I have nothing but positive things to say about this vet. The staff are friendly, inviting, and seem to truly find joy in animals. My previous fur baby, Cowboy, passed away unexpectedly from cancer. Dr. Warren and staff were extremely comforting, kind, and supportive. They even sent me a card afterwards. Now I bring my current furbaby, Aspen, to Dr. Warren, and I am receiving the same amazing care. You will never be made to feel dumb about asking questions, and staff are very knowledgeable and thorough. I can never see myself using another vet.

Denison Animal Hospital has been our vet for over 15 years. The staff has been consistent over the years, and that tells you something about the heart of the place. I am know as Muttley's dad, and that recognition is appreciated. I am at home with the docs and staff—in good times, and sad times. Care is loving and attentive by professionals who really do care about their patients.

Staff at AH of Denison (from Megan who initially answered my first call to Harley and Michelle) were all superb! Being new to the area, I was worried I wouldn’t find a Vet that I would feel comfortable with. But walking in, the staff were welcoming and immediately make me feel at ease. It didn’t end there! Dr. Ermon was very thorough and took her time with answering all my questions and concerns regarding my fur baby. I did not feel rushed which was important to me.The day after, I received a follow up call directly from Dr. Ermon! Trust me, other Vet offices have a Vet Tech call back but not at AHoDenison! That’s a big deal! It truly shows that they care! They have me! That’s it! Good job AHoDenison! Please keep up the great work! :)

We have been taking our dog and two cats to the Animal Hospital of Denison for many years now. I can't say enough about the caring, compassionate staff and veterinarians. Most recently, Dr. Cruz provided wellness care for our cat, Gracie. Gracie has had bad reactions to immunizations in the past. Dr. Cruz suggested giving her immunizations separately two weeks apart. This plan worked like a charm.

The bedside manner and affordability of this clinic are astounding. They're half the price of vets in the city and a lot tougher. I say tougher because my previous vet wouldn't trim my dog's nails without sedation because he would get aggressive (I totally understand). This vet, however, was okay with our dog being muzzled and trimmed his nails like a champ. We will be bringing our furbaby back here for his next annual exam. 😊

Animal Hospital of Denison never disappoints! Even though I have a very temperamental pup, they always find a way to keep him grounded. He is not excited to see the vet for ANY reason. Katie was extra helpful in keeping Dr. Mayo from being a bite victim today! LoL! And she even got my Beau's nails trimmed with no major incidents! I couldn't be happier with Animal Hospital of Denison.

I am pretty upset. I made an appt for my dog’s neutering surgery. We are regular clients there. I am on a fixed income because I am a senior citizen. When I made the appt for the first opening available I was quoted starting price $236. I took him in for the appt and they changed the basic price to $290! Shelby the receptionist, was very rude and abrupt when I questioned this, not letting me talk. This is the 2nd time they have changed the pricing from what I was quoted. I think the service and Dr.’s are good but the first contacts you have at the desk are a poor representation. Giving one star (and that’s pushing it) was based wholly on this experience.Update: They adjusted the price as what was first quoted, so I gave another star. But, Shelby still needs an attitude adjustment.

There are some great doctors and staff and some not so great. I had a horrible experience with one doctor who did not listen to me or consider my dogs history while she ran expensive diagnostics that turned out unnecessary. I had to bring my dog back again to have tests to see if the previous condition returned which it had. If I hadn't brought my dog back to rule out if previous condition had returned she might not have made it. She had high WBC count with internal infection, but the doctor insisted it was a spinal issue (X-rays showed nothing) and did not want to complete blood work. I am glad I brought my dog back the next day and insisted on blood work.

My furbaby loves her Doctor and the staff. They treat her as the princess she is and we value that. Some reviews make me sad for their experiences because I'm honestly saying they have not let me down. Prices may be higher but unfortunately that's everything and it is everywhere. My furbaby is like my kid and I'm protective over her as my children. She's been spayed, receives prevention medication for fleas and heartworm, received her shots and her required yearly rabies shot, she has a chip, nails clipped, bathed when she's there for her prevention treatment, we call it her spa day 💗 I hope everyone finds a safe and happy place for their fur babies. Her grandpa normally takes her for me and he's treated good too!! 😀

I recently moved to Denison, and this place has been awesome! There are multiple vets working here from different areas depending on what day you go but all of them are fantastic! The prices are reasonable, and they always check to see if you can afford the service before performing it.They are upfront with all costs, and there is no shaming if it is not something you can afford/are interested in. Both of my dogs need very different approaches, and they have always been so patient learning how to handle them.I would recommend it to anyone in the Sherman/Denison area!!!

Took my new dog there to be fixed, they took excellent care of her, she was up and around really quick, price was fair and upfront. Most of the time when you get the " extra cost if they are in heat " you can pretty much count on them being in heat. Brought my 6 month old pup in and I was sure she was about to be in heat and surprisingly she wasn't. Says a lot right there. Be sure to pet the huge white cat.

Absolutely the best vet experience I've ever had all the way around, every single time! We have brought several cats and our large breed dog here. The front office staff is incredibly helpful, responsive and friendly even when they are busy. The vets and technicians are so sweet to the animals, they dote on them and talk sweet to make them feel comfortable and are fast and effective with procedures. They have had many opportunities to talk us into unnecessary testing etc but never do - they will always lay out your options and give you the least invasive/ least expensive options available. Every appointment, I'm floored by their ethical pricing. I'm so grateful to have affordable and compassionate pet care available in our area!

For the first time walking into a vet’s office I didn’t have to force my 1 year old mutt in and drag her by her leash. I opened the door and she let herself in as if we were visiting her grandparent’s house. I had two dogs with me so they put us in a room upon arrival to make it easier on myself while filling out their paper work. Since it was our first time someone came in and explained who they were and what they do as well as questions to know my dogs’ health and lifestyle. Dr. Warren came in and worked at my dogs’ pace to make sure they warmed up given prior notice of past bad experience. At check out, the staff made it known they saw my pets as members of my family and not a paycheck. The visits was the best my dogs have experienced and it was very fair priced. I will be going back and using Dr. Warren as my dogs’ primary care doctor from now on!

Dr. Bradley and her office staff are the best you could find regarding the health of your pet. Dr. Bradley spent a great deal amount of time with my husband and I assuring us that she will figure out the health issue with our 11 month old puppy. Dr. Bradley is full of personality, speaks on our level of understanding, and shows her true love of your pet. Ruby, our baby pictured here would agree as well, I’m sure of it.

I brought Buddy the rescue dog here. He'd been abandoned and mistreated over the years by neighbor people, digging a hole on the side of my house to sleep then making his way to living under my deck. The staff took really good care of him and everyone was involved. They were excited for me to see Buddy's transformation. Now he's a happy dog! Before and after photos included. Most of all the package prices were reasonable and no sticker shock at the end.

This is a fantastic animal clinic. The entire staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful, and the veterinarian was kind and informative. My dog, Lucy, was a little nervous, but they all made the visit very easy for her. Also, I called in today to book a bath and clipping appointment; and the lady on the phone (Shelby, I believe) was also friendly and patient. Highly recommend this veterinarian office.

Worste place ever to take your pet. They have "hospital" right in the name, but won't take your pet in an emergency. Everything 2-3 days out and initial visits are over a week. You tell them your dog is throwing up and has had diarrhea, and you need to get him looked at. They can't do anything to help if your pet needs it quickly. Save yourself time and take your pet to Oklahoma. I should listened to everyone else and just done that.

After receiving a devastating diagnosis for our 7 year old Lab and attempting to proceed with comfort care we decided to get a second opinion from AHD. While the diagnosis remained the same the level of care and compassion greatly increased. From the first visit to the very last one the staff and Dr’s at AHD took such good care of my boy while also being patient and understanding with me. Dr Bradley got down on the floor with us to love on and comfort Remi in his last moments. I’ll never forget that and thank you is not enough. I wish I could remember the names of the technicians that helped us each time we came in so that I could thank them by name as well.

As far as the vet he was amazing with explaining the steps to get my baby feeling better. I have a 75 pound Rhodesian ridgeback , he is a little over a year old and has been having some stomach issues. When the Vet tech Michelle came in to examine him he was a little cautious of her because it is a new place and new people along with he isn’t feeling well. Since he didn’t want to go to her she felt the need to tell me “when we wrap up here you need to get yourself a trainer” Keep in mind my dog is not one bit aggressive, never growled at her or barked, simply just didn’t want her in his bubble. I found it extremely inappropriate for her to comment on that when he didn’t even do anything “bad”. She went on to explain how he needs to be socialized and i need to gain “control”. I won’t be returning for that reason alone.

The staff here is great and seem really caring but I am not really sure what happened yet but somehow my 5 month old shepherd chow mix Penelope was a happy puppy then after her rabies shot that night she began limping and then could barely walk. Idk y this suddenly happened where she falls when she walks. The Dr told me he thinks meningitus and idk for sure either but I have the question in my mind ... did this happen due to her shot being given wrong or if it is just coincidence and bad timing. I do hope this office truly cares about my baby and not make this about money that I just don't have.

Rude, too expensive, and could careless if my doggie died at 3:30 in the morning with no one else open at that time of morning. They wanted $700 for oxygen and a lasik shot. I was told they couldn't do anything to see what was wrong because her condition was too bad and needed oxygen and wouldn't have time before they closed at 7am. Then proceeded with telling me she must be picked up 7am since they closed at that time, and she knew I needed to find a vet that could take her immediately that morning ( most open at 8am). It was very unprofessional and offered no suggestions. It was, pay in full now or no help for her. They knew her oxygen level was too low and needed help immediately. They offered no payment plan, and i didn't have that kinda money on me and especially if i had to take her in a couple of hours to a vet that could actually tell me what was wrong. The girl working the front did ask the doctor if there was anything they could do to help, but she was watching TV and seemed to be bothered with the questions. No other animals or emergencies were going on at that time. I left crying and scared for my lil girl.This place is horrible!!! Do not trust them with your pets.
