We recently had the pleasure of dining for breakfast at CJ's coffee Cafe and it was a great experience. We were warmly greeted and the staff gave excellent recommendations. The iced caramel macchiatos were perfect, not overly sweet. We were impressed by the portion size of the broccoli cheddar soup. The atmosphere was cozy, friendly and comforting. We really enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back.

I like this cute little cafe in historic downtown Denison. I walked over from the eye doctor, and I couldn't read the coffee menu because my eyes were still dilated. The employees were very nice, and told me what they had, and the prices. The hot chocolate is amazing. I highly recommend it. I also had the avocado/ veggie sandwich. I'll definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, soup, cookies, potatoes, rolls, muffins

I really enjoy coming here after I drop kiddo off at school to catch up on my reading etc. Great tea latte choices! My only complaint is the super loud doorbell sound that goes off the ENTIRE time for the drive through, it's so off-putting and feels unnecessary and very much disrupts the ambiance inside or anyone's ability to focus or read etc. Staff are always welcoming and friendly!

Love love love this place!!! Drink local:) This place has wonderful drink selection as well as food items. My favorite is the B.L.T.A. the bread is homemade and it is served with a side of homemade applesauce. The chicken club is served on a large homemade roll and again one of my favorites. Don't forget the side of ranch though bc they have that GOOD ranch! They offer chicken pot pies along with meat & cheese boards. The baked banana nut oatmeal is a go-to for breakfast. Plus they offer protein shakes! My fav is the Honey Pro-add 2 extra shots of expresso! This has to be one of my favorite places to go since I visit one of their locations atleast twice a week. My kids enjoy a mocha frap with no expresso, kids hot chocolate, fruit cups, and cake pops!

Very kind service at the drive thru. Absolutely try the Blueberry muffin, it was phenomenal.The frappe with chocolate covered coffee beans was delicious and had us wired after drinking half. You don't need a large, but you'll want one.

Katie and I ( Steve) are the owners of Red River Recovery Solutions, and we eat here almost on the daily. As new residents come into our Sober Living Environment, we bring them here, not only because we love Nancy and her son, Jonathan, but because the food is incredibly good, and the Chai Latte is impeccable and matchless. I've tried every local shop, and their chai lattes are a great disappointment after having a CJ's.I recommend you all to try it.

Been going here for 2 years. I wish they would get an app or something to earn rewards. They used to do the punch card and they got rid of it and I was hoping it would be replaced with something and was told they were working on an app, but that's been a year ago and still no app. I visit 4-5 days a week so rewards would be so nice.

This coffee shop is nice and the staffing is really welcoming . Much better than stopping by Starbucks. It’s original in its specialty drinks that they offer. You can order a smoothie, coffee, latte, or even a sandwich. Great place to visit and check out.

We come here often and the staff are nice, but they have forgotten our food the last 3 times we've visited. Doesn't matter if we sit inside or out apparently. There have been 5 people in the driveway since we've been outside today and one man inside. 30 minutes for two 14oz soups seems like a little much, but it's fine. Maybe they're under staffed? What's not fine is when my husband asks about our food he gets attitude. We get the food and the Tuscan soup was too salty to finish.We eat here a lot. This is definitely the worst experience I've had here. Won't be back on Tuesdays for sure.

Update: Went back yesterday and was given one that was liquid so I asked her to remake it. The remake she gave me was like a slushy so I called and asked to speak to the manager. There was a lady who got on the phone and asked me to bring it in and she would remake it and refund me. I said I didn’t want a refund I just wanted my drink made correctly. The consistency should be like a shake not a slushy. That particular lady made the best one I’ve had yet. I hope the manager sees this and has this young lady teach all the workers how to make one. I never finish a 32 ounce mocha pro, but I did that one it was that good. I wish I caught her name as I would request her make it every time. It was 10/10.I absolutely love CJ’s in Sherman, but this one just can’t make a Mocha Pro correctly. Tastes like I’m drinking blended ice with coffee poured in it. Don’t taste any banana or peanut butter. This is the issue every time I go to this location which isn’t often. I think maybe they got it figured out but nope. Sherman needs to teach them how to make blended drinks because they haven’t got it figured out yet. If you like blended ice and coffee go here. If you want a mocha pro made right go to Sherman. The one at Gateway has the same issue. I’ll just keep driving out of my way to go to the Sherman location as I’ve pointed this issue out before and it seems like nothing is changing.

Went here after some friends raved about how great their coffee was. I always have a protein shake for breakfast and I take honey to help with allergies. My friend told me they had this drink called a Honey Pro so I gave it a shot. I took one drink and spit it out. It was so bland and the ice was still in chunks. It definitely wasn't a shake consistency. There coffee may be great, but the protein drink was not.

They offer sugar-free pumpkin spice... need I say more?Ha! no, but I will! The cupcakes are YUM!! My kiddos really enjoy the smoothies, and the atmosphere is inviting.If I'm being picky, I wish they had a better bathroom, but I can't imagine them being in a better location, so if I had to choose between the location and patio they have now, and a different bathroom... I'd ask them not to change a thing! lol!

Good food, coffee and atmosphere. The one star is for how the manager treated us. She was rude and condescending. When confronted about it, she only had more attitude and rudeness to share. Unfortunately, that’s what my group will remember. There is simply no excuse for treating your customers like that.

I moved to Denison about 3 months ago and I wasn’t hopeful for a lot of unique shops in this area. CJs has made my move here quite a pleasant one. Not just coffee but daily soups?? What more could a guy want. Great friendly staff and the best coffee I’ve had. Keep up the good work guys.
