Clean & Well Stocked Store, however the credit card machine is ALWAYS DOWN 7 days a week or least on certain people shifts is what it appears. It’s always the poster board up that says cash only system down, so you can’t use credit or debit AT ALL. Everyone doesn’t carry cash and when this sign is up every single day it’s a problem. They need to do better!

I live near by and always opt to go out of my way to different location. Since there is new staff it’s been great! Crystal is doing a fantastic job. Staff here is a new crew and happy to help.

We had the pleasure of visiting Dollar General with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. There was only one car in the parking lot and I observed at least one handicapped parking spot. Upon walking in the establishment we noticed a lot of boxes and items on a flat cart at the front of the store. As we walked around we noticed a few other locations with boxes stacked up and some of the aisles were very disheveled. at one point the employee asked if we were from the corporate office and said he was not expecting anyone from the corporate office. He was hospitable during our transaction."Our Purpose is your Blessing"

Employee arguing with management on tne phone while ringing up customers. Super unprofessional2024: Walked in yesterday to the employee playing the Richard Pryor comedy CD all while complaining that the customers shouldn't have a problem with it! I can't make this stuff up! 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

If I can give no stars I would! The lady at the register was rude and unprofessional. She had an attitude for absolutely no reason. First off she got an attitude because She cancelled out the option to put my number in and was upset she didn’t know how to go back and had to cancel the transaction. Then was mouthing off while doing it. I asked if all my coupons were showing and she then got upset again over using a coupon and called the manager. The manager also had a nasty attitude and came over and said What’s the problem! Instead of trying to HELP he came over to cause even more of a scene. Now I see why even the employees are set in their attitude ways.They should both be fired and I will also contact corporate.

The Dollar General located at 327 Hampton Road is HORRIBLE. I went into the store yesterday afternoon (March 14th.). I greeted the young lady at the register. I picked up roughly 5 items. I walked to the register to pay for them and there was no cashier in sight. I stood there over 5 min. waiting. After 2 more minutes passed I could hear the cashiers voice conversating with another customer. I followed the voice. She was located towards the middle of the store chatting. I asked if I could pay for my items. She rolled her eyes and said go to register 2. I replied I was at the register for a while and no one was around to ring up purchases. She responded with We're doing shift change. OK so are customers supposed to wait until her relief person shows up? Maybe lock the door and don't let customers in until the relief person shows up.She strolled to the front with a NASTY ATTITUDE and proceeded to ring my items up. Rude, Nasty and Unprofessional. Anyone could go in and steal items from the store since no one was in the front at all.Customer service is horrible at that location. I will not go back.

Went into this store to day it looked like a tornado had gone through and ram shacked it you could hardly walk down a Aisle without feeling like you are in a maze ! It was super hot in there, stuff was laying everywhere one of the employees kids were running through the store in a basket knocking stuff off the shelves. I watched them make three rounds no one said anythingI said something the the manger and he didn’t have much to say but when I went to leave I seen the little girl sitting in the office with a lady in a DG shirt.There was some random man who was out side smoking a cigarette when I arrived close to the baskets and due ti him standing there I did not get a basket which was okBut when I was leaving he was in’s the store opening the door for people as they went out !The lady behind the cash register did not speak even when I spoke to herNeedless to say we are new to the city and I will find another DG to go toLooking for clean store and possibly good customer service

This location has no signs on the door they were closed at 10am and it’s 2:30pm they are still closed with items sitting outside.. if their on a break, lunch, restocking, it’s simple place a note on the door

I thought the store had been robbed. Absolutely nobody in sight for at least 5 minutes. Crickets!!! I mean when I got to the register to pay, this lady stood and finished her conversation and told me to go to register one.... where I was already standing. This was the morning of 5/19. Turned and started talking,so I walked out. Lovely experience. Don't do it!!!!!!!

I don't understand what is happening with the administration of this store, they have neglected the staff they hire a lot, the cashiers have a bad temper and always look tired and in a bad mood, I prefer to drive a few more miles to have a better service ..

Very clean and nice, have lots of things i haven't seen at other locations. however, if you wait to shoor Saturday for that extra $5 off 25 better SKIP this location, spike with manager and i was told they do NOT take the cupon $5 off $25 bc "the discount is already applied somehow in the final price" 🤨😑😐 not a clear answer.... He suggested i go to the other locations where they DO take the cupon. 👍

I'm assuming she was the supervisor because she was barking orders and acted like she ran the store. Soon as I walked into the establishment a little kid with just a t-shirt and diaper on ran in front of me and was running back and fourth from behind the register and throughout the store. Come to find out it is her child. How in the world is this okay? She is talking/yelling at him and other employees from behind the counter. Then while I was shopping a customer was waiting to check out and the employee leaves the counter and the customer asks for assistance to checkout and the employee was like you have to wait. The customer then states I don't have time to wait, in a rush. The employee leaves the counter then states if you're in a rush then go to Wal Mart. I just couldn't believe my ears and understand how this employee has any type of lead or supervisor role with this type or workmanship. This needs to be corrected and soon. Until new management arrives I will no longer support this location. I shop at DG at least once a week and this is totally unacceptable.

In keeping with my other 2 favorite DG's , this one may be smaller but it's made up for in cleanliness , the awesome employees , & the wonderful customers . Manager Chille (pronounced Shillay ) is as amazing as can be ! I will repeat I am very impressed with desoto's DG's !!! FYI if you have an issue in one of these stores , just politely go see a manager they will take care of it for you , these people work hard for their money . Those products you buy don't stock themselves nor do they clean so if you need a cashier just go look down the aisles I guarantee you'll find one !!! All of these employees are very polite , kind and willing to help ! Kiddos to DG in hiring them all !!!

I love Dollar General cause it's convenient and affordable. But it always depends on which one you go to. I have been to several. The customer service is good sometimes, and sometimes it's not. But seems like the store is always in array. I have to walk down every aisle to locate anything. Stuff is not organized, the shelves looks over crowded, and a few times I purchased candy (by the register) for my kids, and it was old. But overall, it's better than the Family Dollar and its horrific smell, and weekly robberies.

The young man at this location was on it he walked around in the store organizing the shelves asking customers if the had any questions and did they find everything ok.He was very informative and great personality!!!Kudos for this customer service support guy!!Need more people like him in these stores....etc..etc...

The store is toooooooo CROWDED with merchandise. The cashier could barely check out for trying to answer text messages on her phone. The card machine wasn't working which should have been a sign on the door instead of waiting until you were at the front of the LONG line. An Overhaul is needed. Also need better lighting outside the building.

very nice people everything is very well-stocked it's great you can get soup for like $0. 50 it can I think it might have been 69 but it's all good it's good soup and then they have a course flip flops and just your regular Dollar Store kind of stuff I kind of saw like cap guns for kids that kind of stuff where you been to the Dollar Generals before but not like this one we're new to hear in this is great stuff we're so happy to be where we're at because it's party time

Went in today to shop for items. The pa system throughout the store was blaring out explicit rap music,,,CURSING to the fullest. Not enjoyable to shop. It's sad when you don't know if your in a store or the club.

It has gotten better overall. The parking lot needs more lighting. Quick and easy shopping trip. New faces and they're friendly. Somewhat crowd at the counter area but it's better then before.

I used to go to the DG on Bear Creek in Glenn Heights. They are unprofessional. They don't honor the sale signs they have posted. When things dont ring up correctly in their register they make no attempts to adjust the price. Some of the cashiers don't wear mask.

Why does a cashier need a calculator next to the register? Why are they on their phones while at work? Common sense would be not to steal from register, while customers are watching. Very rude demeanor as well. For you get what you pay for! Young lady with tattoo on her hand, she's robbing y'all blind..... lol better look at them recordings a lil bit better.

Wonderful, the cashier was very gracious, asking if everything I wanted was there , also gave me a great sale on tide , The Manger also was great . Smiled and I felt very comfortable shopping . Everything was stocked up . No looking down every else wit displaced item's . Thank you guys 😊

Cluttered, the machine froze then after it was reset 2x it still didn't do my coupons. The lady at the register has a I dont feel like working today attitude, the prices have to be looked at extra careful and some are just plain wrong and there's like permanent pallets for things to be put out on the shelves or taken away.

I really do not like to shop. I choose DG because it's small, inexpensive and usually quick. I had ALOT of ppl to shop for today and Raven was so helpful. She answered all of my questions and even with her mask (thank you very much), I could tell she was smiling. She was just so pleasant. Made my WHOLE day! May God Bless your awesome self, Raven!

Three customers waiting in line. No one checking. Radio blasting. Had to yell hello twice before anyone came. When the cashier finally came, she didn't have a badge or DG shirt and was rude. Threw my things into a bag. Typical Desoto customer service experience. This was 5 minutes ago.

I remember when this first opened, and compared to what it is now, off went from the Ritz Carlton to a $20 per hour motel. If you're going for items, e.g. milk, it's a hit or miss adventure.This location's City Development really need to regulate the traffic on the main road of this location. Now that people are driving like they're the only ones who have somewhere to go (Covid crazy), you have to take the risk that none of the oncoming drivers are doing something more foolishly than driving above the speed limit, e.g. texting while driving, and jump out on traffic with hopes that their brakes are operational.
