I'm writing this review as a professional associate of Bryan Lowrey and his staff at the Sutherlands down in Dickinson. His professional courtesies reflect on all Sutherlands including out in El Campo too. I find them to be the best examples I know of Grace under Pressure; courtesy under fire, and unfailing friendliness at all times. Bryan cares about his customers -whether they be vendors such as myself - or clients seeking every kind of tool or gift item; lumber or project supplies for any do it yourselfer . Bryan Lowrey and Sutherlands Dickinson are simply the best. And I know that speaks well for the good folk at the Sutherlands in El Campo too. Charles McCullough

Oh the selection! It's like the love child of a hardware and dollar store, that's half nursery to plants and baby chics/ducklings. With plenty of staff and variety, spending money was waaaaaay too easy. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟👍 👍 👍

The girls there at the El Campo location have been awesome. I have had to redo my whole house thanks to Harvey and I have purchased not only building materials but also furniture and kitchen cabinets. The prices are reasonable and they are so friendly and easy to work with.

Most of the time the check out help is good. Today I was buying boards and fasteners and I told them it was farm use. The young lady ask me exactly what it was for. She and the other girl decided it was not exempt from tax for farm use. Number one it is none of their business what it’s for. Second this was like calling me a liar. We have a valid card for agriculture use tax exempt purchases. Thirdly, when we sign the exemption, we are excepting the liability for the tax exemption. I was burned up. I just walked out and went down the road.

A bit pricey but they're in a small town compared to Houston or Victoria. You will find what you're looking for because the plus of being in a small town is they're more organized and you get in and out quick.

When they tell you that the delivery price is $ 25.00 what that really means is $31.00. Because someone has to unload it. It should be added into the total from the beginning . Delivery = $31.00. Friendly service was nice.

Went there multiple times in one day to get Mulch for flower beds and wasn't helped once to load it. It wasn't just a few bags either, but rather an entire pallet (65). Its not my job to load it all after I buy it. I thought thats what the workers were for.
