I knew what I wanted, so my visit should have been quick. When inside, there was no one around to help me. I found the area that I needed, but still no one around to help me. I'm 70 and use a cane. I hollered a few times. Finally, I ran a girl down. She didn't seem to know much about the products I needed. I got one of five and a discounted bottle of dog shampoo. My husband was angry with me. The temperature outside was hot. There were four dogs in the car plus the one I had. He tried keeping the car running with the A/C on, but the car engine got hot. I had to go back in with no help at the door. The girl just stood behind the register counter and watched me struggle with my dog, cane, purse, and door. She did the same as I went out the door to get another dog to fit a harness on. And when I left again, I had no respect for a customer or an elderly person, cane or not. She watched me struggle with the door, my purse, purchase, and my cane as I left. My dog was already in the car when I was going to switch for another.I hate that I didn't get her name. She was one of the worst employees that I have ever come acrossI could go on ....

Petco has everything you could want and a little bit more. They sell; fish,hamsters,snakes,turtles,ducks, parrots as well as live bait. All types-styles doggie clothes and toys. Collars ,chains,you name it . All types dog food wet and dry. Not sure what the doggie station at the back was for but it's there lol. Petco is at the corner of a very busy 4way intersection. The entrance is on CC Woodson Road . Entrance is handicap friendly. Place is kid and pet friendly.

Poor customer service and they don’t honor their money back guarantee. Save your money and just shop at Pam’s Pets.Bought four male guppies was told they had a 30 day money back guarantee as long as you bring the fish and a sample of water. 2 out of the four didn’t make it less than a week. Took a water sample and the two fish back. The tech said was water was good and let me choose two fish to replace the two I brought in. Then the lady at the register wanted me to pay more money even though it was an exchange. I ended up walking out of the store because they wouldn’t honor their money back guarantee.

The store itself is great! However, Lori, with glasses, is awful! Everytime I go into the store she is so RUDE! However, if my husband comes into the store with me she is not even the same person! Funny how that works!I bought fish yesterday, 3 died, all I wanted was an even exchange. I brought 3 dead ones, I just need 3 live ones! EVEN EXCHANGE!She told me different and said I OWED for the live fish, when I BROUGHT three dead fish.My kids were sad because were left empty handed because of her. She has terrible customer service. 👎All I wanted was an even change and I could have gone on my merry way!I much rather just go to Abilene than deal with her again! She’s rude 👏 every👏 single 👏time! 😞😩

Not a bad experience. I was checking to see what breeds of chick's they had. They had 2 breeds. 1- Columbian Wyandotte & 2- Cuckoo Marans. After a little research, I found that the Cuckoo Marans do NOT tolerated heat! This part of the country , Texas in general, chickens need to be very hardy- heat & cold! We have the extremes, often close together in time!Please do research on the chick's that are being sold....especially if your coups are not cooled or heated!

Seems overpriced. You can go down to TJ Maxx or BEALLS. maybe even a thrift store and Facebook marketplace to get better prices and stuff. I’ll have to go price some dog food but I go to Walmart. The only difference is that you can get birds and different types of animals there.

I'm so thankful to have Petco in our community. Laurie is always so helpful and pleasant. I appreciate all Petco does locally, not to mention the great selection of dog and cat food 💜

False advertising and rude management.Went to the counter with one of these halters (small) expecting to pay $19 (+tax) for it... NOPE! When she said my bill would be over $32 I was blown away... brought up the fact that the tag said it was 19.Then the manager got involved and BLAMED ME for "NOT PAYING ATTENTION" even though their employees are the ones who put them in the wrong place.... but you know the real kicker? She reached back there and splayed apart the prices and sure enough, the actual price was hidden behind the price on top (kinda like a little price booklet)... like I was supposed to know that?!? Well, I took my happy butt to walmart and payed half what they were asking for almost the exact same dog halter. NOT WORTH MY TIME.

Less then pleased with the service. If a customer states they're experienced and have multiple 13in koi, then don't keep questioning them on what kind of set up they have. Me and my husband have come into the store multiple times for filter material. But it's recently felt like an interrogation any time we try and buy new fish.

Awful service. Stood at the fish tanks and searched the fish aisles for 15 minutes. 3 employees standing right beside me with complete disregard. Definitely too busy to be bothered by paying customers. Very sad a brand new store has no customer service standards.. they will be out of business soon in this small community. I have spent $4000 in the last two months on fish supplies and will be driving back to Abilene for help even though petco is my local fish store.

The store looked great but the Mgr was useless and inconsiderate. I was there yesterday around 4 or so and waiting to checkout and leave and i'm right there at register waiting for my turn and after she checks out the customer in front of me she then grabs her phone goes over to a buggy with stuff in it, then starts chatting with another employee that's also checking ppl out but the cashier has been dealing with this customer since i walked in. I waited for like 20-25 min, threw my stuff down and walked out. I've never felt so unwanted at a store. If you can't do your job and set good examples for others, then maybe find another job that doesn't deal with the public.

Neat store, very different from abilene's petco.Store was clean and well organized, pets appeared healthy and well taken care of.Reptile prices were excellent, although their chick's were significantly higher than competitors.We did not make a purchase but did interact with a few staff members who all seemed to be knowledgeable and in good spirits.I'm not local, but would happily trade there when I'm in the area.

They have a good selection of supplies for different types of animals. They sell many different animals. The staff is friendly and helpful. The self wash is a great service.

It is nice to have such a variety of animals to choose from albeit ofc it is a bit pricey; the app and payment plans can help if you have a true bank account to sign up for plans and discount deals.

I absolutely love that I can get 35 lbs of cat litter for $12! I use a lot as I change the litter boxes every 2 weeks

I didn't buy anything, just got a puppy and wanted to check it out. Looks good and fully stocked. Doesn't have the brand and type food I'm feeding my puppy right now.
