I can't believe I have never been here before. The main owner and staffs are so nice. Prices are cheaper than Lowes/Home Depot. The staff helped me bring my items to my car, what excellent customer service. I will definitely come back here!!

After close to 5 years of having my office nearby I finally went to this quaint, intriguing place and fell in love with it. And to think about all the wasted time and money I spent going anywhere else, especially Lowe’s and Home Depot! The couple who owns it is there all the time, offering pleasant chitchat and sage advice with friendly pricing to boot! The staff is wonderful and it seems everyone has been there for a long time. Great selection of plants and stuff, and they’d gladly load your vehicle with your purchases.

I’ve lived in Denton my whole life and visit the square frequently, surprisingly I have never seen this shop until today. And I am so happy that I did! My friend & I enjoyed every second of our visit. Compared to Lowe’s or Home Depot the selection of plants is far more vast and much more affordable IMO as well. They also have local honey sourced from Sanger plus a vide variety of high quality dog foods at a fair price. The two older folks who run the store were so sweet to talk to. Highly recommend coming here for an old school feel, wide variety of plant options, plus the exceptional customer service you’re guaranteed to receive. Will definitely be coming back shortly!

I always visit Dennis' when I need flowers and veggies. It's a small mom and pop shop that brings such great memories of a place I used to visit with my Grandpa when I was young. Their flowers are just beautiful - I get huge begonias there each year and they thrive. If you are planting veggies, be sure to stop in. They have some items I don't see in the big box stores like a city salad mix that is hearty and delicious. It grows quickly and I've already had 6 salads from it in the last couple of weeks. They have hens and all types of farm animal meds, etc. It's pretty small and they get really busy sometimes so you may find yourself parking and walking a bit. Pricing is pretty good but sometimes you can't find the price and have to grab one of them to let you know. If you find yourself in the area, I'd encourage you to stop in!

They advertised closing at 3 o'clock on Saturday. I got down there and they were already closed at 230 I called and the fellow said during the fall they closed at 12 noon. It would be nice if that was updated.

One of my favorite spots in Texas! Wonderful selection of native perennials and heirloom veggies you can't buy anywhere else in DFW. Great selection of succulents and some tropicals (sometimes house plants) as well. Bulk heirloom seeds too! Staff is helpful and prices are amazing for the quality. My favorite place to buy plants by far 🌱

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this nursery! The sweet couple (I’m assuming Dennis & wife) are delightful!I called initially for beneficial nematodes. But after visiting the store I will never go to another nursery again!Great quality and pricing on plants, flowers, vegetables, herbs & even top brands of dog food! What a gem of a store!

Today was my first time here and I was just so impressed. I was looking for Victor Grain Free in a 15lb bag and they were out of stock. The owner and his wife searched up and down for me and when they couldn't find that size in stock they offered me a free small bag of Taste of The Wild. I was in good spirits and not complaining at all and they stills told me to just take the small bag free. I ended up spending $10 for two small bags of dog and cat food Taste of The Wild. The fact that they did that for me really shows to me that they take care of their customers. Love this feed store and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Dennis has EVERYTHING a gal with a ranch could ever need for feed and supplies. He’s the most knowledgeable man I’ve ever met. I can call him for advise and he will tell me what I need. His staff is by far the best. They will have you loaded and on the road in no time... well after you get finished soaking up all the knowledge you can with Dennis.

Always go here for my dog and cat food. Friendly and helpful staff. They don’t have a digital register and they don’t always remember the prices so you never know how much you might pay. I’ve never paid more for food there than I would on chewy though. They have good prices on their plants too. I picked up some tomato plants for $2 a piece and a bag of soil for $5.

Best deals in town on Victor dog food. Victor is the highest rated Texas made dog food on the market. Needless to say it costs to feed your dog the best but here the prices are unbeatable! And the customer service is what it should be. Super friendly and helpful. They make you feel like family. Love this place!

Seen the store for years, but recently bought a small farm and my neighbor recommended to shop prices. Boy was I surprised when I looked at some of the more local feed prices being higher quality and lower priced.Definitely a good old boy store, and it is very welcoming.

Lots of veggies, but the inside stock is aged, doesn't look like there's much traffic. The giant TRUMP sign at the front door and the "little black girls eating watermelon" signs around the store was reminiscent of Jim Crow.

Loved shopping here for plants and Dyno Dirt. Dennis was very helpful to guide us in selecting several perennials for a fresh bed we were building. All of the plants are thriving which is unusual for my history of planting, lol. Highly recommend visiting here.

Cute little farm store, but definitely more geared towards gardeners and inner city folk than I am used to a little farther out in the country. Couldn't get any dairy goat or laying hen feed while I was there.
