Had worries about our water. These fine folks tested our tap, our Beta tank and our main tank waters. Good report. They were extremely helpful and talked us through the process of setting up our tanks for future growth.I would definitely rather do business with a local company, over any of the big box stores, where you can't get any questions answered.Thank you D-N-D. Great place to go looking for fish. The people working there helped me find an algae eating fish appropriate for my size of tank that won't outgrow the living space I can provide for it.And they said if they didn't have it in store, they could special order it for me.

Extremely helpful staff and a great selection of quality products and animals. Went at the end of April to get a new Betta fish and some bottled bacteria for my new tank. Almost a month later, the fish and the tank are doing great.

I’ve been here before and the staff was nice as well as the fish selection—that was over 6 months ago.I paid another visit today and as I walked in I stated I was there to look at their current selection and the employee uncomfortably stared at me not 5 feet away wherever I walked and didn’t say anything. Not a single word just kept staring at me. I left pretty quickly after that because it made me unbelievably uncomfortable. I could even see the employee staring at me through the reflection of the tanks when my back was turned.

Only recently discovered this place. I really needed affordable, healthy, and consistently stocked feeder rats for my ball python, and this place always has at least small-size rats. The place is admittedly a little small & dingy, and has weird/inconvenient hours. However, as far as I can tell, the place is family owned, and they take the care of their animals seriously. Multiple times, I've seen other people come in with their exotic pets, and the staff know the animals' names and handle them with familiarity. All in all, I'm extremely grateful to have these guys in Denison, I'm a regular customer and will remain so.

This place is amazing ,locally owned and operated. The owner is awesome, very informative and helped me out with all my new bearded dragon needs(I had alot of questions as well) . They carry a wide variety of live insects and are very reasonably priced. Since I found this jewel in Denison ,I'm there regularly for my bearded dragons needs

I love this true Pet Store! I have been going to this same place since I was a little girl. They are so much better than the chain stores! They care about their animals from tank babies, to cage babies, to reptiles. I'm so thankful they kept the store open after the owner passed. They have really made it so beautiful and I love how they are so knowledgeable about everything. They are the best place in Texas, and I've been to a ton of pet shops in my lifetime. Forget chain stores! Go to DND!! Go check out what they've done with the place. It's beautiful They have the best prices and will order whatever fish you want. All of our fish are incredible. Our SAP puffers and Green Spotted Puffer is incredible. I was prescribed aquariums as a child and this was the place my mom took me to. I have been in the hobby 30 years, and this is the only place I will ever go to. The staff is wonderful. Justin and Robin are the best! If I could give 100 stars I would. Stopped in just after opening on our way home from Oklahoma. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Very friendly, chatted a bit and made our selection. Good prices on fish. I always like to check out the local fish stores when I go out of town. This one was a nice stop.

You know I had a good experience while I was there. I bought and eel there and I was told it was a snowflake eels but as it’s gotten bigger and grown into its pattern and colors it is very obviously not a snowflake eel. I wasn’t even upset about this. She’s an awesome pet. What I am upset about is I’ve been trying to call the company for literal MONTHS because I do not live in the area. I just wanna know what kind of eels they sell so I can figure out what mine is. This is ridiculous. What kind of a business refuses to answer there phone…

This place is the best!! I'm so thrilled that they recently opened back up!! Not only that but they came back with a vengeance in a major upgrade they have an all new fish room all types of cool fish they special ordered me several South American puffer fish! After scanning the internet for weeks trying to find some. Please support small business and come check this place out they have everything you need and more they have a plant section they have all the different types of meds Omega one food products including their Frozen variety. they have full lb Frozen blood worms packages from Omega one that I've been searching for for two years and she just pull them out of the freezer like a dirt cheap the same price is a 4-oz pack at Petco! No joke! they have mice they have Birds they have all sorts of saltwater and freshwater fish snails you-name-it they've got it and if they don't they will order it for you! Better than petsmart or petco for the simple fact that the people that run this shop are genuine. They weren't there for just a paycheck. The selection is pretty awesome not much, but ya know covid...they can also take special orders for fish. Very knowledgeable about what they have and give great advice. Highly recommend, im definitely a return customer.
