If I could give it a negative I would employees have a trash attitude. All the prices in the store say one thing on the shelf and another when you get to the register 5 items incorrect and the manager says tge employees can change it but they don't. There lazy. Dollar general gm needs to come in because this is ridiculous.

This Dollar General in Desoto doesn’t open up on time. It be 7am they’ll open at 7:30am smh. This location is terrible. Location needs to be shutdown or find a better management team. They probably in the back doing things they shouldn’t be doing… The manager might be a drunk.

This is a horrible store they always have issues it's always a loong line then wen they see it's too long card onlynow cash people have to leave they really need to close it down I'm so tired of that store

I just left out the store with my purchase and it did not work. I decided to return it since I was already in the parking lot. I walked back in and asked to return it. The guy told me I can only do in store exchange since I did not have the receipt, even though I just left out the store less than 5 minutes prior. He didn’t give me the receipt even though it was printed he assumed I didn’t want it and threw it in the trash. His attitude was bad when I told him to get it out the trash. He told me it’s up to the customer to request the receipt. If it was printed it should’ve been handed to me with my change. No customer should have to ASK for their receipt. 🤗The store is convenient literally.👂There is a new guy that work at this location named Robert he is very professional. He has very good customer service. He should be a manager here. He is always nice and very attentive. I waited and watched him be nice to everyone that came to his line. He has no respect of person. 👍👏👏The prices are good. I like the fact that it is in and out when I visit this location. They are well stocked. The Clerk was following CDC guidelines and wearing his mask.They always have what I am looking for at a great price. 🤗

Manager has no customer service skills at all! He needs to be retrained! Barely says two words to the customers. No hello, thank you, here’s your total or here’s your receipt or nothing and he talks on his phone while checking you out and still doesn’t acknowledge the customers. I purchase a few things from the 75% off basket, but they were still regular price. He did try to adjust but really didn’t know how. Store was cluttered, hard to walk around AND the line was long and slow!

Omgggg this was the only store open during the winter storm, there were two men working the store not once did they complain the people kept coming in until the cashier said yall please wait 30 minutes I need a break! He said it with such humility that the people understood and waited! Great job i hope those faithful employees got double pay or shown they were appreciated!

This store doesn't deserve this 1 star!!!!!I emailed the corporate office last night & I have not received any type of reply. This is my email......I was in this store the other day & what a disappointment! This store needs a manager who actually knows how to run a store & employees who can do their job with a smile on their face. The current manager doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing & these young kids that he has working in this store spend more time on their phones instead of acknowledging the customers & helping when needed. This store has no air conditioning & hasn't had air conditioning for over 2 weeks. There are fans on with cords all over the floor. No signage anywhere to prevent someone from tripping over these cords. THIS IS A LAWSUITE WAITING TO HAPPEN!!!!! This is a safety hazard to the employees & the customers. Not only that, it is unsafe working conditions with the temperature outside being in the triple digits. I was even told by an employee that DeSoto Inspection instructed the store manager to close the store down immediately & yet they are still open. How is this acceptable & how does Dollar General justify this. Why are these employees working in this unsafe condition?

The one checker did an excellent job. Being that there were only two workers , the checker and a stocker. The line was 15 deep right at the lunch hour rush. No one in line was annoyed with the checker. But we were all a bit annoyed at there being only one checker to accommodate us. The customers before me as well as myself complemented her on A JOB WELL DONE.

This is the nicest $ general I've been in & I've been in a lot due to a couple jobs I've had !! It's clean you can get through the isles & the people who work there are awesome !! Props to the entire crew , y'all rock !!

I WANT A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR MY EVERY DAY DOLLARS. I go to this store because it's the closest but they have horrible customer service. One of the ladies there is just rude or could use some ppl training. The store is not stocked properly and cluttered for them to ONLY OPEN 1 REGISTER as they all act as if they are so busy stocking they can't speak or help.

I spend alot of time and dollars at this location, just because it's close to home. I am big on customer service and find this location lacking badly.. It's not hard to say hello. Having a full conversation with the delivery guys when serving your customer's is RUDE and this is an always thing.. I would love to give this rating a 4 stars because the young ladies during the evening hours are very helpful and always greets you..

This place is always crowded with boxes of merchandise.... you can barely walk down the isles.... I understand that you have to keep shelves stocked.... but during the busiest shopping hours.... no one is moving anything.... it's just sitting there... I've been in the store where the lines are are extremely long with one cashier... and other folk working there busy doing nothing.... I skip by this store now because it's a mess and so are the workers...

Oh my God I wish there was another store closer besides this one to my home. It's always one person to do the checkout line and the lines are extremely long down the aisles. Not to mention there is no get up about the store clerk when checking out a customer. They take their precious time and want to tell their long life story as they sack the items very slowly...however they can have other workers in the store but either they're outside talking or they're in the back doing nothing or who knows what..stuff is always over the place and that store nothing is organized or put up where it should be I'm confused maybe they're understaffed and need more people.. but I will saying they need to have two registers open at all times. This location is busy with traffic flowing in and a customer shouldn't have to wait in line 30 minutes!!! Ridiculous

This was the cleanest and easiest to shop Dollar General I’ve seen in a log time. I advise the cashier of my observations. She was status quo. Excellent customer service would have gotten 5 stars.

The shelves are empty possibly due to renovation. There was also a discrepancy with a elderly lady in a wheel chair trying to get her money back. This incident held up the line for quite a while. I think another measure should take place when incidents like this happen to keep the line moving.

I will never, never come to this location. I literally caught a couple having sex on one of the aisles. They looked up and just there.. With all the boxes blocking the aisles, I guess they figured no one would see. My 11 year old was with me.I told an employee and all she said was okay. Ridiculous

Need more help. Lines are always extremely long and most times it's only 1 cashier. Alot of times it's only 1 worker in the entire store which is dangerous. Turnover rate is high.
