Why can't we give more stars? I have an exchange student who loves ostriches. I called Happy Acres Ostrich Ranch to see if they give tours. I was thinking we could feed some ostriches and learn a little. But Sue was the best, most informative ranch owner. She had information stations set up, feeding stations for each set of ostriches, and gave a tour of all of the ranch including the incubation room and hatching room. She shared her love and knowledge of not only the ostriches, but her donkeys, horses, turkeys and water buffaloes. At the end of the tour she gave us a quiz and helped us celebrate our exchange daughter's upcoming birthday. Sue, you made this student's birthday one she will never forget.

Check and Sue have wonderful hearts for animals and people. They do a great job with their animals and are lovely to work with. I have gotten eggs and meat from them and both are fantastic! Ostrich meat is very high in protein and low in fat, and quite delicious. I would highly recommend Happy Acres for all your ostrich related purchases.

What an exhilarating yet peaceful experience. The ostriches are reminiscent of prehistoric creatures and reminds us of just how old this earth is! ‘So much fun with such a variety of animals. You will love Sue as she gives you a tour of her rescued horses and what a kind heart such as hers can achieve! ❤️
