I just want to give a shout out to the awesome pharmacy team. I have a last minute out-of-state family emergency and had to rush to get my meds refilled and ready with not even a day's notice. One of my prescriptions was out of stock and 2 of my other ones were being transferred to this CVS from another store.I talked to at least one guy and one woman on the phone to see if there was any way for them to have the meds ready before close and they assured me they'd do their best. Well they came through and had all 3 ready to go before close. The one guy even remembered me from calling earlier and when he talked to me the 2nd time told me that the out-of-stock med that I'd asked about earlier had come in and that he should have it ready too!I will tell you, I love HEB but ever since switching my prescriptions to CVS, I am loving it so much more. You can get more info on your prescriptions with the CVS app vs HEB. I rarely have to wait long in line for refills. And the pharmacy team goes above and beyond. Especially the one guy. I wish I could remember his name. All I know is he was there tonight (11/8/23) most of the day up until close. If that helps. Thanks CVS pharmacy!

I was just in here earlier and honestly had a great interaction. I know that retail workers and customers are plastered all over social media with bad interactions, so some positivity is always good to share.First off the pharmacists at this location are easy to speak with, knowledgable and all around very professional and helpful. I had a quick question and was advised on what I should expect and additional solutions to the issue I was facing.Second, and I am kicking myself for not getting his name but, the gentleman behind the counter when I was checking out at 9am this morning (7/26/23) might be one of the most genuine people I've met. The transaction went so smoothly I hardly noticed it but what was immediately evident was the positivity the associate wore even though he was having a rough day personally. It was infectious. I left the store feeling more optimistic and ready for the day then I had been before I walked in.It's sad that people are the reason retail and service jobs are less desirable. That we allow our personal issues and problems to spill in to places where we negatively impact another person. Being short or aggressive with someone who is only doing there job is shameful and we need to call, those who do it, out more often than we do.So thanks for reminding me how uplifting a few brief words and recognition are unnamed CVS associate. I don't if this review will do anything but maybe a few more people will consider what they say and not make your job more difficult than it needs to be.

While it feels like a scaled-down, fringe location on the dusty outskirts of Austin… this CVS has some excellent customer service. Especially the pharmacists are always top-notch. Today Erica really helped me out by expediting a prescription via the drive-thru, ensuring I got the last bottle and saving me from having to come back. Thank you so much! I’m so glad y’all are here.

The store seems to be perpetually understaffed, but the employees that are there are always very kind and helpful. The store is clean and the isles are typically uncluttered.

Glad to see something decent in East Austin. This area has been needing stuff like this for years! And it’s finally here. More things are popping up around it as well. This location should be opening soon!
