Just wanted to say how greatful I am to have Ethy as a Dollar General associate in my community. We all know how the “hussle & bussle” can be after work. I stopped in to grab a few things while thinking I had a long day , until I seen Ethy working 2 cash registers by herself with a damn smile on her face . I wish I could do more to show my appreciation but I can at least let the community know what a Gem we have in Ethy! Thank you Ethy for being so inspiring!!!!(I may have spelled the young lady’s name wrong)

I went to Dollar General in Deer Park. The older lady and the cashier were so nice. I couldn't find an item and both of them helped me. That meant a lot to me because I really needed the item. I got 2 of them. This IS my Dollar General Store. I have been coming here for years. It is always clean, in order and my favorite dept is the garden area.

I almost gave up on finding lip balm, but one of the checkout ladies was really helpful and showed me exactly where they are. Always a good experience

This store is awesome. The workers are nice, sometimes a little slow. I love going in and checking out the sales items. There is a whole isle of sales items. You can get better deals than at the grocery store on certain items.

Found new navy blue dish towels, dish rags, dish drying mats, and Evan Mintz to match my new kitchen decor. Also got to glass bowls with lids, small cookie sheet and new peeler. Bought everything for under $20. Great bargains.

I went to Dollar General on Center Street in Deer Park. The store was very, very neat. I found a bunch of items really cheap and loved it. The cashier was very friendly and actually said hello, thank you and have a nice afternoon. I almost fainted. No store in Houston or around here has ever done this. I have a store for life. I absolutely LOVE Dollar General.

This is an older store. It is cluttered and pretty much a mess. I did find what I went for and after asking, did get assistance finding the item. All in all, the staff didn't really act like they were eager to help me. But I needed some shipping envelopes which they had, so "any port in a storm".

I have to run in here during lunch sometimes and don't really look forward to it. The store is a complete mess, stuff all over. There is always people in line and transactions for some reason take an unusual amount of time for debit/credit transactions. Also, if you use your debit card be aware that machine may freeze up, this in turn will cause even more delays. Staff is not very friendly either. No hello, hi, how are you, can I help you, or heck let me open another register for you so you can check out faster. If you only get a hour for lunch and have to go in here, time isn't on your side FYI. Otherwise, I love shopping at these stores, just not this one.

I used to love this place but now they have let it go there is stuff all over the place all in the aisles I can't walk or ride the cart with my little one and the associates see me struggling and don't seem to care they don't ever move anything and when I ask them to they get upset or gasp like they want to say something and don't! the prices are always different when you get checked out I got wrung up wrong before and the associate got upset making it seem like it was my fault when they are the ones that mest up and they are not nice no hi or bye or thank you at all I have been shopping here for over 5 yrs but I won't be anymore because of how much it's changed and mainly everything being everywhere I have contacted customer service to get them to resolve the issues and never got a reply and the place stated the same I felt really bad for a lady that was in a wheel chair and couldn't go thru any of the aisles she had to leave and they still didn't care!!! I love dollar general but this one I do not!!!

Every time I am in town for industrial testing I stop by to pick up things that I forgot to pack like razors and shaving foam. They carry the escentuals.

My favorite part of going is getting to visit with Manager Maria while she shows me the new sale items that have just arrived. Thanks so much for my own neighborhood Dollar General in the birthplace of Texas, Deer Park,Texas!

Bought a nice looking shower curtain but needed a couple of tarps and they didn't have tarps of any type.

Always a GREAT place to pick up your odds and ends without having to search through a huge grocery store. Great prices on selected items.

The staff here is always over burdened and under staffed. The aisles in this place is so jammed up and congested that you can hardly get buggies down them. I don't recommend going there at all. Most of the staff are not very friendly either

Have what you need close by but more expensive than Wal-Mart might be. Very crowded in store, sometimes "More" is not better. Staff is friendly and helpful.

They always seem to have everything I need when I go but so much stuff everywhere that needs to be stocked up.. sometimes I cant even reach what I want to get because of stuff being in the way.

A decent selection and you need to bring exact change if exact change if you are paying in cash. SFCU was having issues with their cards so i paid and left.

This place has gone down hill. All the good friendly workers are gone. The cashiers they have now are not very friendly and the place is a mess. The public bathroom is terrible.

Usually have to wait bnb on line or for the cashier to get to the register to check you out. Store also always looks so cluttered.
