I have had several bad experiences at the drive thru. This LAST visit was during a slow time (I was only car at window) but still was not acknowledged for 7 minutes. Then the “service” I received was exceptionally RUDE and the excuse given was short handed.When I told them that’s not my daughter they walked away but then returned and waited on a car that had driven up after me. I did not pick up my meds and told them I’ll be spending my money elsewhere!I have transferred all of my prescriptions to another company.

There is a toxic manager in the pharmacy. On February 1 at approximately 6 PM a customer standing in line inside complained because of the long wait and the manager just said she was just gonna have to wait. Never apologized and was kind of rude and combative to the lady. She should’ve apologized and also when the line is long come out and tell everyone you’re sorry for the wait and you’ll get to them as quickly as possible and maybe offer them a free drink because of the wait. Don’t try to give excuses and be rude and not even apologize to your customers or before long you won’t have any customers and then you won’t have a job to come to. Now she is showing her staff it is ok to treat your customers this way. She needs a lot of customer service training.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make people come inside if they are waiting on a prescription or come back later. 10 cars deep at the drive thru for a prescription is ridiculous. If the people can't be considerate enough then block them from ever using the drive thru again.

Terrible service and smart mouth employees. Everytime I have to deal with the app and Dayton Pharmacy. App is ok..the pharmacy in Dayton is the pain.

Lately it has been taking 2-4 days to get prescription refills for standing prescriptions my wife and I have. Yesterday my doctor phoned in a prescription for an antibiotic, and I have been informed that it will be Monday, 4 days after the prescription was called in, before it will be ready. This nonsense is ridiculous! I guess it is unreasonable to expect a PHARMACY to actually be capable of filling prescriptions in a timely manner!

I rarely give reviews but an making an exception here due to the anger I have continued to experience. I have had bad interactions with 4+ employees for a prescription. To make things short I was basically called a liar and had to demand to speak to a person higher before they would give in and process my refund without me speaking to anyone higher. I got all different types of stories from both employees in the pharmacy but my forcefulness finally got them to give me my refund. I will NEVER go to this Walgreens again and am choosing to drive a distance rather than deal with these Walgreens employees ever again. They are a really bad example of how Walgreens should teach their employees to behave in the pharmacy department.

I have been using various Walgreens pharmacies through out Texas for over 20 years and the Dayton one is by far the worst. The pharmacy manger is rude and not helpful at all. It is no wonder the pharmacy staff is also rude. They apparently all hate their jobs and it shows.

This store has absolutely the worst customer service that I've ever seen with Walgreens. The impression that I was given is that they are doing me a favor by taking my business to them. In other words, you need us more than we need your business. That's why I take my business to Walmart. I got there at 9:55, the pharmacy staff, filed into the Pharmacy single file, they looked at me as the went into the pharmacy. As they were raising the windows, I thought to myself that I'd give them a minute or 2 to get the registers ready, as I paused in speaking, a man walked up the the window and was served before me. Not once, did anyone ask me if I needed any help, I was ignored until they told me to "get in line." Maybe I'm old school, maybe I was expecting someone to say politely " sir may I help you"? Old time customer service is gone with this pharmacy, the customer is more of a nuisance than an asset, which is why I'll never do business with them, I'd also like to say that I've been doing business was Walgreens for the last 35 years my family has always used Walgreens and I have always used Walgreens in the past and this is a classic example of why I discontinued my business with them

Dropping the stars to one due to the fact that Dayton Walgreens has gone off the deep end with doing the best that you deserve when handling things of super importance to the customer. Medications are no joke and the way they show customer service is not respectful or courteous. Goodbye to Walgreens!!!!

This Walgreens pharmacy is so horrible. The way they treat their customers is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. My husband had stage 4 cancer and they way they treated him is uncalled for. I’m filing a formal complaint. You guys are disgusting. Do not go to this Walgreens!!!!!!

The pharmacy is HORRIBLE! I know for sure there are liars working that area. My mother called in a refill on Monday and by Tuesday evening it wasn't refilled. They said they had to call her cardiologist to approve it. The next day was Thanksgiving...no office is open that day. She called the pharmacy back on Friday (3 days after the refill request). They said they still didn't have it refilled because they were unable to contact the doctor's office, but they would give her 3 tablets to last until Monday. She called them today (Monday) and the pharmacist told her her prescription had been denied. She immediately called her doctor's office and they told her Walgreens had NOT contacted them and that they never deny refills on heart medication. They asked my mom which Walgreens she used, she told them the one in Dayton. They told her they had been having a lot of trouble with that pharmacy denying refills without ever contacting the doctor's office. My mother got a call from Walgreens about an hour after she talked to her doctor's office and guess what...her refill was ready!! My mother has been a customer of the Dayton location since it opened, but will be switching to Kroger. I had the same sort of problem with a Walgreens pharmacy at a different location (Atascocita/Humble). I switched to Kroger...a lot cheaper and no problems!! I've been using them for at least 8 years and very happy with them.By the way, the rest of the store at Walgreens is great! The pharmacy just sucks!!

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!! This is on of the most poorly managed stores I have ever tried to use!!! WE are in a pandemic and they really don't seem to care. The pharmacy has literally been closed for a least a week now. They cancelled all the co vid testing and as it turns out I have co vid. Now I can't get my antibiotics We are kind of out in the country so there are no pharmacies around. I just called and they left me on hold for 15 mins then picked up phone and then hung it up. I called back on hold again then the young man informs me that there are no managers on site. NO MANAGERS ON SITE FOR A PANDEMIC! They don't even know when the pharmacy will open again. I mean, come on, Figure out a way to run a POP UP pharmacy people.The only reason I am giving 1 star is because they have to. They really don't have a clue

I would not use this pharmacy. They are unable to meet basic needs. My father was given diabetic test strips, without the ability to purchase the machine to use them with. (They were out of stock, and couldn't get them for days) $$180.00 and they would not refund or exchange for a different strip. How is an elderly person supposed to recoupe such a large expense...and then still have to buy different strips and machine. Why would they fill this without the ability to use them, would have been nice to know before saying you can't return them.

This Walgreens hasn’t ever gotten my prescription or billing correct on the first try. Since June, I have never been able to just pick up my prescription, even when they have texted to tell me that it’s ready. In addition, good luck with the line; they always take forever, whether that’s in store or in the drive thru. I’m about to take all of my prescriptions and go to Brookshire’s instead.

The store itself is fine, but the pharmacy stinks. They were out of my medicine several times. Now my husband needs his meds after surgery and guess what they are out of both medications. How can a pharmacy be out of meds. If they run out, reorder. People can't wait til its convenient for them. Is it not the pharmacists job to make sure they have the proper stuff needed.

Would be nice if they actually opened on time. Hours online and ON THE DOOR both say the store opens at 8:00am. I was there at 8:27am and the rolling door was still down, with no indication of opening soon. On several other occasions my wife has arrived after 8:00am, only to find THEY HAVE YET TO OPEN ON TIME. This is a reoccurring issue with this store. People need to do things on their way to work, to which they CANNOT BE LATE. Terrible location. OPEN ON TIME OR CHANGE THE HOURS.

The pharmacist, Dimitra, at Walgreens in Dayton, TX is awesome. She is very professional and I didnt even feel the Covid booster!!! She was extremely kind and very patient. Thank you.

I have had issues with the Dayton pharmacy for the last 2-3 months. Even with my dr calling Walgreens and faxing over the correct prescription Walgreens keeps losing the prescription and wants to charge me for my medication.

The pharmacy has shorter hours on the weekend. The ER sent my prescription for anti nausea meds there. The pharmacy had closed 30 mins before we arrived.
