Jeffrey( I don’t know if I’m spelling his name properly ) is so sweet!! I have never had a bad experience with him and he’s always professional…. He saw me struggling carrying things in my hand and he immediately stopped what he was doing and grabbed me a bucket. Employees with character are hard to come by and employers should do their best to keep those like him!!

Beer cooler never stockedAlways empty.Now everytime i go in the afternoon, the Miller lite and Bush lite always empty. So what does that tell you , not enough space for those two brands. Have talk to the employees and even the Manager, don't seem to care.

This one lady was huffing and puffing about a monster 3 for $6 discount when the label clearly excluded java ones. She said she’s writing a review (although she couldn’t read) the cashier did good work in handling her. Need more ppl like him

SO I GO IN AND BUY BEER! LADY IN FRONT OF ME SHOWED HER ID AND THE CASHIER DIS NOT SCAN IT! I JUST RECENTLY RENEWED MY LICENSE AND THEY GAVE ME A PAPER COPY AND TOOK MY OLD ONE AND CUT IT UP AS THEY ALWAYS DO IN TEXAS. WHEN I SHOWED HIM THE PAPAER ID HE SAID I NEED THE ACTUAL ID TO SCAN IT?????? I SAID YOU DID NOT SCAN THE LADIES IN FRONT OF ME! YOU CAN NOT PICK AND CHOSE WHOS LICENSE TO SCAN AT POINT OF CHECKOUT! PERRRRRIIIIOOOODDDDDD

I bought 3 gift cards, the cashier told me that there was an issue with the transaction. I was charged for 3 cards but only 2 of them had funds. Whenever I asked for a refund I waited 30 mins for them to try and give one and they weren't able to. I gave them my information so they can give me an update. I called them 2 hours later and they told me they are going to call me the next day. Over all I lost that money and I'll never shop there again.

They were okay not too clean as usual dollar stores are usually crowded and stuff is always pretty much everywhere especially stock but they just didn't have what I was looking for I don't know if they just don't care it or not but the staff was friendly and the prices were okay

Was greeted at the door but the store was pretty much in choas. However, they are switching from summer to fall where they will support three major holidays and most likely doing the best they could with only two clerks to get all that done. The store is generally clean which is more than I can say for other Dollar General stores in the area.

I walked into the store to buy a lighter, and the lady wouldn't sell it because I didn't have an ID. I'm a fully grown man with a full beard. And I got ID'd over a stupid lighter. Won't ever come back to this place. Will make sure to tell my friends as well.

I went into this store. I was using my coupons so I allowed about 10 people to go ahead of me cause I knew it'll take a while. The Hispanic cashier had a really bad attitude she didn't greet anyone as they came in and to top it off as she ring my things up she took my items out the bags and made it like I was trying to sell items. She was very unpleasant and this is not the first time I've been in there and was treated this way I wasn't even using coupons last time. I do believe that we all work to make ends meet and I'm not sure if customer service is her career path. Until I see a change I'll never visit this store again

The blonde cashier that works there is always huffing and puffing like a child. She is very rude and never smiles. I hate going there because of her. Makes my experience horrible every time. She needs a new attitude or find a new job!!

Horrible customer service. I went in there with my wife and i asked one of the ladys to use there restroom. She then told me i had to buy somwthing which i told her i was and she told me that i had to buy something first. I thought it was a joke. She then told me to go to subway and use there restroom since i wasnt buying anything. I again told her that i was going to buy somwthing and she told me no your not. I couldnt believe her. It was ridiculous. Bad customer service.

Have lots of items from clothes to toys to food to games. They have cheap prices and the employees are helpful with helping you find what you need. Handicap accessible as well. Usually pretty clean so thats another bonus.

Sylvan Beach is getting nicer. Nice place to go and relax by the water. Gets really busy there in the nice sunny days.

Love the new remodel the store looks so good!!! I work next door and shop at this store 2 to 3 times a day and it is so nice to walk into a nice store with the same friendly helpful faces as before.

Do not like the fact that this or any of the other DG stores do not carry hair products for African Americans. I either have to go to Walmart or Sally's, which i don't want to do sometimes.

Cheap and effective for trying to find dinner for 4 kids at the last second as long as some nosey lady doesnt come in and yell and threaten me with the cops for letting my 12 year old "child" stay in the car when they asked to.

Quick and easy place to find odds and ends that I need. Cashiers sometimes struggle with deals and coupons, but besides that, it's a quick stop.

Like that they've updated their store with a new layout. Just wish the landlord would update with new flooring!Staff is friendly and professional every time I'm there.
