Wish I had the ladies name that helped me out a week ago. I went looking to replace my doggie's cone of shame with something more comfortable. She was so attentive and after not having the right size she made calls and found me one at another store...where they were just as attentive. I give Pet's Barn a đź’Ż for their customer service

Came in 2-13-23 , and the sales associate in the currently shift was very unprofessional, we came in and first thing she said was we close in 5 minutes and proceeded to turn off the lights while customers including myself were still inside the store .

Most people are familiar with the expression, "the customer is always right". Well not according to the young man who "helped" us, and he had no problem saying so. I wanted to upgrade the level of nutrients that was being added to the dog food that we were "paying" for. He told us that we had to stick to the same combination and amount that we got before. I told him that I wanted what I was asking for and he refused. After an extended debate, wife didn't want to argue with the obstinate jerk anymore, so we got the dog food the way that he said that we had to.We'll be going to a different location from now on. I have been raising dogs for over 50 years and no one has ever condescended to me in such an overt manner. Maybe he has some other skills that make him a great employee, however customer relations is not one of them.

To my knowledge, Petsbarn is the only pet store that can customize your pet’s food. I love it! They go over your options when you first get started. Then once you make a purchase you don’t have to remember what you got (incase and put it in a different container) the information is saved in their database. The information is not store specific. The staff we’re attentive and friendly.

I went in here to buy a fish and I saw a lot of the fish tanks where so dirty and dead fish sitting at the bottom of the tank I walked out right away cuz I’m not going to get my fish baby’s sick with what ever those tanks have this is a horrible store to shop that if you ever want to fish

Bought a mesh muzzle on Sunday 07/09/2023. It was too small for my dog. I lost the receipt. Went Back Tuesday 07/11/2023, Christefor waited me asked for my phone number cause I told him I didn’t have receipt, he informed me I had to have the receipt and my phone number was not in the system. I asked for the manager. He said one was not availableI asked for number to call. I went home and called the girl said she was the one who had waited on me.She informed me that I had to be in the system or have my receipt. I told her I had paid cash.she repeated the same thing agin. She said a project manager would call me back. I do not understand that if she had waited on me and my son’s name was in the system, all I wanted was to exchange it for a larger size. I don’t think it is right, I will never con sider buying from this company again and will not recommend your store!!! Unhappy customer.

My dogs love the food from here, which is locally made and I think healthier. Especially when you get the supplements added. My dogs have the softest coats!

Evidently this company has decided customer loyalty is no longer a thing. I have been shopping exclusively here for over 10 years, and enjoying their rewards program. But this has seriously declined in the last 2 years or so. First it was buy six bags get the next one free. Then it went to buy 10 bags get the next one free. Then they switched to an automated system so that the customer would no longer have to keep up with whatever number of receipts was currently required to get the next bag free. During this process I was told that the next time I came I could bring my old receipts and they would add them to the automated system. Today I went in and was told a whole different story, about how old receipts were now only worth a discount off another bag. Way to grow a local brand.Ok, Pet's Barn, I'll agree with you about customer loyalty not being worth anything. I'll no longer be a customer.

Nice staff. Love that you can customize the dog food and all the treats. Wish the bag options were bigger and they had more options on toys and accessories for dog though. I paid 53.00 for a bag of customize dog food and treats and the bag isnt very big so my pitty gonna need a bigger bag of food 🙂.

Great place to shop for brand names like blue or taste of the wild. The prices are comparable with petco or petsmart when it comes to the food. The staff was very attentive and kind. One of the staff helped me carry out a big 50 lb bag of dog food and take ot to my car since I had my hands full with my niece.Friendly staff with a smile and willing to help. Very happy.

The young lady clerk asked if I needed help. I told her my problem that my young German shepherd was walking the rock wall and jumping out of the yard. She advised me on what I needed and why as she had encountered this issue with her dog. I asked her 2-3 times as she was stocking and she graciously stopped to help me each time by pointing out what she recommended and showing me the item. Her coworker was also helpful and friendly. Great service from the store associates! Always!

Great place to purchase items for my pet. I love the deals that they have on the local honey as well as the pet tags. I've bought a few treats for my dog and he absolutely loves them! I'm yet to purchase the food that they mix there at the store. To be honest I'm not too familiar with the process, but I've heard that other pets love that food! I'm happy about the prices, the cleanliness of the store, and the amazing staff that is always willing to help. Also, it's very helpful that they have several stores throughout the city making it easier for us to shop for our pet.

Great store, great selection. Only feedback i have to offer is I wish more canidae products were available here. I prefer this brand, and there are a few different flavors available here but it's more aimed towards puppies or senior dogs.

Went here immediately after picking up a new puppy for supplies to get her situated at home. There was only one young staff member there, and it was starting to get busy. I was amazed at this young man's ability to help me and several other customers out at the same time. He answered my questions while pointing others in the right direction. He got me the dog food I was looking for and everything. Very impressive work ethic from a young hard worker. (Don't remember his name, otherwise I'd give him a shout-out)

The people who work here are really knowledgeable and helpful, but I feel like they don't have as much selection as I would like in products. I went to get a heater for my fish tank and the ones they had were okay, but not the greatest. Also, they don't carry some of the nutritional supplements I was wanting to purchase for my cats. They do make great ID tags for animals and they even carry smart tags. They seem to have a lot of products for dogs.

It has good products. The food I get my dogs is something I'm happy with since my dog has a sensitive stomach. The customer service is horrible tho. It's close to where I live but now I know I have another option by Sean Haggerty. Service there is friendly an approachable.

Edited 6/17/23- went into the Dyer store around 6/6:30ish because it is closer to my house and I had just gotten off work, had gone home first and thrown on shorts and sandals and put my hair up because it was almost 100 degrees outside, fed my dogs, and saw that tarantula was in "I need food mode" so ran out to get crickets for her, went to Pets Barn, as it is closer than going to Persmart and all I needed were a few(4-5) crickets for one Adult Tarantula...anyhow, I asked the associate at the register for large crickets, like a dollars worth, and I have a wallet full of change and decided to get rid of some of it as I thought that stores were always in need of change, so counted out 4 quarters and looked for a nickle, while I was looking the associate actually said to me, in what felt to be a very condescending tone, "Oooohh did someone not get paid yet..." and he gave me some weird look - I was appauled and not sure why, in that moment, I even bothered to explain myself, although let him know that $1 was not going to break me, that I just needed food for one Tarantula and that I have a wallet full of change and don't see the need to break a large bill for $1...I started to pull out the four hundred dollars of "walking around money" in my wallet although decided he was not worth the effort. Anyone working with the public should keep snide remarks such as this to themselves. Not sure why he thought, or better yet, felt the need to vocalize that I, an adult woman of color, who parked her luxury SUV outside of the glass store front which he works, and stood inside of at the counter where he watched me walk into the store, as the only customer, and vehicle in the parking lot - that I could not afford $1.04... this was offensive to me. For years I've purchased over-priced dog food, over priced collars, leashes, other puppy supplies, over-priced reptile supplies, as well as over-priced feeder prey and recently crickets, which are also more expensive than the competition's a few miles up the road, not to mention all of the local honey I've purchased from Pets Barn; to have an employee look at me and make an assumption about my finances, and to assertain that I could not afford $1 is a quite offensive,.. Please.Do.Better. Microaggressions such as this will result in me taking my business elsewhere - since I am perceived as a pauper becausw I have an occassional need for a few crickets, and nothing more, which apparently seems trivial enough to warrant the need to make snide remarks about my ability to afford $1...Original 5-star post from 2 years back - "Always such excellent customer service, and it smells so good all of the time! My dogs always love going into the store. Thank you for always being so welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable."

I get special dog food here. They offer added flavors that they mix in the kibble, with extra nutrients. Only 1 employee and he was busy. But he was courteous and moved quickly. 5 stars.
