Oh but don't worry, because by the looks of it, it seems like management has adopted a new method to stop shoplifters..randomly asking customers to empty out their pockets and embarrassing you in front of all other patrons. I visited with the family for a kind of fun afternoon, breaking from the norm. There are deals to be had and tons of stuff to rummage through. BUT, the experience has a lot to do with the people who are around you. If you are looking for something to do, you should stop by and look around. But be prepared to find lots of opened and empty boxes, and trash everywhere. And, as I found out for food, be sure to check the expiration date.

I'm frustrated after trying to buy Philips outdoor spotlights, only to be informed they're not available due to being too expensive and will be transferred to another store. It's baffling to find them on the shelves if they're not for sale. The staff, who couldn't clarify the policy, were impolite, leaving me dissatisfied and ending the conversation hastily.

Cool place to go and fund different things. Over all an interesting place if you're willing to stay and really look for things. Deals can be great compared to Amazon and other places.

I thought this store was kind of fun. I knew what to expect going into it, so our hopes weren’t super high on finding anything super nice or cool but it was a fun time. Bought a few silly things just because they were only $6

Good for customers, but never ever ever work here. The staff are racist and will not pay you on payday. You can set up a direct deposit, but it's just for show. I never once received money there they just gave me checks every 3 weeks that took another 4 days to process.

Found a lot of great items for the awesome price of $2. This place is my passer time. I have gone to all Black Fridays stores all over town. I personally think the northeast and West side have the best selection. But of course it varies everywhere.

BEWARE!!! Make sure to count how many items and total them up before going to the registers. They ALWAYS overcharge by 1 or 2 items. Only had 4 items and the total was ridiculous. After I said the total was wrong, the cashier went and removed the extra charge without even having to double check or recount the items. Amazing how they always manage to overcharge, but NEVER EVER "accidentally" undercharge.

It is sad when companies become successful and then start to take customers for granted. This has become the case with Black Fridays. After hearing from numerous people on "policy" changes in purchases without notifications or postings. This company is putting limits on certain items in certain days on whims. They have lost my business and if impacted by the masses, perhaps this practice will stop wasting people's time and gas. Perhaps give an opportunity to El Ramate their competition or other start ups. It is disappointing to have to write this over something so trivial but so is the nature of customer service and the consequences when consumers are taken for granted. This has happened at several locations and witnessed to me on the West side location.

It is what you make of it. Don't expect to find any life changing deals. If you dislike going to Ross & Burlington, because how disorganized those stores are, then you'll want to avoid this place bc it's not organized at all. Basically it's bins and bins full of Amazon returns. Don't expect to find any handyman tools, they either won't be there or they won't work. There's a no returns policy.I wanted to debunk one of the reviews that mentioned mice. No there's no mice running around the store. But I do recommend you wear disposable gloves when you go through the bins.I do want to confirm another review about expired foods. I went here on 2/20/23, and they had a box of 5-packs of pb wafers that expired in Dec 2022.

First time here… I agree with some of the reviews, it’s a hit or miss. I can’t really say much about the staff. They really!!! Need to learn that they’re in a work environment and not in the warehouse where they can curse at each other or talk about what they’re gonna do to there girlfriend or to each other. I really don’t think anyone wants to know how they feel about the manager! It’s a first and last for me.

Register employees decide if they will sell you a good deal based on if it open or not or too good of a deal, even if it’s sealed and un-open.Tables are too full to look for anything good.Tables have MICE, dead and alive!Tables are overloaded on Mon, Tues and Wednesday because they start cleaning for Friday.Found a CLOSED box of double AA batteries, they would not sell to me, because battery’s are sold individually in packages and it’s too good of a deal.Food is expired and has MICE in it.Not enough shopping carts.Tables get blocked one one side preventing the ability to look on the other side without getting YELLED at, it’s junk chill out.Tables

This place was better on the west side than on the east side. Went on a Wednesday shortly after it opened. I found some good items. The place for packed really quick and the checkout line can take over and hour to make it to checkout

The prices went up and the quality of mdse went down. Its all returned merchandise, most of it Amazon's, broken, incomplete, and non working. Yet often superb deals can be found. Just luck of the Irish... I suppose.I wish that customers put everything back the way they found it rather than destroying it...come on people...show some respect to the store and other customers.Staff does its best to fix it and is always courteous.

I’m not sure who the manager is that people keep mentioning in their reviews but if it’s the same lady I’m thinking of then I’m glad she’s assertive.This store is chaos from the moment the doors open to try and find good deals. People will rip open and throw boxes around without a care just because they don’t have to clean it up. She makes sure no one cuts in line in the morning and make sure everything runs as smooth as it can. If you complain about that, then you’re probably part of the problem.

I love Black Friday I usually find great deals. This week I found a box of 200 plastic powder free gloves for 10.00 quite a bargain for a hairdresser.Darn I live 623 miles away if not I would be in this store everyday.Better than Goodwill shopping.

You find a lot of bargains here. You walk in and grab an extra large bag or cart to put your items in. One day items will be $15, then another day it will be $1. You just have to dig through each table to find something you want. They have clothes, food items, electronics, Christmas items, gardening items, books, items to assemble, etc. They have alot of phone cases too. I found items there, valued elsewhere at $15-$50 and I paid only $1- $4 . Some of the items found here are items from Amazon that were ordered and returned. The place is a bit dirty, but just be prepared to do some table diving to find your treasures that someone else didn't want. Some of the staff is friendly and helpful, others can be a bit rude. Just depends which location you shop at.

If you are going to go for good stuff make sure to go on (obviously) Friday.Because by Sunday all you have left are expired food items, empty boxes that once has product, and damaged/missing items. There are some semi decent items in-between all the junk but usually it's stuff that was deep under other stuff the resellers already took.

Tuesday when I went and everything was $2. All tables looked like trash bins. Empty box, looss items that were missing all parts. And with no refund or returns. So if you like to buy trash go for it. Certain areas of the store were block also where better items were located.

Rude personnel, the business information in google states they close at 7:00, I arrived at 6:40 and the lady on front told me the store closes in 2 minutes in a reminiscing manner

If you come here, you wanna plan accordingly. Make sure you know the times and the prices of each day. The first day of the week is the most expensive, but they mostly have the best items that day. The first hours of each day are a bit organized, but later on in the day, everything just seems to be thrown all over the place. Around the later hours, it hard to find the boxes for which item goes where. It is a cool experience though!

My first time there was on the dollar day. I found a Black& Decker handheld vacuum. I was a little sceptical but it was a dollar so it's worth the risk. All it needed was a charger which I purchased online for $4, and guess what it works great. Now towards the end I can say that the deep tables where they put the goods get a little to ripped apart. A few tables had a open hand cream, and one had a paint, it safe to say that people had opened up the items to get a better look. Regardless I scored a $45 B&D Lithium Vacuum for a $1... Black Fridays is a interesting find where curiosity and functionality and odd ball stuff all come into play.
