It's a great place, but the yard out back is a total mess .They have stuff just piled up pallets of shaving getting wet. You can't find anythingWhat I would do is have a 50 -75% yard sale and get rid of all that stuff, and start fresh chicken coops that are broken, but they still want high dollar price for .Just have a big sale and let the farmers come in and clean you up.

Bought two trees there a Miss Figgie and a Green Apple tree 😁 beautiful healthy looking, can't wait to eat the fruit! I'll go back to buy plum,peach 🍑 and maybe some other kinds 😁

Wasted trip. A gun safe was advertised as on sale today. Went to the Decatur store to be told “we haven’t had any of those in a long time.” I guess it’s easy to advertise a low price on something you don’t have. I’ll stick to tractor supply.

It's a decent store, however their lack of pricing items is annoying. You can find just about anything you need but expect higher than average prices (if you can find a price listed). The checkout is slow and there is usually a line. Not really customer friendly.

Bomgaars has taken an otherwise anemic ranch supply store and turned it into an inventory rich, one-stop shop. The staff are friendly and they are wrapping up all of their remodeling so the store is feeling more operational.

They're alright. Like tractor supply but feels more like a chain store which is ironic because I think tractor supply is more of a big chain.

Went to buy toys for Christmas, they had a sign up 25% off, we got to the counter, after she rang us up, I asked her about the 25% discount, she said, "oh, that's starts tomorrow". Didn't put our stuff in a bag!! Not impressed.

The service personnel are friendly and helpful. They're going through a remodel right now, and shopping is a bit hard if you're following the department overhead signs.

Love this place. I used to go to Orscheln all the time in Nebraska. I was so excited to see it come to Decatur! There is something for everyone and the people are great!

I was disgusted by the careless treatment of the baby chicks and baby guinea keets they have for sale... they were all freezing because of the ill placement of the water bucket and heat lamps-- they had all of the water buckets placed directly underneath the heat lamp so all of the baby chicks were piled on top of each other trying to get to the heat source I finally begged one of the employees to move the water bucket towards the back so the chicks could get directly underneath the lamp- as it was the baby chicks were having to stand in the water to get close to the heat source and there were way too many birds in one cage- this photo taken was after the water bucket was moved so they are able to stand underneath but they were still stepping on each other trying to huddle... I tried explaining this to several of the employees who could have cared less and kept walking-- my husband and I spend an obscene amount of money in the store, but you can bet we'll never be back!!

Okay, I switched to Orscheln's because TSC chicken feed had so many bad reviews and I noticed my hens weren't doing so well either. I really liked Orscheln's after that.Fortunately for some of us Bomgaars has acquired Orschlen in our neck of the woods. Bomgaars is so new I cannot say if the change is completely positive or not. I can say that it's benefits towards veterans and military are better. 10%, whereas Orscheln was only 5%.If my opinion of Bomgaars changes, I will update my review at that point.

Came in about 7 months ago looking for a dog kennel and was convinced to shop here by the store mgr, Chad. The deals at the store are amazing and it is our go to place for our farm needs… but we had a weird experience today and I’m sharing to hopefully avoid this happening again.Went in to buy chicken and rabbit feed. Rabbit food was placed in the wrong area but I didn’t realize the feed was almost 20 dollars until I looked at my receipt. Since I was the last customer in the store I had to knock etc. The young lady who answered the door consulted with her mgr and took a photo of the sign on one side saying 5 bucks (same food) and the sign on the opposite side saying 20 bucks (same food). She said to me “well we are out of the 5 dollar feed so we put this one 20 dollar feed over here. But if you would have walked around to the other side you would have saw it is actually priced at 20 bucks. “ Why not just leave the 5 dollar spot empty? Who thinks “let me walk around the store to make sure this is right “? I couldn’t get a refund because the registers were already closed... yes, we were offered to bring the item back whenever we can but we do not live in the area and only travel to Decatur to shop here not just for the amazing prices but also the outstanding service the store manager provided us with our first time in the store. His customer service skills are absolutely remarkable…I hope this was just one of their off days. I am not looking forward to another experience like this.

When this store opened, we enjoyed browsing and we purchased dog and pultry food. As time has gone on, the prices have escalated. And worse yet, for the 3rd time - the advertised price doesn't ring up and the customer had to go retrieve proof of price. There is no apparent staffing shortage, plenty of staff members standing around chit chatting, but the excuse seems to be "we're understaffed", that was last week's sign, the computer is wrong... plenty of excuses - just fix it. Buyers, watch the prices, they are kept secret on the monitor where customers can't really see them. We're currently reviewing alternate feed options, just not worth the trouble anymore.

This store almost always has what I’m looking for and has some pretty good deals. But the customer service is sorely lacking. There’s a bunch of teens working there who don’t seem to care one bit about helping the customer unless they are told to. One day I was out in the yard and there were five or six of them out there and not a single one of them came up and asked me if I needed any help. I was trying to get pricing on fencing. I literally had to go find an adult to get help who came out to the yard and helped me find what I needed. The older workers are very helpful and very in tune to customer needs but the teens it seems could not care less. Now I only shop there as a last resort because it is so frustrating.

Such a great store with a lot of variety. A farm to home store that covers a lot of bases for everyday needs. Nice western wear, hunting / fishing equipment, tools for home and farm, lawn care, feed, trailers, zero turn mowers, home decor, and so much more. My wife and I spend a lot of time here.

I do wish things were priced/marked better.. I found horse feed on the center isle that was 14.49 and on the shelf 13.99.. I told the guy working there and when I went back in the next day (cause the bag of Country 11% sweet feed had only oats and corn in it) the bags were all still in the wrong area..and the chicken feed we were looking for had something else in its place too.. ??? The young ladies up front are nice but obviously need more to do cause there is always a group of them chatting at the first 2 registers.. we like this store better than tractor supply but it could use some fine tuning and to be great!

I think of all the stores we have been to since moving to Texas, this is my HAPPY PLACE! When it was around Easter time, seeing those chick's just was something else! I love their clothes, and we have done well on getting in on some fine sales! I love BLING and the ladies belts are incredible! I love the gift section...always something new to purchase! The candy section is my greatest weakness, and I am a Dental Hygienist! Well, a lot of those candies we grew up with and they are not always easy to find! I love just looking and wandering among all the aisles of feed for so many animals....I am curious by nature and this is so much fun! They have had hunting blinds outside that I would like to have just as a fun place for kids to go into when visiting! I was so impressed by those! Also I love that this store often let's vendors or people with special projects display their things outside of the store. We have gotten some very meaningful things people in rehab programs have made. This is a true ALL AMERICANA STORE AND I SURE DO LIKE IT A LOT!! (can you tell?)

Very please with the customer service provided. I went to their stores looking for a particular item, after not seeing it anywhere I spoke to a employee about it. They offer ordering it and also offer to look in the back , after minutes of looking and diving thru pallets they found it. Thank you for the commitment to customer satisfaction. Great job to the whole store.

This store has employees that go out of their way to help find items I'm looking for. I really appreciate all of them. The store is clean and clutter free also stocked completely where items are labeled accordingly. Thank you all for your care of your store and customers.
