I don't go out much since the pandemic started, by this time I had only been to this big lots twice. Both times that I have gone, all the sale associates that helped were very kind and polite. I wish I could remember her name but one of them was one of the assistant store managers and she provided great customer service.

If you haven't shopped here, go take a look.They have seasonal items that you won't find anywhere else from patio furniture, pool accessories, garden accessories and food items.This is to say the least, sign up for rewards card and you will receive good discounts, one other thing they offer military discounts(10%)

Ok discount store, decent prices, summer of the staff are friendly some can't be bothered. It's hit or miss whether or not they'll have what you're looking for and whether or not it will be a good price. The staff isn't inclined to help you. I asked for summertime and was told they don't have it by one clerk. Then I found out myself. Asked for something else was told where to look but it wasn't there, asked another clerk and they said they don't carry it. Again, found out myself. I think they buy out lots of things so the inventory is constantly changing. If you buy pet food check the expiration date because the packages I saw were all expired which in this day and age is probably a very dangerous game to play and the vet bills and pain inflicted would not be worth the few bucks you might save. However, they did have a nice authentic of bowls and toys and leashes, etc at very reasonable prices. I also found a wading pool when everywhere else was sold out for the year. This store is probably best to just go browse not to take a shipping list or look for specific things. Just go browse and if you see something grab it because if it's sold it's gone.

Big lots is so nice always have some good prices and everything especially home decor but they also have food like chips and different kinds of edibles and they also have some cool selection of small electronics and personal goods Big lots as always my go-to when I'm in a hurry as they have everything from pasta to salt and even have milk and bread🔥🕵️

The store on N. Mesa has always been one of my favorites, I guess I like shopping with time to actually look at stuff without alot of people trying to hurry by you every one to two minutes. Today I bought a five drawer dresser Signature by Ashley at a bargain price like $329 bucks plus an extra $70 same day quick delivery, can't beat it. In about an hour and a half I had the new dresser at my place. One happy customer 😎👌🛒

Great place and fantastic deals if you look around - only problem has been THE STORE MANAGER ALWAYS SEEMS TO HAVE ROTTEN ATTITUDE! My friends have said the same so they just avoid that place alltogether - he acts upset if we ask for help or where something is - aside from this, Big Lots is still a great value and most other locations are great to shop at! We avoid this one but if we are ever out of town or in a different area of the city, we always drop in to big lots - AWESOME DEALS!

I don't know if the cashier was having a bad day or what, but there were no carts and I asked for help getting a cart for my kids and was told someone needed to get them. I thought someone was getting some, but no, she just stood there doing nothing until I had to take my family outside to get our own cart. There were workers milling about the store doing next to nothing while the parking lot is full of carts and the customers have none. Very poor management. Then the same lady was unbelievably rude when I checked out. I don't know her, but with this horrible experience, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I only gave it a one star because at least I was allowed to go in the store. No one acknowledges you, no one even asks if you need assistance and worst of all, I was about to ask a male associate for assistance and he pretended he didn't hear me and I spoke in a good loud tone of voice and was only about 5 ft away from him. Also, your cashiers are too busy chatting with each other to even acknowledge a customer when they walk in or walk out of the store. Fortunately, you have other locations that I usually go to, and we'll probably continue to do so. Your location could learn from the Montana location about great customer service. I know all this is due to poor management. Because I have worked in retail for many, many years, your manager may want to speak to the manager at the Montana location to learn from him or her and to see if he or she is able to train the associates at this location, (Mesa and Resler), in excellent customer service skills.

I wouldn't even give them one star except O have too and the guy who worked with us was very nice. Other than that I would give them the worst review.Do NOT buy there couches!!!!We purchased one and the total cost came to like $1200. They sold us A BROKEN FRAME... THEY WILL NOT RETURN IT. THEY DID nothing to help us..We did however use the progressing leasing. They are trying to get us another couch but they are awful and not the same couch or the same quality. Not happy..

The manager went above and beyond to h onor an outdated sale price listed at a different store. He was courteous even helped us load items we purchased into our van. Great service and extremely friendly.Highly rec ommend this store.

Supposed to be BOGO half on the second item. Well as the cashier rang us up. Our total was over $80. So we went over everything and found out she didn't give us the half off sale prices. Still happy though as after everything we bought came out to like 40 in the end.

I have always had a thing for Big Lots but the one on North Mesa across from Albertsons is my favorite. All the people there are very helpful their aisles are not too crowded and they have a great selection. Prices are great.

Store is inconsistent, with how they treat customer’s and the methods used to control sales of high demand products. Very poor management, very poor. The store was dirty and somewhat unkept, staff was rude and not helpful and manager was walking around trying to look busy. I would not recommend this store to anybody. If need to shop Big Lots the store in the NorthEast part of town is well worth the trip much better customer service, very clean store with friendly and helpful staff. Well worth the trip...

Not much on helping the customer I was looking for a suction cup for My radar detector I was pointed to the back of the store I went and spent several minutes looking but I didn't find one so I went back up front and th same employee was talking to I think was a local person I waited a few minutes after tht it's like I was a bother to Her to help Me lookWe ran to c if there was one She told Me no after tht She left running to the front of th store without do U need anything else not a thank U or nothing..... Rude I left not nothing..... Is tht what a person gets paid for to help Consumers.....

Prices too high, not a good selection of merchandise. Their food is over priced and some look very old! Their make up is old stuff and you can get them much cheaper in Walmart or Target!
