There is an amazing little woman behind the registers, who is extremely fast, and efficient! She's friendly, and is always moving and working! The store is very clean, and is wheelchair accessible as well!

It's an ok place to stop & rest.I wish the locals & store employees, especially the owners, would help the stray dogs & cats that frequent the truck stop. It's heartbreaking seeing them in bad conditions & no one helps get them the care they need.I feel bad for them & feed them when I can. It's awful to see them roaming & starving, afraid of attention. I only posted 1 pic of a dog I've seen since last summer that is still frequent there, but I've also seen many more & hope that one day someone will care enough to save her, the others & be able to get them the care they deserve.Please do more to take care of those lost souls, they have no voice of thier own to better thier situation for themselves ✌️💜😥Edited Review 01/30/2024I took the dog in the pic home after trying for many months to gain her trust. She's safe & getting all the love & care she needs.The truck stop could spend a few bucks to fix the parking lot. Alot of deep potholes. It's not the best, but not the worst.Most of the employees are nice & do what they can. Some don't, even when you ask for simple things like paper towels in the washroom... not sure why they don't use the huge grass area for parking since they rarely maintain it... they also still have a bunch of stray cats they don't care about the strays or try to help them, typical in Texas I guess. 🙄

Kudos to management and the team at this TA, I wished other TAs would run the same way. The people at the counter are very professional, the parking is clean( no trash all over), and the restrooms are very clean and smell nice.👍👍

Carlos the machanic was really professional and nice. He told me all the little issues that he seen with my truck and kept a possible attitude the entire time. Even with his co workers. He was really professional and had A1 customer service. Would have no complaints returning here coming here.

The night crew for the service department is great!! They took care of my Kenworth Cabover (known as The Emerald Queen). If highly recommend getting work done by them. I will be back for more service when I need it. If you need work done on your truck or trailer and you're in the area head to the guys here. Tell the guys that The Leprechaun sent you and they night shift guys will take good care of you!! Thank you all again!! I will see you again!!!

Truck broke down about 1 in morning. Guys were busy but loaned me tools so I could repair myself. Gave them caps for helping me out. RECO SPECIAL SERVICES. They were all friendly and happy to help..

Stopped here to get something to drink. Their 32oz sodas were $2.15!! Store was not busy, but it looked like a dump. Male cashier was friendly. I can not recommend this place.

Took 40 minutes to buy fuel. No customers in store, 2 people behind register said i could not use a Valero card at a Valero station, had to get manager, wouldnt you know they do take valero cards at that valero station..took way too long.. please train your staff

On Friday 12/2/2022 I walked in and seen the deli clerk come around the counter and walked in pajamas and went straight to put on gloves and didn’t wash his hands before hand . Did not put on an apron and was in pajamas and a cardigan. The tortilla presser is dirty and can be seen by the glass while waiting in line. I’m a regular customer that comes in once a week or so. This is not the first time I seen the deli clerk and sometimes even the manager in pajamas and crocks . Very unprofessional . Makes me question the cleanliness and what type of manager is running this place at the TA in Edinburg.

This is an older truck stop but as it's been said before, the employees are friendly and everything is kept clean. The showers are small but clean. The restaurant is a Country Pride with daily specials and a very friendly staff.The most important thing for a truck driver though, very rarely is there NOT available space to park. (Even if they do keep expanding their paid parking.)I'm here most every week and have yet to see the lot completely full.

This is a good location to relax when you're coming in from up north. It's mainly for truck drivers but regular motorists are always welcomed. Restrooms are exceptionally clean. I couldn't get a receipt from the gas pumps but it happens. No negative comments here.

Absolutely the most disgusting TA I’ve been at. The women’s restroom has a horrible order from not being cleaned properly and there is black mold on the ceilings coming from the air vents. The showers are even worse. I took the shortest shower of my life and tried to not touch anything. Save your money and go across the street to loves. This place should be ashamed

I am a TA patron. It seems as though the t age are getting worse. What start with the restaurant country pride this is the only reason I'm giving this ta 1 star. I ordered the chicken fried chicken when it come to the table it was real small I told the waitress I was not paying $13 for that she took it back and took it to the manager and they tried to made it right. when my food come back to the table the second time the first small piece of chicken was still on the plate and they added another small piece, my mashed potatoes and gravy was cold,now on to the convenience store side of the TA it was dirty and nasty and the bathrooms were dirty as well.I grabbed a bottle of chocolate milk out of the cooler and it was sticky and slimy I put it back on even had to go wash my hands. I will not stop here again.

I've been to TA all over the country. This is one of the worst. Oh it's clean and fairly well kept. But the downside, staff is very Curt. Often outright rude. Terrible service. Today I waited five minutes at the taco counter then went across the street to Loves for food. I left my truck parked at TA and on my return I tried to use the CAT scale. I pressed the call button three times, waiited three and a half minutes (far too long for that kind of service. Didn't get so much as a Be with you in a moment. The diner is horrible. Food under or overcooked. Stale tasting. Dry chewy meats. Steaks that are clearly frozen too cold and too long.From now on Loves or Flying j will get most of my business in Edinburgh.

The food was good. It could have been a touch warmer when it reached the table, but over all very tasty, and a bit pricey. Plan on dropping a $20.00 per person for a sit down before the tip.

I give the lady behind the counter five stars, such a wonderful person, unfortunately Montemayor the lazy mechanic just left my truck there and then she had to come tell me that she has someone coming in about 30minutes later! I don’t think it’s right to just get it in and just leave, such a low standard of his work ethic, again his name is Montemayor the lazy mechanic?

Ordered the chopped steak and eggs, the eggs were good the chopped steak was so greasy your cant eat it. The server was slow at best and my wife and I are the only ones in here , not like its busy.

This shop was awesome. They fixed a difficult ABS problem in 2 hours, but the line to get into the shop was very long (8 hrs). The technicians and everyone working in restaurant and store were very professional and friendly.

I rate high because I'm a trucker and see many stops. For me it's about helpful staff and good food. Parking lot for truckers could be redone, but then that means raising prices more.Simplicity is better. Old school.Love this truck stop. It's peaceful and I get good sleeps here.These people will always be offering a smile and great hospitality.Thks Edinburgh
