As if it isn’t bad enough that this place is 3 or 4 times higher than other grocery stores, they now have carts that the wheels lock and the alarm goes off when you try to leave the store. The worst part is they don’t tell anyone that they have added that and the cashier stands there and lets you try to leave then hears the alarm and says oh I have to scan 2 wheels before it will unlock. Thats quite literally the dumbest thing ever. It’s not a high crime area or anything. I only go here occasionally because it’s closer than Walmart but I don’t care how far I have to drive I won’t waste my time going here anymore.

Had a really bad experience last evening. Came in for app special, and the female assistant manager was not only rude, but didn't even help us, she disappeared. A young man Riley ended up helping, getting our bill from $41 to what we came in for $20. Thank you Riley

Some things are getting out of hand this product and along with some bacon packages are expired and moldy and you still try and sell it to the public prices are bad enough we shouldn't have to buy out dated food at least I don't on line my food shopping I'm sure the ones picking the order don't care I've seen it happen at your store it has come to the conclusion i will be shopping elsewhere

Sales associate refused to check me out at counter. Sales associate turned of register light off and said he was closed, then immediately turned around and checked out an older white man. I can say discrimination and also he had the audacity to have an attitude. Manager only made an excuse why he is not a good customer service associate. Neither did they do anything to keep me as a customer. Well this is one customer that will not shop back in that store. Plus the store smells horrible. Corporate do something about this store !!!

I used to like going here but these days the quality control is disappointing. A few weeks ago 6 out of 8 onions gone bad, when I opened the bag right after grocery shopping. The ham we got 4/13/23 was expired 3/31/23.

It's a nice enough store. But I recently learned that Albertsons doesn't hire full time associates. I don't know if I can support a store that doesn't support its workers or the community. I may have to start shopping in Sherman or Mckinney.

Asked for a 8 piece mix chicken at 12 noon on Sunday,, there was tons of chicken out,, the lady said she didn’t have a 8 piece because she had no chicken legs,, and I was standing there looking at them,, so I said just forget it, went and picked up a few items and of course had to go through self check, ran all, yes I said all of the items,heard each one beep, I then ran beef and it called the attendant,which informed me that I had missed running some items that were in my bag already, basically accused me of stealing,, I absolutely love the pharmacy and will still use them, however after 20 years of shopping at this store, I am done,, it is not the store it once was

Randy made M.Order in WRONG AMOUNT. THEN, refused to OVER RIDE & make New... Kept referencing "We Don't Cash m. Orders.. Escalate Situation. (2-2-'24, 12:45 pm.)Later EVEN MNGR.says... (TWICE, to him & me)" it says RIGHT HERE, wo don't cash m. Orders".. FINALLY, had to tell 'em," i justgot off the phone w/corporate to ESCALATE SITUATION ".THEN, they over ride /& RE-DO M. O.NOTE: RANDY claimed EYE gave wrong amount...1. if i had, i'd admitt it2. A relative issue. Courtesy to Patron.AGAIN I Had the bill, i read audibly...🛑QUOTE:" CHECK THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO"... When you see such a coquettish pumpkin it makes you want to buy... Lol🤣🤣🤣, Alberston's offers are great, the attention of its employees💯, the chicken and the food they prepare are very tasty😋, I recommend the salad with corn kernels🌽, I think I'll repeat it

It was great. Had some great sales. I love their deli dept. Their broccoli salad is my favorite. I can pick up my prescriptions there, too. Staff are super nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable. They also deliver. Really handy when you are ill and not feeling well enough to go get your medications. I Highly recommend the Denison, Texas Albertsons.

The first thing you notice when you come through the door is that it smells terrible and there's a loud fan noise. The prices are high and the fruit quality is average. The female manager doesn't greet customers and isn't very friendly. She's often talking to her staff and doesn't even acknowledge the paying customers. The whole place is low energy!

Pretty ticked off. Had our 11 month old with us, told the meat counter what we wanted. Walked around and came back, maybe 20 30 mins total... husband checked to see if the steaks he was putting up, were for us. The butcher said it was for a call in order. Needless to say, we are now getting Sam's steaks. Really ridiculous. Need to take care of the customers in front of you first.

Jeffrey in the deli is TOP NOTCH!! Excellent attitude and customer service every time! However, I stopped in last night at 7:50 and went to the deli to get one thing. The lady working didn't even ask what I needed, just told me that the slicer had already been cleaned. When I told her that I thought the deli was open until 8, she said that I could still order the pre made food, but that they usually close down the slicers at around 7:30 so they can clean them.

My hometown store, that's not very clean, or friendly, today was awful 😞. The pharmacy staff was just chatting and not waiting on customers and then stocking personal couldn't point out location of merchandise. Only 2 check out lanes, so I decided to use self checkout and no one was there to help with wrong prices. Management needs to retrain all the employees in customer service!

This is my one stop shop for home essentials, groceries and pharmacy needs. I love the self checkout, the bakery and deli always go above and beyond. The meat dept always has the nicest and most knowledgeable staff. & there’s a Starbucks INSIDE!! Try the app for even more savings and perks! It’s amazing!

Shopping there last night and spent about a half hour finding everything only to find there were ZERO cashiers working. When I asked the ONLY employee I could find working, the response was, "Oh, he's on break". While the self checkout aisles were backed up massively. Not only do you have the distinct title of being the most expensive grocery store in the area, you are also the most understaffed store. This is a management issue and needs to be addressed.I left my cart and drove to Kroger in Sherman.

One of the worst places to have a prescription filled I called in to see how long till my prescription would be ready they said at 11am I go in at 12:17 still not ready wait an hour more before I am help by a lady with a really bad attitude. Also you can go in this store at anytime and be hit with the smell of rotting meet just a crappie store all around

Idk why but sherman and denison grocery stores are just awful. From the meat selection to the produce. They have molded jalapeños, hardly ever have cilantro, cabbage, or anything actually in stock and it's incredibly expensive

I used to love going here for their specials and better prices. Used to get 3 12 packs of Zero Dr. Pepper for $12 but now?! $7.49 for 1 12 pack! Everything is going crazy but I could always count on Albertsons. Not any longer. That's sad. 😢
