OK for locals and conventional needs, but does not carry a few items I like. Employees were friendly enough.I'm guessing they were out of certain fresh fruits because locals don't buy them as vigorously as needed.

Good selection of goods, extremely overpriced, most times have to sack my own goods, carry my own out. Management still pays their employees the same as 20 years ago. It's a joke, go elsewhere.

Update, I went in for just a few items in mid January 2023, I’ve never seen a more disgusting produce department in my entire life. Most of the fruit and vegetables looked like they should have been thrown out a week ago, and for what few items I purchased, the checker was the rudest retail checker I’d ever had the misery of dealing with. Denver City is in BAD need of a grocery store!I don’t shop at this store because I’ve witnessed the manager treating his employees horribly, and he’s extremely rude and hateful towards his customers. When an employer berates his female employees, in front of customers, he’s a pathetic excuse for a man, and businessman! He should take more pride in the store his wife’s father gave him.

This particular store usually is stocked with what I'm shopping for....... cashiers are very friendly and customer service oriented. As far as management that's another story. Other than Denice in produce other management is definitely not customer service oriented unfortunately! That's just my experience over the past 2 years.

Everyone always so friendly and welcoming and even when they r closing they went the extra mile to check for stuff I couldn't find. Kevin was so amazing. Found exactly what I couldn't and even offered to let me know when the shipment was coming again. Love coming to this place.

VIVIAN,,....... She is about the best Customer service grocery store staff I have ever known, not to mention she's just a really nice person. Its ok for a local grocery store. Some of the staff is friendly and some just need to stay home bc it seems to kill them to be kind to customers. They have a good array of products and the prices aren't to high.

Every time I go nobody can help me carry out I didn't have problem with this till yesterday everytime I go I carry things on my own yesterday I needed one because I had my newborn in my other hand in the carsit and my 2 year old in my other hand I ask the cashier for carry out and she ignore me so I had to carry everything on my own I dont like this store because most of the cashiers are rude and well if they don't like there job they should of went to school to get a degree and get a good job the job they like and if they didn't have no choice then at least be thankful and smile but i still have to go its the only grocery store in denver city.

Before the Denver City Thriftway moved to their new store, I went in one afternoon around 2pm and two cashiers were standing their painting their nails. Now days, when they're slow, you see them sitting on their damned cell phones. How about taking some pride in their job and maybe straighten up the end caps closest to their registers. Much better use of their time, on the clock.

Children aren't allowed to go into the grociery stores so why are they still letting older kids?? Children are usually the ones parents have to keep at their hip .and dont have a baby sitter for.. instead of limiting capacity which would be more effective they are just limiting whose allowed. If they really cared about practicing safe measures for Covid-19 they would limit capacity NOT ban children idk what their doing but it seems more like getting back for closing schools than protecting the public. FYI all school age children shouldn't be allowed not just small kids.

Clean little grocery store. They have a good selection of Mexican specialty items. Cashiers are pleasant and Ken in produce always gives great customer service.

I shop all the time out of town because of this grocery store! Never in my life have I seen off brand food more expensive than the name brand! Price mark up is way to high! I rather spend a little in gas for fare prices than spend too much on food in this store!

The mgmt is rly friendly they come up to you to say hello & the young man who carried out my groceries idk who he was also helped me take my groceries out of my basket I rly appreciate that

This will be the last time I ever shop at this store, the owner verbally abused one of his workers in front of a lot of people today, humiliating her. I will be looking up corporate number to report his ass.Or if you are the person that this happened to get in touch with me I will personally write you a letter to take to the Unemployment or to your attorney.
