I always find a thing or two here that I just fall in love with. There's often a piece of furniture that just needs a little bit of tlc to be good as new. It's always fairly well organized, and the staff is always cheerful and helpful.

I actually had to live here for a month with my son about 12 yrs ago. We found ourselves without. I was a single mother with no help. I just needed a safe place to be. God sent us here yup my 4 year old and I. We loved all the help. Took me 5 weeks to find a job get an apt. And we were back on our feet. Amazing angels were there. Always a huge Thank You.

Great place if you're a woman with kids. The female humans up front tho need attitude adjustment. They offer meals but then one lady acts like she pays for it out of her pocket or something. The other lady is too busy eating up the food to assist

Donated some things at this shelter. It was clean, well taken care of & Amanda was very kind & hospitable 😊 They even mailed me a thank you letter with info for if I wanted to claim my donation on my taxes! 😳

Tried to help a homeless man. In a wheel chair. Disabled. Reached out to Trish McElvy. She said if he couldn't get in a top bunk, no. Then she asked, what can he do? Pretty much what anyone in a wheel chair can do. Again she said no. They kept a Japanese American family there for months. They had resources. I know, I fostered their dog while they were there, and they pressed me to accept $300 when they got their place and the dog was returned. I was also a volunteer there. They handed out expired baby food, and pasta riddled with weevils. The Texoma Family Shelter may help some but they turn away the desperate. Big show, but I don't volunteer there any more, and I help who I can personally

This is a very good place for those who are homeless and to get help. Most of the clients work so they can get an apartment or house.

As an Advisory Board member, the TFS offers the opportunity to get assistance when faced with situational homelessness. Shelter, food, clothing and job assistance are offered. Caring staff, clean facility and lots of volunteer opportunities.

Ran by our of date thinking people. Rude and lazy Ra's. Workers steal food on a daily basis from the shelter. So much drama going on inside. Fighting cussing all the time, but if you're friends with the Ra, you're not written up. So many more people could be getting help here if they got rid of the staff there now. The board has no idea! Wake up!

Great place if you are in need of some assistance. They have a store here as well and it is amazing. They have a lot of items and are all priced very cheap.

I stayed at Grayson Co. Shelter a few years ago. It was a rough time in my life and while I was there I had a stroke.The staff was awesome, and they helped me get my disability and allowed me to stay until I recovered from the stroke enough to make it on my own.I would recommend this shelter for anyone in need.

Great place the staff is friendly and very helpful I've been living here for 2 months and they have help me so much thank you everybody for everything you have done for me and I will come and visit and cook for everybody ever once and awhile lol

I went there to fill out paperwork to get food and some of the questions there are hard to answer. They provide shelter for women and men which is just amazing in my opinion God bless them. They deserve all the respect in the world.

They will offer you a nice hot dinner if your in need at 6:00pm. They have a thrift store next door that helps support them. Please donate or shop there.

Was given a tour and explanation of what the facility does for the community. It's trying to help get citizens of the county on track, and a safe place to be. I totally support the facility one hundred percent.

Too many things are wrong with this place! But the worst part about this place is the staff here are the worst inside and out! The only thing they are doing here is making it so horrible to stay here by not doing there part, to where you don't ever want to be homeless in this shelter every again. Im going to guess most of the residents here dont leave this place to go to a home but by getting kicked out. Its just so so sad 😢 Shame! Shame!, on them all..

They are people there are not friendly at all and they try to find ways to bust people because these people here think they are perfect but only Jesus was and they will give an account of things they do to people.

Went here for help on needing food. They gave extremely out of date food items. The only two things they gave that were in date was 2 boxes of Mac and Cheese. Everything else was early 2021-2018....

The clerk is very helpful. They help with food when they have the resources and the clothing center has a wide variety of clothes.
