Nothing is priced until you check out & then hold your breath because it’s extremely over priced! No customer service skills at all! They asked if we had a reward phone number we would like to enter and then had no idea how to sign us up for that said that they would have to get their manager! Absolutely unbelievable!

Although some items we regularly pick up may be out of stock from time to time, we still stop by. We have always been treated well whether asking for help or checking out. I do agree with the post about prices not being posted. NO ONE likes a surprise like that when checking out.

Bought a dewalt chop saw on Saturday, it didn’t work. Tried to take it back on Monday, they don’t do returns on power tools. The manager was extremely rude, none of the employees are helpful. Best go somewhere else, like Gebos in Amarillo or Dalhart or a Tractor Supply also in Dalhart or Amarillo. I will not do business with Big R until they have a turnover in management. UPDATE. Store got a new manager Mr. Stidger, he took care of the problem professionally and courteously. Also Sara was nice and helpful. This is a nice change for the Dumas store.

We bought some shirts and they didn’t make up the deal and I told her about it and said said “well I don’t know where you got that from” so they sent someone over and we were right. Then she said that it was a stressful situation? Like how we were patiently waiting for the manager to come. She was just very rude and I wanted the guy next to us to go ahead of us since the other workers didn’t want to open an other cash register till the manager came.

Great chain store. Very familiar with Big R. But an embarrassing bathroom and rude wanna be “cowboys” here at this one. Watch your 6 even if you’re from somewhere similar/ country.

I took a grill back to Big R that I had bought there because it wasn't working. I was told that the problem was that the pellets got wet and expanded, then hardened. They were able to clean it out, but it was no easy job. When I returned to get it, they did not charge me anything. The problem was my fault for letting the pellets get wet, but they would not let me pay anything. You don't get service like this much anymore. I'm a BIG R customer for life!

I was in Dumas on business and bought a child's cowboy hat at Big R as a souvenir for my son. The hat ended up being way too small. I contacted Big R, and Sheila helped me quickly exchange the hat through the mail at minimal cost. I did not get to shop for very long inside the store, but their customer service proved to be outstanding! Thank you, again, Sheila, for your help!

My husband found a good deal on some new work jeans. Good farm and ranch clothing selection. Friendly staff.And the baby chicks were cute. So that is always fun.

Went in for some bolts and nuts for a trailer. Marshall helped me get everything I needed and even went out of his way to make sure I had the right bolts for the trailer. This place is great.

There was one girl named Kailey or something like that. She was a very rude girl and she gave me and my boyfriend a bunch of dirty looks and made some rude comments. I would recommend not dealing with her.

Yes it's a good place to shop at but this one employee was very rude with my dad she looked at him weird because he was speaking Spanish and when we asked for a different shoe size she said there isn't any of that size but she said it in a very rude way
