DO NOT BUY A WHOLE COW OR HALF COW OR QUARTER COW. Please save yourself time and money. It is much cheaper to buy at a grocery store. Their actual unit price was 30% to 100% more expensive than what you would pay at the grocery store.This is my experience buying 2 half cows from them.Their front line staff is very professional and friendly. The cuts of meat look fresh and are vacuum sealed but were extremely small for premium cuts (7 to 10 ounces a unit).The pricing is extremely deceptive. You are charged for something called hanging weight, but you are not told that over the phone. You will pay nearly double that price on the actual meat you take home. Weigh the meat yourself and confirm you are getting the unit price you were told.If you try to get a refund for their deceptive practices, they will act like you are in the wrong, and only offer a partial refund.They also charge extra for paying with a card but won't refund that extra charge and claim they are the ones who paid it, despite the contrary showing up on your receipts.

Awesome service! A friend brought me here after taking me hunting on his lease. Had a great experience working with the office manager while she helped me decide how to have my meat processed. Clayton, the owner, talked to me about their whole process and gave me a few samples. Make sure you ask about their secret menu of spice options for jerky and good sticks!

First time taking a deer to a processor, I chose this place because it was close to me. Lady at the front desk is nice. The euro mount I had done turned out excellent and the sausage taste great. Was told my order would be ready in two weeks so me being excited, I called to check on my order two weeks later. The man said (I think it was the owner) they're working on it and will call when completed. Ended up taking over two more weeks to get finished. One thing rubbed me the wrong way, when I got home after picking up my order I noticed they charged me $10 for changing my order (two days after dropping off deer) but okay I get it, and $5 for calling to check on order status. I contacted the owner to ask why, because I've never heard of a company charging for a status check. He told me how HUGE of an issue it is for him to check order status and that if he loses a customer because of a $5 charge then he doesn't want that customer. Funny, since I had just spent almost $500 at his store, and had also brought two friends with me who spent in total about $450. Customer service is very important to me and this guy has a lack of care for the customer. Will take my money elsewhere. Suggestion for the business, give more accurate time frames to the customer and drop the "slap in the face" fees.

I think I know why this company went to working as a private butcher only. Their people skills are next to nonexistent and their idea of customer service is worse. The service they perform is essential and they do that very well. Their cuts are phenomenal and they execute that aspect of their trade flawlessly but their customer service skills are beyond compare... because they don't have any. I did not choose this establishment and I don't know how they compare to others who provide the same service, but the price seemed a bit steep. They quoted me one price on the phone and the price at the register was almost $50.00 more. And why is "hanging weight" the accepted means of purchasing their service? Who or what entity decided that this is the industry standard? Where's the accountability in that? That's an awful lot to take on faith! I find it hard to believe that half of the animal that was slaughtered was waste.

I had 3 deer processed at Devine Meat Company this year, after switching from a processor I had used for the last several years. I can say that Devine Meat Company is my new go-to processor. My experience and the quality of the meat I received back is second to none! The staff have been friendly and accommodating each time I have been by to drop off or pickup my order. Clayton will try to up-sell you on the venison fajitas and it’s not just a tactic to drive up the price of your order, they’re excellent! My family can’t get enough of them. I have recommended Devine Meat Company to the others I hunt with and expect them to make the switch next season as well.

The people here are awesome. Brought my wife's uncle, from Central Wisconsin, down for hog hunting. Clayton took us out on a Friday evening and put us on the hogs right away. Then worked us up a good deal on the gut and skin and processing of the meat and had it done by Tuesday so my uncle could take his meat back with him on the plane Wednesday. He made us feel welcome. Thank you very much for a great experience.

Unprofessional wants to charge me for how much the deer weighed field dressed. Not for amount of meat actually taken in. Wants full amount for meat up front! Then maybe issue a refund if it ends up being less. Deer was 140lbs field dressed. shes going off that weight. When deer was going to be taken to her with the head and hide off. So it was going to weigh less. Last year was fine. Took my deer there paid the $100 deposit and rest when I picked up my meat.How do I know I'm getting exactly what I pay for? She can charge me full amount not issue back a dime and say "you had x amount of sausage, summer etc." Just so it can equal out to what she says. When in reality she can give you .75 lb packs of meat but charging you for 1lb. How would you know? Who's going to individually weigh every single pack.Customer service and way they want to run their business now is the reason for the 1 star rating.On the other hand venison fajitas here are great. Chorizo is great. I wanted to try their summer sausage this year and their brisket/venison ground meat.Shame they want to run their business like this now (give me $600 now and if it's less ill give you money back) and they want to go off of different weights instead of what the meat taken in actually is.

Awesome prices and super cool friendly people. They answered all of my questions and even helped me get my stubborn steer out of my trailer for slaughter. Love that they hang and age the beef for the best flavorful steaks around. They cut them however u want and however thick u want.. Too awesome. I won't go anywhere else..

I've done 4 hogs, a goat, a lamb, and just picked up a whole beef from Devine Meat Company. They always do an excellent job and always have great customer service. I'll be back in a few months with some more hogs.Since my last review I've dropped off more gigs and just now another cow. They always do fantastic work.

I had a great experience at Devine Meat company, the owner Clayton was friendly and personable. All my meat was vacuum packed and labeled in rectangles for easy storage and the dry goods were perfect portion sizes for me to pass out to friends and family. I will definitely be coming back!!

I've personally known the owner for several years. Straight forward & honest guy both inside & outside of the business. I've used many other meat processors over the past 30 years to process my game and will stay with Devine Meat market for years to come. I'm treated like any other customer, no special favors, have to wait like everyone else and have had no issues what so ever. Quality is good. 😊

Visited the Devine Meat Co. after a successful elk hunt in Colorado. They staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing how to break down this enormous animal into the various products they are capable of providing, a very long list of which to choose from by the way. Can't wait to get the call that the meat is ready for pickup! Go visit these guys for your processing needs and pick up some goodsticks and other goods while you're there, you won't regret it!

Rude, unorganized and unprofessional. Waited behind one person for 20 minutes while the gal was searching for an order. Owner spent 5 minutes grumbling after being asked if the cost was per pound or set fee for deer processing. Called and asked if order was processed and owner replies with, “others are in line before you,” and hangs up abruptly. Owner will share stories of staff he fired and talk poorly of customers he isn’t fond of. On a positive note, the meat is packaged well.

Very knowledgeable and patient! I am still pretty new in the aspect of butchering a calf. The gentleman I spoke with was more than happy to explain what the different cuts were and where they came from. I should gave gotten his name! 🤔 Clayton, the owner, is also very nice and will take the time to explain things. I will have no problems taking future business to them!

My cousin had some meat done up here and it's great. My Dad went to texas to do some hunting and fishing as he battled cancer. His last kill was a medium sized hog, it took every ounce of energy he had to stand up and take his shot. I dropped it off around the 4th of Jan. Dad passed away on the 11th, I called on the 26th and was asked how long it had been and was rudely told "only 3 weeks!?! The average wait is 4-6 weeks". So without a fuss I politely responded "ok that's fine" I was inquiring because I was leaving back to Colorado and hoped to take the meat with me but I understand it takes time. Well it's been 8 weeks I haven't heard back, and I'm really not bothered about the customer service or potentially being out 100 dollars on the deposit, just sincerely hoping someday to receive the meat from Dad's last hog. #685

We've had several white tail deer processed here over the last couple of years; never had any trouble. They don't charge for rush service (nice when you are an out of state hunter on a tight schedule).Good sausage 😊

This place offers a product that is old world craftsmanship at its finest! Highly recommend the fajitas, dried sausage, and jerky.I picked up a custom slaughter steer that was purchased from a local rancher. DMC did an outstanding job slaughtering, aging and packaging this animal. Everything was perfectly vacuum sealed and labeled, so the cuts are easy to identify in the freezer.I look forward to doing business with this company again.

Everything was packaged nicely and exactly what I ordered. Staff was very friendly. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it took almost 8 weeks to get everything back. There was 28 lbs of Chile Piquin Good Sticks. Other than that. I'll be back!

The meat that we had processed was a bit of a disappointment. I sent the deer here to get process to avoid the trouble of doing it myself but unfortunately i still had to do alot. After waiting many weeks we arrived to pick up the meat and the people in the office was very very very unorganized and it took them quite some time find all of our meat. Once i got home i noticed that most of the packages were not properly sealed and there was alot of air in the packages causing me to have to re do this myself... i do understand that this is a busy time for meat to be processed but i would have willing waited a little longer to insure that this would have been done correctly...

Prices are very fair!Me being an Agriculture major myself, Clayton is a professional when it comes to packing and makes the cuts of meat. Very knowledgeable in meat sciences and what happens during the processes.Don’t have any cons through this much business done, and has earned my business next deer season!

Lost my daughter's first deer head. I didn't even receive all of the meat. Total processing fee was $88. I was refunded $44. They have potential to be a good shop. I hope they stay in business long enough to realize it. I will not be returning either way.

A horrible place to take your meat. Don’t ever use a credit card at this company. They kept my card number on file without my permission which is illegal. And then they ran my credit card without my permission. And then would never deliver the meet. We are out $1000 and didn’t receive any meat. And to top it off they are rude and disrespectful.

Clayton and His Staff at Devine Meat Company Are First Class, I Had Them Custom Butcher A Steer For Me. Clayton And His Crew Did An Incredible Job, The Cuts Were All To Specification And The Vacuum Seal Was To Perfection. There Were No Packages That Did Not Seal Properly. All Packages Were Uniformed Which Made Them Easy To Stack!!!! Thank You To Clayton And The Staff At Devine Meat Company.
