Valley Original, it’s been awhile since I’ve been here. I used to always visit this place as a kid with family, now as an adult I still come to this place for meat 🥩. They have great selection and good prices. I couldn’t count how many types of wings they carried.

We are first time winter Texans. We are from Hawai'i. A friend at our resort told us about Vera's King of Meats at E. University. We have been coming here since November '23 and the quality, variety and price of meats can't be beat. The customer service is wonderful! We have been telling others in our resort about Vera's. We are freezing some steaks to take north. We'll see you in October!

Called looking for Grass-fed Grass-finished meat. The person on the phone said it’s for certain cuts, okay cool. Pulled up and when I asked for the meat, they looked at me like I was crazy… and then started telling me that that’s what all cows eat only. I then explained that they are fed grass and finished with grain but I’m not too fluent in Spanish, overall disappointing customer service but decent meat, just not what I was looking for.

All I have to say is if you haven't been here to get the chicken wings and meat you've been missing out on this gem.. went today and bought 5 different flavors of chicken wings and wasnt disappointed at all the quality and flavoring of the wings are out of this world got 20lbs for a very decent price and every one of my family members loved the flavors they have earned many customers today for that alone then all the gentlemen in the back helping you out go above and beyond to help you out and get you what u need very attentive and the cleanliness of this establishment is A1 if you haven't come here you need to come i guarantee you wont go anywhere else..........

Best place in Edinburg to get your meat, hands down. The selection is plentiful and the price is great. I usually stop by for steaks and the ribeyes are some of the best I have had around here.

Amazing specials. Bought a lot of steaks of different kinds. Strips tomahawks tbones chicken and was expecting to pay $300+ was only $200 I was very surprised. Coustomer for life here.

Recently won a gift certificate for meat at this location. And although I do not live in the area, I would definitely come back. The customer service was fast and friendly, I don't remember the man's name who helped me, but he was extremely helpful and welcoming. And the gift certificate package with meat was delicious, and seasoned just right! 😋

Meat here used to be good. Paid for a whole marinated chicken almost $9 and it came out like a quail. Disappointed and now that it done, it’s super salty. Salty to the point that we can’t eat it. I’m just going to feed it to the dog

The fajita is excellent and best price out of any store in south Texas.The jalapeño cheese sausage is good just not as spicy as San Manuel. Still good over excellent service and great products

This the third time I get meet that is rotten please educate staff how to properly handle food so that it does not get contaminated! And yes I have called in all three occasions and I can’t drive back just to get credit!

Hadn't been here ina long timeHave been going to Aguilar'sRegularly but I stopped by to look aroundAnd found some chuck ground hamburger patties and a michelada mix. Burgers came out delicious. The michelada was also great with the beer I was drinking.

The meat selection and prices are very good. The Menudo they sell on weekends is pretty tasty. The Barbacoa however is lacking taste and was not to my liking, there are definitely other places that have better barbacoa.

Love the meat here. Only problem is sometime the music is either to loud or the people working the meat section cant hear. I asked for them to season the meat and they gave it to me unseasoned. When I told him I asked for it seasoned he acted like it was my fault it wasnt seasoned. When I clearly asked for it seasoned. But since he was all goofing around with the coworkers he paid no attention to what I said

Ok so they just opened Donna location. I figured let me check it out. Bad choice. Bad service for having a so called grand opening. Cashier didn't Acknowledge my presence. Manager was right there next to her training her manager didn't even acknowledge me as well didn't say thank you. Then my bag ripped right in front of the manager And she just turned around and walked away wow. 1st and last time there.

Was Great at one point in time but as far as the meat market their meat personal are always fighting among them selves this is the second time I witness several gentlemen arguing to the point that they ignore customers and leave them hanging very unethical when you are paying top dollar. will not be patronizing this location any longer.
