I truly believe fate led me to this Petco. Easter weekend I put down my 15 year old cat (for her comfort and dignity in agreement with my vet). I struck out at 4 places before I walked in here. There was 2 juvenile cats. One warmed right up to me when I interacted with her. Tina helped me finalize the adoption. When waiting in line to pay for the new kitty’s stuff I saw the staff board by the front which listed Tina’s pets one of whom is named Boo. I asked her about it when she was getting the kitty out for me and she told me she called her Boo Boo Bear/Boo Bear. The cat I put down was Boo and I called her Boo Bear. Tina showed me so much compassion when I got choked up. She also gave me info on some websites on cat care and how to introduce our other cat with this new baby. I have had cats my whole life but she still taught me a new trick to use bacon grease on the kitty’s feet and then let it walk around and help give it a new scent connected to our home. I’m definitely doing that. I want to thank Tina sincerely for her advice, compassion, kindness today. She is stellar employee!

I love love love the vet clinic here but I didn’t give the stars due to any treatment my puppy has received there in the vet clinic. I gave the stars because the grooming clinic was terrible. 60 bucks to just bathe and put a bandana on my puppy. Didn’t clip the nails like I asked. Didn’t cut/trim hair around the face like I specifically asked. They said they could cut the nails and trim around his face. They just combed it back and brushed him. The lady basically said we can just take him somewhere else. Won’t be coming back since she was pretty adamant on taking him else where. Plenty of other vets, groomers, and dog stores that won’t do a half 🍑 job.

One lady seemed to be running the whole place by herself. She was a real dynamo. Took very good care of me. Even carried the large dog crate out to my car. Give this deserving woman some help!

My poodle and I just went in to look at birds and check around the dog treats section. We walked by the reptiles and small animals as well. I just have to say that the animals are so well cared for here! They are om a good diet, the reptiles that eat vegetables, are being provided fresh properly sized cut veggies. The reptiles so have great humidity levels. The GM at this store, Lisa, is knowledgeable and is running her team well.

Was able to make an appointment for my cat. Friendly helpful staff. Update. My visit with vetco was excellent. Staff was helpful, friendly and professional. My cat was never stressed about his visit. Thank you!

Place was very clean and organized. Shelves were well stocked and the soft muzzle, we were looking for, was available in all sizes.Associate named Frankie was very helpful and courteous. Definitely will go back.

I don't mean to brag but I spend a lot of money at Petco. Maybe more than I should! I wanted to thank Jonathan, one of the managers, and the staff at Petco for helping me keep good care of my babies. I recently rescued a red eared slider and they knew exactly how to help us! Thanks guys!!

Customer service here is almost non exciting. I spent 45 minutes looking for a specific product, and not once did I see an associate. Only associate I saw was the cashier. Tribble service.

My experiences have been amazing with petco until today. I was waiting in line to checkout and the cashier(Ashley I believe that was her name.) left AFTER seeing me in line, never once acknowledged me. I had to go ask another associate to help me out and helped me right away.

The store itself is average, but I've had such a bad experience with grooming. The first time they butchered my dog's hair and I had to complain to the manager because they still charged me $50 for it. I just decided to give them another try but apparently there was a miscommunication on appt time so I rushed over there like I was instructed, but when I got there I was told that she wouldn't have enough time to do my dog's grooming. Then why tell me to come?! Shame on me for giving them another chance.

We used to always go to PETCO when we were still living in NE. So when we moved to the west side we thought of just doing the service there still even if it’s a bit far. When we arrived, the one who received us was so nice asked our baby’s history and record and found the record as well in the system. She asked for any medical history for my dog,then went inside. So another lady came out and was ready to take my baby and asked again for the history and I mentioned to her again that my dog has epilepsy but controlled with meds. My dog is quiet, doesn’t bark and was never aggressive. Then all of a sudden she mentioned that PETCO doesn’t accept dogs with seizures anymore. I was shocked and told her that the lady before knew that my dog has episodes but never mentioned anything. Plus we used to go there always as I told her. She called her manager and her manager enumerated to me that no bath was done before just nail trim and buffing. I said it doesn’t matter, my baby was catered before why can’t they cater him now? She said they had a new policy for a year now not to accept dogs with seizures which is ridiculous because the last time I was there was less than a year ago and I never had issue. She felt sorry for us and told us that it’s the new policy that she has many clients that stopped going coz of the new policy. I was so disappointed because this is the first time my furbaby has been discriminated because of his condition. I walked away because I will not let them handle him anyway, not after this. It’s sad that just because one groomer is uncomfortable in dealing with seizure everything would change.

Yesterday i took my dog for a grooming his appointment was at 1245, they said his vaccines were updated i took him to the vet, his vaccines were fine brought him back w proof around 1:15 and at 5:30 he was still not done then at 6:15 they called me that he is ready, n i guess the cashier gave him a haircut because for a 77$ haircut it was the ugliest most messy haircut, i couldve done that at home. If u r going to charge that much, please have good groomers.

There is a young Gentleman who I forgot his name I will get it seen him 2wice Long Hair though. And Honestly, out of everybody, he is Amazing. Committed to Help people and Quick. NO Lie Hands down this Guy is going places he is going far in life for now Petco better think about moving him up the ladder. Anyways that's why I gave them that many starts because of him an older lady had a rude attitude but this guy made me and my kiddos Very Happy with his help.

Jennifer was our groomer. She explained how our dog did during the services. Our dog came out smelling and looking great. I encountered 4 different people at the groomers area and all were friendly. The cashier at the store was also helpful with a situation.
