Wonderful experience. My 12 year old Boxer started having what I thought were seizures, each one worse than the one before. Took her to Pet Health Center and the doctor was able to diagnose her immediately, it's a heart arrhythmia and she's in danger of sudden death. We started her on medication and within less than 2 months her heart is back to working normally and she is as spry as a puppy. I am so grateful for everyone at Pet Health Center!

I like being able to make appointments. I like that the vet took my pets lab first before going through with the procedure, therefore doing what was the best for the pet. I like how she showed me the results and how she talked to me. The other staff were so friendly and helpful.All was good, although a little high priced.

I absolutely love this vet clinic! Doc has such a kind and loving heart. The vet tech as well, she’s the tall brown haired woman I’m horrible with names. They just have a passion for animals and the front desk staff as well. Overall a great place that I can trust my animals wellbeing and know they will receive the best care. Dr Sterle is far and away the most knowledgeable vet in the metro area. She is also an excellent surgeon. I wouldn’t trust my English bulldog to anyone else.

I made an appointment for my 2 puppies to get spayed. They advised dropping them off between 8am-10am. I showed up at 8:05am & the receptionist was rude. Didn't make eye contact or say hi until after I said good morning. I had to weigh both puppies, one at a time. I ask for help & she responds with well I'm the only one here. I understand that but this was my first time here & I have never had to weigh my animals at any clinic before. After this whole situation, I received a call later in the evening where they advised both puppies did well & to pick them up the next day after 10am, the lady who called was very nice. When I arrived that next day to pick up the puppies, the same receptionist was there & was nice & helpful. (I'm assuming she just doesn't like mornings!) The prices were reasonable & the puppies seemed happy, as happy as they could be haha. Pictured is Hera & Biscuit once we got home from this establishment.

Horrible experience with Dr. Margarette and I'm hearing the Dr. isn't breeder friendly. I took my 63 day pregnant dog to see what could be done about her struggling to push out the new born puppy. The Dr. tried telling me that my dog wasn't 63 days pregnant & that I must've counted the days wrong. Her thoughts was since my dog isn't producing milk there's no way she's 63 days pregnant. Instead of performing the c-section that day she did an ultra-sound & confirmed a heart from the puppy. She advised that I should bring my dog back in a week to perform the c-section if she hadn't delivered naturally. I brought my dog back a week later & the puppy was dead & Dr. told me the reason the puppy died was because my dog is over weight. She had no sympathy at all & also said Rottweilers are crazy & eat there babies.

I did a ton of research on where to take my dog to get fixed. The best price and service was here. They did an amazing job. Hands down worth the hour drive from Dallas. Any major surgery in the future, I will be taking my dog here. I was really happy and felt my puppy was taken care of well. I highly recommend them. They even called to check on him and see how he was doing a couple of days later.

They are wonderful. I had someone I consider to be more like family lose a fur baby unexpectedly, and they not only took excellent care in getting her pup ready for cremation, but they also took care of her as well. They are tender hearted and wonderful people.

I do not normally do reviews! However, I believe they need a big Shout Out of being soooo Awesome! The Vet and her staff were absolutely amazing. My Bassett Hound Otis was fully vaccinated and came down with Parvo. It was the most terrifying thing we have been through with our pets. He was fully vaccinated and a total fluke. Then our 12 week old Bassett Sophie came down with it and that added to it. 2 sick dogs. The Vet saved both of my dogs and I am forever grateful! We now have them home and they are so excited to be reunited. I especially want to thank Barbie on staff for the compassion and grace she had for me during this terrifying experience! I took my injured dog in today and their kindness was so appreciated, I was upset enough as it was. Really, really nice doctor and staff. They definitely earned a new loyal client.

We’ve been coming to this vet for about ten years with our animals and never had an issue until recently. Our dog had to have an emergency c section and was very sick, the vet did a fine job with the procedure but the whole time she was super insensitive towards our situation and talked down to us like we were stupid. She made us feel like our dog had no hope and that it was our fault because we don’t take good enough care of her, which we do. On the other hand the vet techs who helped us were always kind and caring. There’s more I could say about this vet and how rude she is but I won’t. After this traumatic experience we will not be bringing any of our animals back here.

I was here 2 times in 1 month, the old grandma that checks you in, ya her. Told me we had no appointment, and the day before we made one! Our cat was extremely ill and they did take good care of her, I will admit that. The second time I went same issue, Ms grandma telling ME I NEED to do all these test, put my kitten thru more stress that needs to be avoided due her respiratory problem. She is NOT a vet, her job is to answer phones so schedules and check people in, ask questions to take notes for the actual vet! I was beyond pissed being told I have "I'll have the vet test for this, that, the other, and many other test!". I will NOT go back to this clown show. I deserve respect as well as my pets. I'll continue going to plum creek and be treated like family. Super inconsiderate, zero emotions, zero cares to give, it's obvious they just want your money doing unnecessary "test" when I had all the previous paper work from a different vet in my hand!

Great vet. My dog became very sick and they got me in right away. They kept him overnight for IV meds and observation. He was back to his playful self the next afternoon. They even called me a week to see how he was doing. This is now my go to vet.

Our 7 year old German Shepherd had stopped eating and was extremely fatigued. We are first time patients of Dr. Sterle, but she was able to see us Thursday night at 7. When we brought our dog in she gave Azuki a blood transfusion that saved her life. Now Azuki is recovering thanks to the hard work of the Pet Health Center. She gets to come home to her family on Monday, so a huge thanks from our family.Pet Health Center has a friendly and knowledgeable staff who really care for their animals and are willing to go the extra mile for their health. Cost wise they are extremely reasonable and they do not try to gouge customers.

If we could give a minus 2 we would. My wife brought her beloved 14 year old female dog in because she had blood in her vomit. Vet said it was a tumor. She removed it surgically and the dog seemed to be on the road to recovery. Two days later she had a setback and was in obvious distress . My wife brought her back and they performed another surgical procedure. The dog was kept at the vet over the weekend against my wife's wishes (she knew the dog was dying) and wanted her to be at home. The vet insisted on keeping her in a small unattended (except for a brief morning visit by a tech) cage. My wife decided that the best course of action would be to euthanize the dog as she was in obvious pain. The vet gave her an unbelievable lecture about she just didn't want to bother with her dog, etc., etc. Extremely unprofessional and essentially brow beat my wife into submission. Unfortunately the dog passed away in her small cramped cage in severe pain that night alone.On top of everything else the office staff was very rude and unbelievably incompetent. When we brought the dog in initially they scheduled the surgery for Monday; when we went in they had no record of it!We are very upset over the entire episode and I would never recommend this vet under any circumstance!

Everyone that I came in contact with was caring, gentle, and kind. Great Place. We have already gone back 3 times. It's so worth the drive. Staff, and the vetrinarian, Dr Margaret Sterle, DVM is Amazing! They were Very Reasonable on Prices, too! Even though we have to drive 45 minutes or longer, this will be my fur babies' new vet!

I’ll give the Pet Health Center one star, since the office staff were extremely kind and helpful. I was not pleased with our first visit seeing Dr. Sterle (at least I presume that is who we saw - she never introduced herself even though this was our first visit). I took my recently adopted 1-year old shepherd mix for a checkup and to get established with a nearby vet. To be fair I did tell her that I had experienced some occasional aggressiveness from my dog but that it was getting better and asked her if there was something she could give her to “take the edge off” as she was growing into an adult. I have friends with cattle dogs who have used Prozac for dogs with really good results so I thought that might help us get through the next few months or so. She didn’t at all agree (fine, I’m open to suggestions). Without really asking me a lot of questions she informed me that the dog is not an appropriate fit for my family and that the dog can never be trusted and could easily hurt a child. She told me the money I spent on training was a complete waste, I was using the wrong collar, wrong leash, I hadn’t been training her properly and asked if I hit the dog. I told her I assumed she had been abused as a puppy and that I didn’t hit her. I didn’t see her check the dog’s temperature, look in her ears or eyes or anything I would’ve anticipated would be included in a general checkup. She may have done so when she took the dog back to muzzle and clip her nails but never said anything to me about the basics. She seemed annoyed with me in general and her demeanor was intimidating and not what I would describe as kind. She basically just told me there’s no hope for me & the dog. I’ve worked with the dog each day on what she was taught during her time in training and she is improving every day. The fits of bad behavior are fewer and further between and I am learning her patterns and when it is bedtime or she is over stimulated or under exercised. It just would’ve been nice to have a little support and proactive suggestions in dealing with a new dog, and making me feel like I had someone in my corner that would take care of her when medical attention was needed. We’re in search of a better fit for us.

This is veterinarian clinic worth the drive,the Prices are Very reasonable. They were very kind and cared about my wishes to have my dog daughter Red cremated and handled all of it for us . My boss took his dog Rosco to have a few teeth pulled he was like a brand new dog afterwards and it didn't cost a arm and a leg either he was able to leave with all his limbs hehehe, Seriously he was real happy with the cost and care of Rosco.

I have a very sensitive dog , he has a lot of anxiety but everyone at Pet Health Center was able to handle him to remove a tumor on his hind leg. I can’t say thank you enough especially since my dog pulled out all his stitches and they replaced them with staples and order not to remove his cone no matter what. Love this place! They really do care ❤️

I picked up a rescue dog from here to take to Wisconsin. These people are great! Caring, concerned, knowledgeable, willing to teach. I was very impressed. Wish I didn't live over 3 hrs away. Keep it up guys. You're great!!

We got our puppy there about a year ago. When he got really sick and they took excellent care of him!!! Started taking our other dogs there. A couple weeks ago, we had to send our senior female over the rainbow bridge. When I called about getting an emergency visit, the lady that I spoke with was completely heartless!!! Before even asking what was going on told me there was no way that I could get an appointment for that day. Then when I finally got a chance to explain the situation, she told me "well I guess I can pencil you in". Felt totally disrespected & was made to feel like an inconvenience. Found another vet that got us in asap, & they were beyond amazing! Pretty sure we won't be returning to Pet Health.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I took my dog to get an ultrasound and they were extremely rude to me the whole entire time. They did not handle my pregnant dog safely either when performing the ultrasound. Idk if it was because I am Latino but they treated everyone else in there nicely except for me. The doctor is lazy and half a**ed everything. Like if you’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on me! Extremely disappointed. I drove an hour because this place was recommended to me. Pathetic excuse for humans that work there. Never EVER going back there !
