Cashier was unfriendly and rude.Made comments about the groceries I picked. I didn't have any junk food and I paid with my bank card. So idk why she felt the need to comment on the food I picked. Didn't even say hello or give a greeting when I walked up and said Hi and put my items on the belt. This was an older lady.

Pleasantly surprised! I could have easily spent at least another hour in here. It's been a long time since I wanted to walk up and down the aisle of a grocery store! An excellent selection to choose from in every department! I didn't realize it was past closing (11:00P.M.) - not one time was it announced over the PA system (we're closing in 5 minutes) nor was I rushed to finish. Which is probably why I lost track of time, lol. I was treated very well by Chris and crew during check out. Thank you! You guys are appreciated.

Foodtown is one of the friendliest supermarkets in town if not the most friendly. I love going there the aisles are clean and wide and I feel comfortable shopping in a supermarket like that. Your employees are really great.

I'm pretty sure I've given this place a review before.I know I mentioned how it's like stepping back in time to the 70s or 80s.Think of it like an attraction at the amusement park. It's the way back time machine. Once you enter through the doors you are now in the late 70s early 80s doing grocery shopping just like they did. It looks, sounds, smells, and feels like the 70sSeriously, it's a weird time machine.

So very thankful for free eggs with $20.00 purchase,I get everything I need an if I'm a few pennies short the Lady at the register pitches in,the baggers are always polite & so helpful! I love Food Town,now 30 yrs.later..

My "GO to store" in a pinch. Prices a bit high but worth as they sometimes open when no other stores are open. Closer than many others. Prices are a "tad" high but the store employees definitely make up for it. Definitely like it better than "HEB 2023".

Oh my goodness their bakery is the best, I had a tres leches cake ordered for my nephew who graduated and he loves tres leches cake. Well I'm not gone a lie but that cake was a very good, moist and made with lots of hard work, I give it a 10 pWe usually have left overs when we order cakes from other places but this cake was the best tres leches cake that it was alll gone in no time!!!! I'm gone a make sure I go back and Thank the 2 employed in the bakery that attended me and did such a great job!

I went for Peardrax and Lip Balm. I almost gave up on finding lip balm, but one of the checkout ladies was really helpful and showed me exactly where they are. Always a good experience at Food Town.Every time I go, I always clear the shelf of Peardrax to give to my little nephew. Hopefully, they have more in the back for the next people...I think the merchant restocks weekly. Today, I noticed a new type of Malt (with coconut). I'm excited to try it. I'm so glad Food Town has a Caribbean section. The only thing they could do better is having someone making fresh Roti with Curry meats.

Although I can find most of the Hispanic items I need, sometimes I can't find a particular item that I used to buy at this store that's not found anywhere else. Used to be the cheaper place to shop goods but not anymore nor after the inflation. Still, best place to get great and quality meat at great proportions without tearing apart the wallet. Friendly customer service, too.
