I dropped by for a few things and when I was checking out, the self checkout said wait for assistance. The bearded associate waited on 3 others, before he came to punch a few buttons at my register, without saying anything and walked away. I then waited again for 2 more customers before he paid me any attention and I had to ask"what's the hold up" then he finally acknowledged me. He said" you didn't pay" and I don't know what his problem is but I had already input my card and payment pin. I had to figure out how to get the receipt on my own. He was totally rude and unhelpful and should be retrained in customer service and his behavior.

There are less and less businesses today with employees who understand the importance of putting the customer first and just using common courtesy while doing the job they were hired to do.I was very impressed with the courtesy of an employee who was on her break at Dollar Tree on Hwy 69 in Denison, Texas.I asked her if I was overlooking gallon jugs of water in the store. She stopped her break, checked the usual placewent into the storage area and found exactly the number of jugs I needed, and she had a nice attitude about it, too.I WILL be shopping at this particular store again for sure!

Morning staff is great. Evening staff is not. They stopped checking people out with a long line to discuss and count the ice outside. Then put my 3 items into 2 bags and declined to give me one of them, so i got all the way home before realizing, ugh. Plus it smells like soured milk and has for weeks.

This place is ALWAY A MESS! However I do like the employees there because they are very friendly summer pretty young and not so friendly just wanna hurry up and get the store closed if you come in 15 minutes before they closed their ready to rush you out the door before you have a chance even get the one item became there for milk! My opinion I believe this store should definitely harm more mature employees when someone gets hired on and they are in a public service helping customers on a daily basis they should definitely be a people person!

The store is a nice one all the employees are nice. The only thing is they do not sale hair care products for people with coarser hair. My grandsons are mixed n i cant buy anything but ebony type products. This store carries nothing of the sort.

This place is the worst place to shop for cleanliness and the girl behind the counter Tiffany short hair with glasses and is extremely sarcastic, there are time she talksSo fast you can’t even makeSense Of what she’sSaying. She’s also extremely 2 faced as I’ve heard her talk about customers in a very Demeening way than smileTo their face. Don’t let the smile fool ya. ALSO WHY ARE THE PRICES GOING UP ON EVERYTHING! Love the store & location. Manager & employees are great. However, I have been looking for Clover Valley Apple pie filling. There is shelf space marked but only has cherry pie filling in stock. Also have tried two weeks ago & again today to get plain manila envelopes & they are still not in stock.

I checked the website at 9:30 pm for the closing time. It read closing soon 10pm. So I walked a few blocks to find a sign on the door that read "Closed for maintenance 9:00 pm."All the lights were out and I don't understand what one hour would matter on an already after hours maintenance call.This might not be a serious matter if I wasn't a nearly 60 yr old women that walked in the dark because it's so much cooler than these unbearable Texas days. I don't believe everything on the internet is true, but I believe large corporations have a certain responsibly to the 60 year old women walking in the dark to buy a few groceries. Just saying!!!

My boyfriend has stage 4 lung he walked to the dollar store and made it there minutes before close. He made to the door just to have the rudest employee I have ever seen lock the door early while the other customers in the store continued to stop. This man has no people skills. I was restaurant manager for years and I tell you McDonald's trains their employees much differently. He is rude when I ask for a reciept he says sorry I already three it away...if I didn't have to shop there trust me I wouldn't!!!!

This DG is so different from the rest, it's clean, employees are friendly and helpful, and it's obviously well ran because there isn't a lot of turn over employee wise, the atmosphere here is just different when you walk in the door.

I like how close this store is to my work but I don't like it when I'm walking around and then the store manager comes out of nowhere on creeper mode. You don't have to watch me like that because I'm not like that. It makes me want to keep shopping at the one closest to my house and the employees and store manager doesn't make you feel like they're on creeper mode.

Horrible experience. Will drive to Sherman before I come here again. The man that checked me out was so rude and acted like I was completely interrupting his precious time. Told me the wrong total and didn't even apologize. His customer service needs work.

They have some really good prices sale's at this moment for the holidays and also items just for a dollar like items like toothpaste hand wash love it. and also they have big pack paper towels for only $5 holiday season, happy holidays.

Better than Sherman Dollar Generals. Staff here is always nice, the isles aren't cluttered like the other stores always are. They are very helpful.

I went in there on the 3rd not thinking I should check dates on my milk 🥛... well I should have because I got milk at 9 pm that was out of date in just 3 hours....no big deal unless you are like me struggling counting change to pay for it...

Dollar General on Hwy 69 was very nice and clean! Associate were very nice and didn't mind helping you without pointing there finger where something was. They would show you.

Store is EXTREMELY cramped. Took FOREVER to check out, employee seemed extremely displeased to be there. I just moved to this area and the dollar general by my old house is WAY better, with much nicer employees.

My visit on this trip was a bit unsettling. Two male employees on duty and one was being very loud and obnoxious. Yelling something at top of his lungs in what sounded as if they were mocking somebody and laughing about it.

I used to spend lots of money at this dollarstore but never again will i step into this place i was looking around in the store and my phone ring i unzip my purse to look for my phone the next thing i know a manager asked to look at the contents of my purse oh hell no i just anwsered my phone my purse was zipped the whole time i was in the store until my phone rang i was in shock

Its in and out for picking up snacks cleaning supples or hair accessories its open space walk ways and easy to find what your searching for on hwy69 but i can't speak for other stores
