Their grooming services are not good. After instructing not to shave my Samoyed, just lightly trim him, he came back with extremely short hair. Do not recommend for dogs with thicker coats like Huskys and Samoyeds. Shaving their hair too short is bad for their skin as it protects them from the sun, and especially in El Paso short hair can be bad for your dog’s health. Store is fine, grooming is not.Before and after for reference

Yesterday I called to make a grooming apt (cut & wash) for my cat, and was told they only groom cats Wednesday-Friday. My cat got an appointment, got groomed and I was going to pay with applying my military discount. They refused it because they "only do military discounts on Tuesdays" (its on their website, ill give them that) but I also brought my cat 2 months ago and my dog multiple times to this location and the one on 1836 Joe Battle where they applied discount each and every time. Omar (the store manager) was rude in his tone and walked away several times while I was still talking. Throwing the comment "we don't do military discounts, we only do it because we're so close to base." Which isn't true because it's actually on the official PetSmart website that it's offered (regardless of location).If they only do the discount on Tuesdays, thats fine. But how can I even take advantage of my discount if they cant even groom cats on Tuesdays? What sense does it make? Make a day for cats to get groomed with applying a discount on a day the cat groomer is available.If you're Active duty or retired, take your pets somewhere else.Other than that, the cashier was very nice and kept apologizing, it wasn't her fault but I appreciated her being so nice and sweet.The grooming service was eh, alright. Nothing special.

Clean, organized, you can bring your pet to shop around with you, they sell animals, they sell animal food and accessories.Our dog loves the food here, we buy Pro Plan Purina dog food. When he gets cuts, he heals fast, he goes to the restroom well. I can tell that there is a lot of vitamins in his food. We tried changing and he would not go to restroom well.

Thank you for being conveniently close!Always there when I need last minute supplies. Not only that, I love that they are always stocked on fish. I love to come here and just look at all the fish and turtles and crabs and birds. Thank you again. Not as big as some others, nor does it have Banfield located inside. But sometimes a smaller store gives a little more personal experience. The groomers are in my top 3 in el paso.

Worst grooming service I ever experienced. Asked to leave it 1inch high and they cut everything down to the skin. To make it even worse they left everything uneven at the head.

My wife and I are avid reptile keepers. We stopped at this petsmart and noticed this upon entry. Leopard geckos CANNOT physically digest vegetables, they are insectivores. Feeding a leopard gecko this will indefinitely impact and kill the reptile. I brought it up to the cashier so he could notify the pet care dept and the cashier told me “oh no it’s okay we feed them this.” And showed me a pack of Mazuri reptile pellets as if I couldn’t tell the difference between seeing a juvenile gecko eat a carrot as opposed to solid brown pellets. please refrain from taking animal care advice from this store.

Great puppy food. My dog was vomiting some other puppy food after eating. So I switched to this one and within one day he stopped. He looks better and very active. Will be back for more.

My pet got turned away making excuses that he had to be registered with the city when we showed them proof that he is registered with the city. I took my pet to Corolla grooming salon. They are way cheaper and they provided excellent customer service. I filed a formal complaint against the manager.against

Not really busy for a Saturday night!Staff were very polite, very friendly, and most of all "very helpful". Prices may be a bit higher (compared to Amazon) but you do have access to products immediately, IF IN STOCK. This is the ONLY MAJOR PROBLEM, since shelves appeared to be Low On Stock, or COMPLETELY Empty or Unavailable for "other" typically common ("grooming" etc.) everyday PET products but, BUT NOT INCLUDING Canned or Bagged PET FOOD ITEMS. Pet Food Availability appeared TO BE WELL STOCKED, For The Most Part...Overall, the shopping experience could be worthwhile (or not).Besides higher (PetSmart) product prices, AMAZON would/will remain the best/better option (at least for us) for the time being. Better STORE MANAGEMENT (if properly applied) could correct 99% of the shortcomings mentioned above. Again,.. STORE SALES STAFF ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. MANAGEMENT IS!

Staff has been freindly and helpful, for the most part. We have purchased several fish of various species, and we have had alot of trouble with them dying shortly after getting them home. Alot of this stems from employee incompetence in regard to fish and their individual requirements. For example, the last employee put a cold water fish and a warm water fish in the same bag.
