I took him ONE time it was an emergency hair cut because my normal groomer was booked. ICould see her YANKING my dog all over the place and still has the audacity to tell me that he wouldn’t stay still?! My regular groomer tells me he’s really cooperative so for her to say this is ridiculous. His ENTIRE body is full of nicks. She was arguing with her co worker and was clearly annoyed before hand if she didn’t want to work on my dog she could have said no instead of abusing my poor dog.

Horrible service they shaved my dog down saying he was more matted than he was his could have easily been brushed out I l had just took him to get groomed 2 weeks ago they were just being lazy it’s funny how all the dogs in their had the same hair cuts all different breeds but that’s not it they called me to tell me they were cutting it shorter than requested and they were charging me more and asked if that was ok. I told them no I will pick him up and take him somewhere else then they toldMe they had already cut his hair instead of calling and asking me first horrible service never going here again

After searching different places and many disappointments, found this place. Nice customer service, they always ask if I am satisfied with the way they look, my dogs always look beautiful after. I recommend this place.

I took my little Shih-Tzu (coco) this morning because I work a couple suites down from them and left her there and picked her up a couple/few hours later and I couldn’t recognize her she looked AMAZING. Smelled good and everything and on top of that they but little bows on her ears and a bandana on her neck at no extra cost and she looked again AMAZING. I will definitely be bringing Coco back to this groomer. Price was also really good. I will recommend this place to others. Keep up the great work!!!

This location has reasonable prices and when I first started taking my baby, they would give her a beautiful teddy bear cut. However, recently when I took my dog, she came home with a swollen eye that took almost a week to heal and I wasn't satisfied with her haircut this time. I've noticed that the quality has gone down a bit but nevertheless this place is still good. Aside from that recent visit, they treat my dog extremely well, and my dog is not an easy dog to groom AT ALL, so I'm grateful that they deal with her so well. I'd give it a higher rating if it weren't for that one time that my dog came home with the swollen eye.

I wish I would’ve confronted this grooming salon several years ago. I know they were the reason my dog died. I had taken my beautiful Australian Shepard to get her yearly grooming. The day we picked her up she was so different. She stopped eating and would withdraw herself to corners of the house. She became so ill. I wanted so bad to find out what happened. I spent almost $1000 dollars at the vet running tests, giving her IVs. She was no longer eating or drinking. Within two weeks I had to put her to sleep. And I KNOW they caused her death. I wish I would’ve persisted the owner. I only asked once.. only ONE time what they did to her. They denied any claim I made. Please be cautious. I haven’t been here in years... but please don’t be afraid to ask what happened if you suspect any type of harm.

Do NOT take your dog to Cookie's Pet Grooming at 800 N. Zaragoza! I took my small dog in January because her fur was getting long as well as her nails. When we picked her up she seemed fine but when we started driving away she started whining and trying to rub her eyes with her paws. We called them back and asked what had happened, and they told us that they didn't know what I was talking about because she didn't cry or fight them at all. I knew that was a lie straight away because I have a very nervous dog, but decided just to go to the vet if she didn't let up the next day. When we went to the vet, she told us that this was common of grooming places that they aim the hair dryer directly at their eyes and burn part of it. She gave us a set of 7 drops that we had to give her in intervals of 2,4,6,12 hours every day and she had to check her every week. The vet said that she had ulcers in both her eyes and it was covered completely. She also told us that we may have to take both eyes out if she didn't get better. Thankfully, she did slowly get better after 4 months. I'm not ever leaving her alone while she's getting a haircut again.

We took our German Shepard and Husky to get a bath and trim. When we went to pick them up we found that they were completely shaved. Not only does it look bad but it’s dangerous for huskies to be without any fur. This new owner clearly doesn’t have any apparent knowledge about dog grooming. Do not recommend at all !

The new owners are very inexperienced! They're nothing compared to Mary, the previous owner (aka mommys pet grooming). I gave specific orders on how I wanted my dog groomed and it went completely disregarded. My dog came back very aggressive and looked to have a burn around the eye area and other parts of his body. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

Great experience they left my schnauzer beautiful and they were able to get the knots out of her hair so she could keep the skirt. Only place I'll bring my pups to.

OMG I had such a scare.. I took my dogs to bulldog park in Socorro it was Sunday morning.. when I got home after about an hr or so.. I was giving them belly rubs and they were all full of ticks😬😬🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😩😩😩..hate that park never going back....Long story short first thing Monday morning I called Cookies groomers.. she took my dogs right away and got rid of them .. I was so amazed and thankful for wat they did for me plus they good job on their cuts ..🙌🙌🙌🤝🤝TY so much you are greatly appreciated and the pups Thank you as well...

Took my 3 medium size dogs today without an appointment and the guy that washes them is awesome, they took care of my doggies, the smell great, and they even came with cute handanas. Also i go a discount. I recommend them.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT COME HERE. I took my medium sized dog into this location and I will never come here again. Her nails were trimmed horribly and she wasn’t cleaned properly. I also noticed a small piece of her ear is crusted with dried blood as if it was trimmed off and done WITHOUT CARE OR ATTENTION!! She was SHIVERING, TREMBLING, and PANTING 1 hour after she came home. She was not herself and seemed like she was in SEVERE PAIN and DISTRESS!! After a few hours and a quick check she is now doing better. I am so disappointed, I wish I could give no stars!!

What I liked is that they do house calls and clipped your dog's nails at your home. I had an expirance where my dog Tysy was sick and too weak to take her in to the shop and the owner came to clipped her nails she was very professional and very nice. Unfortunately Tysymy dog she's no longer with me she passed on. I do highly recommend this place and I do appreciate them making house calls. Thank you very much for your service

I brought my dog in before Christmas and yesterday we noticed he wasn't feeling well. Today I took him to the vet and he said he had a fever, he said it looked like they showered him with cold water and that is what made him sick. It really pisses me off to know that I took my dog thinking he would be taken care of and 2 days later he is feeling sick. I can definitely say I will never take him there again.

I've taken my 9 dogs in to them, 3 dogs at a time. Apparently doing this would give me a discount. 1st time i took 6 of my dogs that are out door dogs 3 at a time of course, they were pretty matted. I was charged approx. $98. Not bad, right? Well this is my 5th or 6th round going. This time they charged me $130. I told them wow you went up, the lady told me because they were very matted. That's a lie, we are keeping up with our dog's hair now and for her to say that, really upset me. Then to boot, she brings all 3 at the same time. She put them down and they start rumning around. She turns right around and just goes to the back. Then some man happened to come in and leaves the door wide opened. 2 of my dogs could have darted out. Maybe I'm just upset right now or over reacting but every time I've gone it's one thing or the other with them. I don't know.......😕

These people are extremely unprofessional and almost killed my dog! First, she was left under the dryer for so long that my poor dog was not able to open her eyes for a few days. Her eyes were almost closed and very watery. Then, once we got home we noticed her mouth and stomach full of blood. On the way home she had been licking herself and opened up a deep wound that she did not have prior to taking her to Mommies Grooming. We quickly rushed her to the ER. The Vet let us know that It was obvious my baby girl had been delivaterely and deeply cut with Scissors!! Even worse, they tried to hide the evinced by literally super gluing her stomach. They could have caused a severe infection or even killed her!! My poor baby had several stitches, and to this date is traumatized! I got ahold of the owner and she lied that my baby had only been scratched with the clippers. Yah right !! They didn't even care to let me know they inflected a "scratch" on her. Please do not ever take your pets there if you value their lives.

Will not bring my dog here anymore he got a ear infection both times he went and comes back with cuts, ears uneven I know ear infections are common but when I take him to another groomer they are more professnsional and he comes back fine he’s used to it , and then they charge me with a fee for his behavior, won’t be returning

Horrible place, sent my dog to get get groomed. He went out the door and was lost for a week. They said they where going to help me find them and they stopped helping after 2 days. A place like this cannot be allowed to keep doing business.

I stopped taking my weimeriner to this location a while back. He was mistreated. Came home with a swollen eye and was keeping to himself for the day. Pet smart is the best and lower prices.

OK the prices have increased exponentially The more I go to this place and on top of that they corelate with the increased sloppiness of their work (don't get me wrong they still make a darn good job), if I had to guess I would say they are simply To busy for their own good I would recommend either getting a second location to lessen the work load or To hire more staff.
