Incompetent just like the rest of the base. I tried to return a 2-day old electronic with the packaging and receipt. The cashier and "manager" made up a return policy that isn't stated on the receipt or any signs. They said I had to contact the manufacturer. Never had problems with returns at any other department store. Prices and selection aren't even competitive. I'd rather spend my money literally anywhere else. Dyess' reputation holds strong. Train your people. What a joke.

The best price and discount I do not pay for taxis and I love it, it is very nice and big, many strange things that you can. Finding that temptation makes you buy the best store

Times have really changed since I was active duty…BX is a ghost town today, They cut back on so much merchandise…We don’t see any selection of red wine anymore either… Prices are still competitive overall and you can usually do good on electronics… They cut many employees and now have self checkout 😢😢 Employees they do have are very helpful

The workers are always nice and helpful. It is too bad the government doesn’t pay them more or give discounts to the military service personnel. In the old days the gas prices were much lower than town as was the food in the commissary. The service people are less than 1% of the USA population and the only defense from countries that wish us ill.

The dyess exchange does not care about their employees or military. If you observe how managment treats their employees, it's disgusting. I have had nothing short of disappointment from a few people from managment staff to the point we try not to shop there if possible and we closed our starcards as well. It's very sad.

Edit: They added self checkout and the experience of coming here is now vastly improved. Always one register open, and always takes the line being backed up to 15 customers and 20 minutes gone by to get a second register open.

Such a nice place to shop. Staff is always great and helpful. Got a visitors pass and it only took 10 minutes. Super fast!!

I came from San Antonio to look at the weapons and ammo, but they are closed Sunday. We went to the food court and everything was closed. Inside the BX we looked at a few things, most did not have a price tags. We left very disappointed.

Although this exchange is tiny compare to most other bases, I still enjoyed shopping here. I think they have a nice selection of a little bit of everything. They tend to be a little bit cheaper than other places. They do have a website that offers a ton more if you are looking for something specific. I've never interacted with anyone before so I can't speak on that but the place is always super clean and organized. Well stocked and priced. I recommend here. It's small but it works.

If you have tattoos or an ethnicity other than white I suggest you stay away from this place as you will be targeted and accused of theft even after nothing has been found on you. It's absolutely awful in 2022 and on a military installation to be treated this way. Shame on you and your loss prevention employee.

The main reason giving a lower rating is because of the time they close. 6pm is such an early time. I work on the other side of town and have a difficult time trying to get to shop there.

I arrived on the day that most of the employees were rearranging areas and restocking shelves. Offers were made to help me locate what i wanted. I was impulse shopping. That does not require help but room. I use a scooter. I couldn't get down the aisles with it or my walker. Friendly, helpful people. Just a bad choice of days to shop.

This is a gr8 place to shop if you are in the military. The Exchange is very nice and has a food court inside. There's even a travel agency there. You can buy anything from clothes to electronics at the Exchange. Too bad I'm not in the military though. Thank you for your service!

Small but clean and well organized AAFES Exchange and food court. CHEESE steaks, pizza, subs, donuts. It’s nice to have since the base is a bit remote. You can walk here from Base Lodging. Clothes are a bit expensive, poor selection.

Limits on choice. Cost often higher than in the community. Other than convenience, pointless. Still, that little bit of convenience counts sometimes. Plus, it's clean, staff is friendly. Often far more helpful than those working similar jobs in the community.

The tickets and tours area needs help. I made a trip here solely to pick up event tickets, and upon arrival I was told the ONLY one that can provide tickets is in a meeting and won't be here for a while. Very upsetting. The young airman related she is only there to help answer questions and can't do anything with event purchasing or tickets.

Needs more counters open, looks like a graveyard, sad to see our base store going downhill. Needs a new general manager, needs new life...even the food court is sad. Just a few people here or there. This isn't how it should be, and its been that way for a wile now.

Hi. I impressed that you followed up with a response to my railing. As requested, the hours of operation are at times not convenient for me. I respectfully request that the AAFES be open until 7pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends.

Not much in the way of deals anymore... very competitive prices off base. Not many people there so no issue with crowds. The gun counter is going through the same issue as Academy... limited on everything.
