreciated. It is an awesome store with just the right size and selection for laymen DIY-ers and professional handymen alike. I can't say enough about this shop and its staff. I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. The staff at Post Oak Ace Hardware was extremely pleasant and helpful. One gentleman went out of his way to make sure my question was answered and the cashier staff had smiles on their faces and their interactions were with other patrons just as pleasant as mine. They will be my first choice for a hardware store going forward.

Buyer beware. This is not a chain, it’s an advertising brand. These are individual stores, so if you buy something from an Ace-branded store while you’re traveling in a different city even in the same state, you can’t return it to a different Ace store in that same state or even in that same city. You have to travel back to where you bought it within the 30 day return window (your mileage may vary).I will have to be more careful about what I buy here 😞😞😞

Been looking for a 4mmx.70 bolt for a carburetor, could not find anywhere in Austin. I walk in here and it was like a man's dream, every bolt imaginable! Found what I needed, great service, and friendly staff.

I admit, I am not a fan of mega-chain stores, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes. I know young people have to start somewhere, but if need help fixin' anything, they're clueless. The ol' boy there gave me some good advice, like the same advice EVERY small town hardware store I've been to . Y'all just gained a new customer

Yesterday at post oak hardware, even though they were closing in 10 minutes ,Eddy helped us probably 30 minutes involving and getting the right parts needed for plumbing, also 3 other employees stayed over as well , we were treated with respect, professionalism, kindness, I truly thank post oak Yesterday and recommend that everyone should go there to get stuff they may need, also very knowledgeable, 10 STARS

Great hardware store! Always have whatever crazy little thing that you think you need, but are pretty sure doesn't exist! Associates are always waiting to "jump on you" the minute you get in the door and know exactly where the item you need is located. They seem to rearrange the store more than I want (I just got it memorized!), but it is always an improvement the new way. Some of us "old timers" just hate any kind of change, no matter how good it turns out to be. They have a good selection of "ammo" also, for you plinkers.

Love shopping at this store as the employees are very helpful. The only reason for a 4-Star is the pricing. However, the convenience and quality are worth the additional cost.

We were looking for Crystal Salt for our Water Purifier System and apparently this place had it, and we found out that this store is waaaaaaay better than Lowe's Home Depot or anything like this kind of hardware store. What ever you need for your home they have it and they are kind and helpful.

They're always ready to help. If they dont have something they will try and get it. Couldnt do without them. Usually same prices or cheaper than home depot even before you figure in the 16 mile drive to the closest hodepot.

Love Ace Hardwares! Always have all the small little screws and stuff you need. You need 1 screw you can buy 1 screw. Misplace 1 Allen wrench, you can buy 1 Allen wrench!The folks at this location are always so friendly and helpful. Love small town folks!
