Be cautious in purchasing gift certificates from this store…they expire. I lost $150, and it doesn’t really matter how long ago my husband purchased it since it was during Covid. Because of that I put off going in person, and then the store relocated to Denton. That move made it very inconvenient for me. Now that I’m ready to make the drive, I realize my certificate has an expiration date. My husband called and talked to Judy who was not helpful at all. Not honoring my certificate feels like our $ was stolen. I’m no longer a customer at this store.

Wonderful store with beautiful examples of Quilts as Art. Helpful and experienced team to help beginners to experts. The store is beautiful and is located on Historic Main Street in Denison. Owner, Karen Riley, is delightful!

The Quilt Asylum is a cute, small quilt shop in downtown Denison. It is clean and bright, cheerful inside. The 2 ladies that helped me were both kind and thoughtful. I didn't have a lot of luck finding what I was after as they only had one of the 4 current fabric lines I was looking for. I was after specifics, and that can be tricky at best. I look forward to visiting the shop again soon and having a few hours to better peruse all the fabrics and patterns and sewing aids that they have! I'm delighted that we continue to have a quilt shop here in town!

My first visit was yesterday, and I'm so glad I was able to stop in. The new Quilt Asylum is light, bright, airy and easy search for "the one" thing you're looking for. Beth and Karen are doing a great job. SUPER customer service!

The Quilt Asylum is absolutely quilting heaven!! I went in the first time today looking for jelly rolls, which I had seen online. They have a huge selection of gorgeous fabrics, patterns, notions and jelly rolls. The quilts on display made me want to stay in there all day and just stare at them. One of the sales associates kindly helped me the entire time I was there and I was quickly checked out when i finished shopping. They told me about quilting classes as well, which look very interesting. I LOVE this store and will definitely be going back!!!

It was their grand opening, so they were understandably busy. They should have had more than one cutting table. As a new quilter I felt like they didn't have the time to give me the kind of help I needed,. At least part of that was business due to the Grand opening. I was disappointed with the amount of fabric selection

Quilt Asylum moved to this location about two years ago.They have a very good selection of all kinds of quilting fabric for all seasons, as well non-reasonable fabrics. The staff is very knowledgeable about quilting and fabrics.
