We had a wonderful experience with Vince and Adam with Smokey's Fireplace and Chimney. Initially we had an old log gas fireplace unit that had the pilot light assembly go bad. We looked them up and reached out. They responded immediately and scheduled us an appointment. They said they would be able to replace the part that same day they first came out. But we also inquired about updating our unit to get a better burner. They showed us some of their options and we decided to upgrade our unit. They came back a week later after ordering the new parts and installed our new burner. We absolutely love it. Highly recommend you give these guys a call if your fireplace is in need of repair or upgrades. They were very professional and super friendly.

We had this guy come out today, and he was pretty awesome. We just had some questions about if this old fireplace was safe to use with normal wood(it has a gas igniter, so it looked like it might be a gas only fireplace). Cleared everything up really quickly, and I now know my fireplace is safe to burn real wood in without blowing up my house.Really appreciate everything!

The BEST in the business! Adam and Kevin came in and fixed 2 fireplaces for us in less than an hour an an half! Professional and clean! They know the in’s and outs of every fireplace! I needed my units fixed asap due to selling my home and they came out next day! They have my forever business! I am attaching a pic of one of my fireplaces that they fixed cause they said they had never seen one like this before…yet they were able to fix it! Thank you Smokey’s!

Such great service! Vince and Adam came in and solved our problem in about an hour. We had a previous repair company come in and say they didn’t know what was wrong with the unit. Vince and Adam took everything apart, repaired it, and now it’s working perfectly. So happy I found Smokey’s. Highly recommend.

Kevin did a great job with the maintenance and inspection of our chimney. He explained what he did and offered an explanation as to what upkeep was needed for the upcoming winter season. He was in communication with me via text the day before and the morning of the appointment. He portrayed excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company.

This was a huge undertaking and this company attacked it head on. There were a couple bumps along the way, but Vince and his team handled everything very professionally. I am extremely happy with the result and I definitely recommend them for any fireplace job.

I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come to my house to provide a quote for a chimney cap. I made arrangements to be home at the scheduled time the technician was supposed to arrive. I hadn’t heard from anyone all day so I called the company ten minutes before the end of the timeframe they were to arrive. I was later told by text that my roof was “too steep” even though no one even came to my property. Very odd how a company “specializing” in chimneys can’t access a roof. I had another company out two days prior that had no problem at all. This company is unprofessional and has a complete disregard for people’s time.

I would have given 5 stars, but it was the cost that caused me to rate 3 stars. The technician was kind and professional, but it took less than 5 minutes to determine the switch was stuck between on and off causing the fireplace not to ignite. Done and $377. I knew the troubleshooting and inspection was $350, but since that wasn’t really required I expected the cost to be less. I do understand I agreed to their fee so that’s my fault, but I also expect a company to consider the service they had to provide when charging a set fee.

Great service. Vince responded to my request very quickly and was able to get us on the schedule a few days later. They came out for cleaning and maintenance since this was our first time to use the fireplace. Vince and Adam did a great job cleaning everything and going over what needed to be replaced vs what was still in good shape. Such a good experience with Smokey’s. My fire place hadn’t worked in years, after having several technicians come out, with no success. Adam had the problem solved within 10 minutes of arriving. Very satisfied with the service, would HIGHLY Recommend.

Techs were helpful and professional. They identified the issue quickly, piece of broken log covering the pilot. They were here maybe 30 minutes and I was still charged $300. Good thing nothing was actually wrong. Would have been nice if I was made aware the fee was $300 when I made the appointment, but then again that would lead to a lot less appointments. Find someone more reasonable and save some coin.Service: Chimney inspections

Unscrupulous. There was no real transparency in pricing but i trusted them based on a few good reviews. They would only say they charge 169.99 for cleaning and inspection but outside that would need to diagnose any issues and determine from there. Bled the lines and after 5 minutes the chimney was working. They said this service was $480.00. No parts replaced, nothing just bled the gas line. They left shortly after but had to come right back after leaving as the fireplace did not turn right back on. Adjusted the gas pipe and it was working again after another 5 minutes. They are unscrupulous based on my experience and i would not trust them to come out to do anything else. Hope the $480 was enough to get them by as they obviously need it more than i. I just hope that satisfied their appetite so they dont feel the need to do that to another customer that is not in a position to absorb that kind of cost but if i were you reading this i would not take the chance. There are plenty of others out there that can service a fireplace. Keep looking.

Another company tried to cheat me and have me pay thousands and thousands of dollars to repair my fireplace. These guys were completely honest and charged me a reasonable price to repair my firebox and clean my chimney. I will definitely be using them again and I will also be requesting Kevin and Adam in the future.

Today (2/2/23) with the schools still closed and working from home, I submitted an easy "request a quote on Smokey's website. I was contacted within 30 minutes and was pleasantly surprised to hear they could fit me in today. They showed up on time, were very friendly and professional and made great suggestions for improvements to my gas log fireplace after they had serviced and repaired the fireplace. The result is perfect and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend these guys! Showing a before and after picture from today... Huge improvement and now it works like it should. I really don't like writing negative reviews but the quality of this product is horrible. I had these glass rocks installed on August 24 and we've turned the fireplace on for 10 minutes max for obvious reasons (it's 90 degrees in Texas) and the glass has already turned brown. I contacted the company about the problem on Sep 7 with no response. I resent my message on Sep 9 and finally got a response. He asked if I wanted to replace the glass with another color for an additional $45 for a 10lb bag??? So I guess they don't stand behind their product that was just installed 2 weeks ago? Then he said he was going to come out to check it out 10 days later on Sep 19. On Sep 18, i received a message that he fell off the ladder so he can't come on the scheduld date. I asked if he can send someone else to check it out as my husband took the day off for no appointment. I have not heard back since. There is not a plan B? This business is not efficient. Our fireplace pilot cannot start without the batteries even thought there is a switch to do so. We have been dealing with this issue for years. Adam came and identified the issue with starter not connecting to power source. He drilled a hole on side of fireplace, fished the wire thru and connect to outlet. Fireplace is now running without any batteries! Adam was very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!
