Thankful for the store, but I was the produce section would go back to pre COVID. Miss having my bread loaf sliced at the store. Miss getting deli meat and cheese sliced because they would get shaved cuts for ol fashion Subs or large slice ham or other cold meat. Looks like the hot deli is smaller, too.

It is a very clean store. Most Walmarts I have been to usually have dirty floors and trash strewn around. The employees were helpful and pleasant. The only negative was, as always, I had to check myself out.

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!! I regret to say that my encounter with the manager at Walmart, RILEY, was extremely unsatisfactory. The manager displayed an utter lack of professionalism and competence. Their demeanor was dismissive and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard. Not only did the manager fail to address my concerns, but they also seemed indifferent to the needs of both customers and staff. Their lack of leadership was evident in the chaotic atmosphere of the store. Says team-lead but she was in fact NO leader.Communication was virtually non-existent, and any attempts to seek assistance were met with apathy. It’s evident that proper training and leadership are sorely lacking under this store. Overall, my experience with this manager, RILEY, at Walmart was disheartening, and I would caution others to be wary of the management practices in this place. Improvement in leadership and customer service is urgently needed to enhance the overall shopping experience at this location.

What can you say it's a Walmart. The most frustrating thing is the Walmart shoppers and their carts in the way. I know they have a job to do, but some consideration for the in store shoppers would be appreciated.Another thing about this store is it seems they are always out of stock on some things. Not sure whats going on there.

Pretty sad when you sit on the line waiting for someone to answer for so long that the dial tone stops ringing and still never reach anyone for help. Automated system is only as good as the phone operators who are supposed to answer.I will be going to another store that at least answered their phone to confirm product availability.

Went there to buy a toy for my son and one of the managers made up a lie that i had gotten into a confrontation with one of the workers there on which i didn't, so a no trespass was put on me , come to find out the manager was dating my wife behind my back. I think they should both be fired for fratinization . Would be a damn good lawsuit

Look out for the Karen's who work here, they're rude and try to enforce non existent rules about what can be in your cart. Told me you can't put people or dogs, both of which is a lie. I see both all the time, every day here and other Walmarts. It wouldn't have bothered me if this team lead, who claimed to be a manager despite her badge stating otherwise, had asked nicely for my friend to not ride in the cart. But she got very hostile and rude about it. This wannabe managers name is Carrie, as she had to shove the badge in my face as if I couldn't see it. And I mean literally up in my face.The clerks here are usually rude and have been for years, but not this bad.Don't shop here. Not worth the hassle.

12-28-23,My Son and I bought milk at Wal-Mart in Cedar Hill, TX last night!! We got home and was READY TO DRINK IT WITH OUR COOKIES & CUPCAKES & CHOCOLATE GOODIES♡ !!BUT!!!!THE MILK WE !!JUST!! BOUGHT TODAY WAS SPOILED & THE DUE DATE WASN'T EXPIRED UNTIL MID JANUARY,'2024!!! GRRRRRrrrrrrr!!!WE RETURNED THAT MILK TODAY AND WENT TO:WinCO Foods and got our milk plus more things....... from there instead!!!!!!!!

This Walmart is usually well kept and stocked well with merchandise. In my experience, their employees have been helpful and courteous.

I was glad to know how friendly, clean and helpful my father's local Walmart was. Staff answered all of his questions and double checked with another employee to make sure they weren't sending him on a wild goose chase.

The store is too small for the area they are trying to service. There definitely needs to be more stores in the area. They cannot keep up with the demand of goods for the public.

The first time I noticed that the employees were more interested in talking to each other than assisting others in need of help. As I witnessed need of someone struggling in a handicap cart. There were 2 employees ⌚ but didn't attempt to offer any help. They just watched an looked and carried on conversation with a employee who previously work there. Talking about how she was happier not been there an had a life again.

This Wal Mart is exceptional. The people there were happy and helpful. We were engaged several times by employees asking if we need help or anything. The store was inviting and relaxed. Gave off positive vibes. Good job Decatur!

I am changing review to 1 star. Wanted to return two equate products and they don’t stand behind them. Crowded, dirty and not the cheaper prices any longer. I wanted to compare prices and Walmart doesn’t seem to have all the great deals they once offered. Also stock has been way low the past few times I have even entered.

More self checkout stations than cashier checkouts. Food quality on their private brands used to be equal and sometimes better than the national brand, unfortunately that isn't the case anymore. For example, every bag of potatoes i buy has several potatoes that should have never made it into the bag. This is the case with much of their produce, and bread, and meat, and many of their canned goods and even in the non-food areas. However their bakery makes the best homemade cakes around. Otherwise, Quality has gone down but the price continues to rise. Also perhaps consider security guards or off duty officers at the store not just to keep people from stealing, but to protect customers.

The entrance to the Walmart seemed a bit tricky. We turned where we thought the driveway was but ended up at Lowe's, so we had to maneuver around. The store was good. I bought a few things and was able to find what I needed.The bathrooms smelled very bad.

As much as I despise the parking lot at Decatur Walmart more than any other parking lot I've had the displeasure of frequenting, my experience yesterday was remarkable nonetheless.Starting with a phone call to let the pick up associates know I was going to be late, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the gentleman on the other end. Let's face it, Walmart can be scary. Rude. Short. Unprofessional. But yesterday I was met with a friendly, helpful voice.Then, upon arrival of the pick up area, a young man came to my vehicle to greet me, confirm my info, and explain the substitution in my order. He was so genuinely friendly. I think his name is Travis (I asked him, but forgot). He displayed the best kind of customer service - light chitchat while loading up my groceries.I have honestly come to the point where I do not expect anything resembling a warmness at any Walmart anywhere. So to randomly find that kind of quality customer service is a treat.
