Very surprising find- Super wide selection, great range of options. They carried the dehydrated raw food I was looking for. A few good special deals- which apparently they rotate monthly. This independent pet store is a different experience from the strip-mall standard shopping mart. I will go back. So will my pup- he enjoyed it too! Self-serve pet washing station is a plus. Recommended.

Haven't been a regular shopper, but will be going forward. They have a self-serve dog washing station in the back and it is a game changer! If you're like me you wash your dog outside on the patio/porch/deck or you try to bring them inside and use your tub. Unless you've got a bench in your shower, this probably means placing your dog on the ground and then bending over or squatting to wash them, or if you've got a tub then sitting on the uncomfortable tub rim to do it. Not ideal!This has two stations, raised, with a high lip to contain water and soap. Our dog is small so picking her up is not hard, but larger/older dogs you might want two people . The tub is probably 2.5 feet off the ground, with the lip maybe hitting 3 or 3.5 feet. You'll have to bring your dog close to chest level to put them in. A fit larger dog probably can get into the tub themselves.They have two sprayers per station, one with a garden hose style of spray patter adjustment, shampoo, scrubs, towels, aprons for you to protect your clothes, and a blow dryer per station too. It was awesome.As far as food /toys go they seem to have a fairly extensive selection, with many brands I am not familiar with as well as the majors everyone knows. They carry our "special" dog food (Pro-Plan Sensitive Stomach and skin) as well as some science diet and royal canine products, though I didn't see a full line of those (thinking hydrolyzed protein food and treats from science diet)I mostly was paying attention to dog stuff, but they sell products for cats, and also birds. Probably other pet types as well but I didn't do a full inventory.Very helpful, overall, with the staff going above and beyond to help me figure out payment options when I left my wallet at home. Pet wash is 15 bucks and for my money it's worth every penny.

I stopped in yesterday to get my dog some cold weather gear before the 1st polar event of 2024 arrives this weekend.LaDonna went the extra mile helping me get the right fit for my totally uncomfortable with being in a store, rescue dog.La Donna made this an easy, quick experience. Customer service reigns at this store. Also the pricing on items was much better than the big box stores.

I came in today to buy my dog a bag of Purina Pro Plan and the employee stated “Have you considered switching brands? There’s another recall out on PPP right now. Apparently it’s killed a bunch of dogs.” First of all, there are no current recalls out on PPP. Second of all, if there were then why would you still be selling the food at your store? I told him I had used Hill’s Science in the past to which he replied “To be honest I’m not a huge fan of either of those brands.” I told him that those are the two brands that my dog’s vet recommends and then walked out. I’m not usually one to write a negative review for a single encounter but I was pretty bothered by this spread of misinformation and uncalled for opinions.

Just passing through town and needed to pick up a collapsible dog bowl. Great store, lots of selections. I wish I could've stayed a bit more to browse.The staff was friendly.

Hands down the nicest most helpful most informative bunch of pet folks I have ever encountered in a pet store. Range of products is great, prices are good Forget the big box this should be the place you go.

I went into this store looking for dog food and was hit by this overwhelming stench. The animal cages were filthy and it was clear to me they hadn't been taken care of in some time. This is animal abuse at its finest, selling animals for profit and keeping them in breeding mill conditions. Disgusting. Not to mention the prices are disgustingly inflated even in todays economy and its better off shopping somewhere else.

The store is always so nice, clean, and stocked! The staff are always so polite and have great attitudes. My son and I go in about once a month and purchase things for our dogs. We went in a week ago and they gave us free samples of treats, food etc. I highly recommend going here for all of your pet needs, you would be shocked at the variety of inventory they have for all kinds of pets/animals at very fair price!

Great local business with a surprisingly big selection of birdie things! I brought my African grey in to visit, she was welcomed kindly by the staff and loved to shop around the store! They have all the main toy brands including Prevue Hendryx products, and a nice selection of ZuPreem foods! Overall, highly recoomend !

Terrible inventory. I cannot consistently shop for my pet there. They never have the same brands in stock. I was offered to have a bag set aside for me, that never happened. The options that were left had visible tears in the bag and had been poorly taped over with clear tape. There appeared to be a flour moth infestation in the dry cat/dog food section. The quality of the toys were abysmal and overpriced. From the moment you walk in a stench hits you because they have live animals for sale and multiple cats in an enclosure. BEWARE if you have allergy/respiratory issues! This business sells live animals for profit which is highly unethical and disturbing. The quality of the products are poor and the employees will not help you and appear untrained to even answer basic questions. I switched to CHEWY for all of my pet’s needs and could not be happier. Don’t waste your time here.

My wife put me in the dog house. My solution? Buy her a baby bunny rabbit. I went into Whole Pets impulsively, having only a dream of buying a bunny and not sleeping on the couch. Aaron was behind the counter, standing there proudly and knowledgeable like a college educated angel. He sold me an adorable Lion head, a cage, hay, food, treats, the works, and explained how to do it. 👍 I’ll definitely be going there for all of our pets needs and wants! 🙏 And what did my wife think of her bunny? Well, let’s just say that Sealy memory foam mattress never felt so good… Thanks again for everything Aaron! 🙌 I’ll be back when we run out of treats. 🥗 Or when I’m back in the dog house and need to buy a ferret.

I have been pleased overall for the variety of products they offer. Staff has always been very helpful when it comes to finding things; even if the store was in the throes of a "mini-rush," they have been quick to help me find what I needed. . I am very, VERY pleased with the Tuesday nail clipping for tips!! My tiny soul is not overly happy about having her person invaded for various procedures, and the techs were pros at keeping her happy and cooperative while they did her nails. THAT took some doing!!All in all, give them all stars.... right now, they are peachy!!

Everyone here is customer-service oriented. They're great. David has been a wonderful source of information and suggestions, actually found a cure for a problem I've had with one of my dogs that has to do with digestion. I've had her at a vet, medication, and the problem never completely went away. David was interested and concerned and gave me what has turned out to be the cure-all advice, all because of food recommendations and probiotics that are in stock at the store. Just an overall helpful and pleasant place to shop for your pet's needs.

The staff here is super nice and incredibly helpful. I called ahead of time to get my crickets prepped and ready for pickip before the store closed and they took care of it it right away. Would highly recommend these guys.
