it is a welcoming, warm, fun and neat place to shop and work. My husband and our children have been loyal customers since we moved to the area. And, I am very grateful that I can say I am an employee there now. Rebecca is by far one of the best managers that I have ever worked with. and all the other employees there I can honestly say they are my friends. ♥️

It's convenient in a tiny town with not much else, but management doesn't manage very well. Stocking doesn't seem to be a priority, when it's available, and prices are too high for the quality you get.There seems to be an employee turn over and I suspect it's due to the manager, who doesn't seem to care and rarely has a smile, or a positive customer service attitude.The other younger hourly employees have more customer courtesy than the older manager, by far.

Forget the $1.00 concept, but, they’re products are all in date and no expired items are for sale. Other than that employees are very friendly and helpful. Great store to save gas instead of Waco and Corsicana visits.

Store is to cluttered with freight down the isles. Have to crawl over boxes to get an item. This a on going situation.

I usually Love this store but I asked the staff, just out of curiosity, why they didn’t have to wear masks and this older lady with long brown hair and glasses said “they would have to put a gun to my head before I wear one.” Firstly, that kind of statement should not be made to a customer. Secondly, you SHOULD wear the stupid mask. Even if you think it’s dumb, dying is dumber and you risk spreading it to other people.

Ok this post is an "thinking outside of the box" post. So you're traveling, with or without kids, and you don't need gas. Stop here and not a convenience/ gas station. It offers better parking and less coming and going cars or people. It has a public restroom not used by the masses, it offers all the snacks,candy and drinks all with less stress. But here's the bonus, it's bigger you walk more to you get the stretch and if you have kids you can take them to the toy aisle and let them play a little bit to calm him down. BOOM! The best alternative rest stop without having to get gas

The Dawson Family Dollar has very friendly staff. Their stocking is sometimes not up to industry standards. This may be due to staffing restraints due to the unemployment payments.
