Pet Village is local in Duncanville that has a little bit of everything for dogs, rabbits, birds, gerbils/hamsters and fish.They especially specialize in all things fish. If you have questions, they have answers. On a whim we bought a small tank from them and have been through everything with them. They supported us through our Ick crisis and even paired fish to coexist with the beta. Those were crazy times.They also groom. I bring my toy poodle here for a perfect cut. I love that they don't shear him. It's all scissor work. ✂️ My boy gets so many compliments too. They are reasonably priced too. Also they are fast. Drop your dog off early and they'll fix em up early.Can't go wrong here. Support a local small business and with Pet Village you will get excellence!

Hands down best fish store in the area.Great selection of a variety of fish. Fair prices. This is very much an "old school" styled pet store really with a good selection of birds and rodents but I am always here for the fish.They have a decent stock of Saltwater fish and crustaceans but not as well stocked as freshwater fish. They have a good selection of peaceful schooling and community fish for the casual keep and a great selection of C/A, S/A and African Cichlids and puffers and other rare and exotic fish. They usually have a good selection of rocks to choose from but have no coral or live plants.

Been going here for years for my reptile/cat needs. Very friendly staff with an awesome blue/gold Macaw who I like to pretend Is a General Manager.Don't hesitate to shop here for anything pet/aquarium related.

We loved going to this place! We go around to visit different aquarium and pet stores in the DFW area with the kids. This one was pretty cool. The store is divided into three sections: the first was the groomIng section for pets, the second was rats and reptiles, the last section was the fishes. The staff was very knowledgeable. We will be back!

I have had relatively good experience with Grooming here in the past. They were quick, affordable, and did pretty good on the cut. That’s the reason for the Two stars.This last time I picked him up and noticed a large patch of fur shaved down the middle of his skirt on the belly. He is groomed generally once a month at this location and brushed regularly at home. Groomer claims “ he was knotted and matted to the point wear this patch was the result”. That is first of all untrue, second, we were not consulted or advised that they would do that in response to “said knot” , third we were not shown at the time of pickup nor given any explanation as to why they would do this. I had to call and find out myself.End result, my dog looks crazy and Pet Village grooming has lost a customer. The woman on the phone, developed a tone through the conversation that was less than pleasant and helpful and I don’t appreciate that either.

My favorite family owned pet store! My dog loves coming here to get groomed. I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy & I’ve never been disappointed. Great service & attitude! Frankie & I love the Pet Village Family!

Pet village is a wonderful place with everything you can think of as far as pets go super helpful and great customer service we’ve been getting fish from here about 5 years or so now and I’d recommend it to anybody that has any pet needs

I took my dog to get a nail trim and file and he is highly sensitive with his nails. They did amazing! They got him done in less than 10 minutes. Didn’t hear him bark, whine, or yelp like he typically does.

Has a price minimum of $5 if you use any card. Price for Cricket count is odd - but I guess that's what I get for voiding the Petco/Petsmart but away from my usual reptile shop. Worked in a pinch but wouldn't go here again for anything reptile.

Love this place so much! My Shihtzu is blind and is usually very nervous at groomers but she does so well here. All the animals in here look to be very well taken care of! Love the cat who roams around to. Staff is always friendly! 10/10

We came to get a couple of puppy collars and treats, but stayed a while to watch the macaw, bunnies, and the fish. The people there were kind and didn't mind us looking around.

The tanks seemed in good condition, the fish were all looking good, and the staff were friendly and available. The selection was narrow, but I get that supply chains everywhere are strained and they did have a bit more than the big box chain stores. The pricing was reasonable and my new flame tetras seem healthy. I'd come back again.

I take my fur baby to Pet Village on a pretty regular basis and I have always loved the results. Fun Fact: They never fail to dress her with a beautiful handkerchief around her neck, I imagine they tell her she's beautiful because she won't allow us to remove it without a fuss, I once tried to replace it between visits and she managed to destroy my replacement. Thank you Pet Village for always making my beloved feel pretty! We will be back soon.

This is a live and learn thing!There’s a man that works in the fish room and has been there a long time that has NO IDEA WHAT HE’S DOING AND SAYING.He told me the clown loaches would be great with my cichlids. All 4 I bought are Dead because the clown loaches needs 85 to 90 degrees water to live in. If not in worm water they get ICK and die.Plus he told me that they buy back fish. That was a JOKE I guess because I had $145 of fish to get store Credit and did Not expect all that money in trade. But I had to argue to get only $30 in fish Credit. Because it started out at $12 then $20.This guy should of told me the truth before I came with my fish. I cleaned out my tank and couldn’t bring my fish back home.People don’t expect any reasonable trade with your fish there at pet Village!!!I will say they have a good Selection of fish!!The other people working there are very good people. The owner is a good man along with a young lady that was in the fish room she knows what she’s saying and doing there!!
