Urgent Need for Improved Leadership at Walgreens PharmacyOn March 8th at around 7:30 pm CST, my experience at the Walgreens pharmacy on Northwest Highway and Turtle Creek was markedly disappointing, primarily due to the lead pharmacist’s conduct. Despite prior confirmations with the staff and my doctor, I arrived after a 30-minute drive only to encounter a lack of coordination and accountability, rooted in the lead pharmacist’s attitude.This pharmacist exhibited smug rudeness and a dismissive demeanor, failing to address the errors made under her supervision. Instead of engaging in constructive dialogue, she chose defensiveness, undermining the core principles of customer service. Her apparent belief that she was the sole authority in the pharmacy exacerbated the situation, demonstrating a concerning lack of empathy and managerial skill.This incident not only reflects poorly on the individuals involved but also suggests a broader issue of leadership within this Walgreens pharmacy. Effective management is crucial, and it is evident that the current leadership is not fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, or customer-centricity.For potential customers considering this location, I recommend waiting until there are tangible improvements in management and staff training. It is vital for Walgreens to ensure their pharmacies operate with a focus on accountability, communication, and genuine care for customer concerns.

For several years I have frequented this location because it is convenient for me. That said, the past couple of times I have been in, the staff (with the exception of 1 or 2 people) are apathetic, slow and lazy in their customer care.I cannot say ENOUGH about the awesomeness about the Pharmacists himself, and his team, but the regular store employees need some etiquette training & to realize customers don't HAVE to choose Walgreens.

Wish there is an option to provide negative stars. I arrived at 7:30 pm for passport size photographs. One store employee told me to wait as the other is busy assisting customers. after almost 10 minutes she arrived at the counter and stated we cannot do photographs due to store been understaffed. There were literally 5 customers in the whole store. Nevertheless, I took her word and decided to leave but needed few things to buy. As I spent more time in store, the same employee (AA descent) was walking around in the store doing absolutely nothing. She smirked at another coworker when she saw me and made a comment to her " you didn't leave yet". Very unprofessional and delinquent behavior from staff. I bet if it was AA customer she would have gone above and beyond her limits. Perhaps I can take my business to CVS, but corporate must be made aware of such behavior from an employee. I will be sending an email to corporate. Kindly, also update your website that services will not be provided if store becomes understaffed at any given time.

DO NOT!!!!develop your camera film here. They “sent” my 35mm film out on June 12th well after 5 phone calls...finally went in person today June 27th to find out they NEVER sent them out because their FedEx portal is down and can’t send anything out!!! I called 5 times 3 different people answered and nobody bothered to mention this detail( they would even check on the status pretending like they were already sent straight up lying to me and they even kept giving me ACTUAL dates of arrival.)Lies!!!! my film has been SEATING there for almost 3 weeks now!! Idk how I kept my calm I was beyond pissed…all THEY said was, “ yeah, I’m sorry about that.” I walked out with the film in my hand NOT developed……Oh and the manager was on break in the back room I can see into smh!!

Horrible service just horrible John Carroll you should be ashamed of yourself to allow these employees to talk to people in your store that way I was in there last week to buy Coke products that were on sale it is not my fault that your store still has the old pricing on the shells hire some competent people to remove the pricing as far as I know Walgreens should honor that price instead of arguing semantics. I would like someone to get in touch with me so that I can show you the receipt that I had from last week and what you charged me for those products and the coupons that you gave me and then I can show you the pictures of the shelf with the prices so that you can explain it to me further yes I understand that they are supplied by different people yes I understand that I was not trying to buy the two cokes for buy one get one free what you guys don't understand is you had old pricing on the shell that show the numbers that's your fault honor that if you don't that's false advertising instead of having your manager argue with me about it

Today is Dec 10th 2022 at 6:32 pm. I'd have to say this is the worst customer service I have ever received I'm my entire 5 years of using this store. The management has really fallen off.In short, I placed an order at noon on the walgreen app. I called to verify rhe order had been received at 12:30. The staff member told me yes and it would be processed. I visited the store at 5:25PM. The order is still not processed. I came in contact with an employee - African American short red hair about 5'6. She was still eating food from returning from the back of the store. The exchange was awkward, as I had to repeat my name 3 times and rhen be told I'd have to wait 15 to 20 mins MORE as the orders weren't processed.I left and waited in my car for 20 minutes and returned. Neither poster is completed. Second Manager apologies for the wait - it's been 43 minutes thus far. This second employee is about 5'3 longer hair and apologetic. However she scratches the product. I bring it to her attention and she agrees to waive the charge as it was damaged and I no longer want to wait more than I already have.Meanwhile there are two more guests waiting to be served for the photography sec.Fast forward, both posters are printed and were finally checking out. Great. There is promo code that has been removed which I kindly remind the 2nd manager to correct and add on. Essentially my code should be honored and only one poster charged per the 2nd managers confirmation.In summary, the first Manager comes over and says " No we're not going to honor that. You'll have to resubmit and wait again for a new poster or not take it all." Mind you, this is in front of the other manager who has promised to waive the damaged poster ENTIRELY. I asked her " why would she not honor the error and why would I be subjected to waiting longer as this wasn't my error?" She continued to state no and then attempted to charge me without a promo code entirely. It took myself and the friendly guest Mr. Jolly next to me to explain her error in math and show her the code applied in the app.I cant believe this ... I hear waisted 1 hr and 7 minutes entirely and inconvenienced. The first manager goes even further in her errors. She takes the scratched poster and rips it up in front of myself, 2nd manager, and the other guest.Essentially your team needs better training and lacks accountability entirely. No one is watching the photo section for orders and the managers there used very poor leadership skills and low efforts to remedy the problems created by themselves. I am a paying client... but the cost was not the issue. It's the PRINCIPLE of damaging the poster, wasting a hour of my time, eating km the sales floor, and the confrontational demeanor....Walgreens please train your leadership well or replace them with kind, articulate, problem solving talent that actually like their jobs perhaps. The red haired manager I'm particular had all the resources to resolve this issue.... she was combative unprofessional, and contradictive to her coworker and myself.I usually have such a great exchange here ... I will not return here when in a rush or in need of a professional exchange. Do better for your guests.

If I could rate this Walgreens zero stars I would. Rude lead shift kicked me out of the store for no reason at all. I'm just trying to find a mask for my sick daughter and she made me feel uncomfortable. I don't know if it's the night people buy, I've never had a problem till now.

Most of the staff is nice. If manager wouldn't have been rude I would give a 5. I agree about the older lady pharmacist who is pretty rude. But then there's the male Caucasian pharmacist who has patiently helped me regarding medication questions. But no doubt the drive thru is pretty bad. I've used it twice only two different shifts and it's super slow. The cashier's are nice and helpful. The manager to my surprise was the rudest. When there was a change of store hours and they had sign of old hours. I mentioned it and he seemed upset. I received no apology for my unconvinced of driving.

There’s a cashier at this location that’s really creepy. Be careful with your children here. My daughters only 8 years old and we were all the way at the end of the store and he shouted from the register a weird remark about my little girl’s clothes. He made us uncomfortable, and she left really upset. I was distraught about what had happened when we left so I drove back and got his name from his coworker since he disappeared. Hopefully she wasn’t lying but I think his name is Dan. He has gauges in his ears. Big weirdo vibes.

Cleaning store, not well stocked, and cashiers are not friendly.I have been in the store multiple times due to convenience. Cashiers do not greet or inform you the total of your purchase. My most recent trip in, at the end of the transaction I said thank you to the cashier. She replied with "uh-huh".

I have had multiple dealings with this pharmacy over the past few months and have been waited on courteously each time by the pharmacist and multiple associates. I've had equally positive experiences speaking to the pharmacy associates on the phone, as well. Keep up the good work!

Late evening runs aren’t always easy, especially dealing with a sick child. I searched online and went to the nearest Walgreens near me and saw the pharmacy hours were open until 9pm. I pulled up right at 8:30 pm and had my daughters prescription filled right away. They were quick, efficient and friendly!! I am greatly appreciative for the prompt attentiveness and professionalism!! Thank you!!

This pharmacy is TERRIBLE. I sat in the drive through for over 15 minutes and was ignored by the three pharmacy employees who could see the cars in line clearly through the window. This happened Tuesday 3/1/2016 at 6:30 PM. I rang the bell to ask what was going on and the woman at the window (an old white woman with greying brown hair in a bun) was VERY rude. She said "Did you ring the bell? Well we don't come to the window unless you ring the bell". I have been to this location before and never had to ring. There is usually a line of cars waiting. I avoid this store if possible since they are often out of meds, the wait is always very long, the service is rude, and the store is dingy. When I tried to pick up the prescription--waited 20 minutes inside pharmacy, only to be told that they "can't make it go through." Went through last month at another Walgreens no problem. Finally after half an hour of ignoring me, the clerk told me I had to come back tomorrow and it "might" be done. So I took it to the Oak Lawn Walgreens. No line, nice people, got it in half an hour! And THE DISCOUNT COUPON WENT THROUGH. Avoid the Love Field/Northwest Highway Walgreens, it is the root canal of pharmacies!

I wish I could rate my experience with this location less than 1 star! I went to the in store Fed Ex counter to pick up 3 boxes weighing 50 pounds each. After I signed for the packages they were just left for me to move. I asked the girl for a dolly and the manager came over and handed me a dolly and walked off! Thankfully a fellow customer helped me get my packages to the car. The manager should be ashamed of himself!

Pharmacy drive through is the WORST!!!! Countless times I have gone to drop off a script or to simply pick up when it is READY, and I ALWAYS get BLOCKED in line for WAY TOO LONG! Usually waiting 20-45 minutes. A man in front of me now was sitting for 10 minutes then I was blocked by 3 cars behind me. Tried calling the pharmacy for update and no one answered after 8 minutes. HIRE MORE STAFF!!!!

Robert C. in the pharmacy is very friendly and helpful. We got here an hour to 30 minutes before close with a long line and he had a smile on his face and seemed to be quick and efficient without rushing us. Exceptional customer service!

Profiled much.. Told they did not have a public restroom and cashier refused to give me the code to the bathroom. Lady in the back restocking makeup was more then happy to let me in. When I came out if there restroom I was followed threw the store by the same cashier who was starring over my shoulder while shopping for condoms. NJ priced inventory on top of having a creepy troll looking guy monitor me while shopping for personal items.... I got what items I was there for and left it at the counter and informed creepy cashier guy why I was not going to purchase them. Hopefully he will think about his actions while putting my stuff backup. Off to Walmart to save the $10 on 2 items. The stock lady got them a star for her outstanding attitude and customer service.

I was here today for my son Covid 19 vaccine.I apologizing for I was so sad because I didn't know that I should have my son ID card with me because I don't get any notification by pharmacy notice as usual when we had adult vaccine.If they could send us a notification for that, we don't need be stressed as we drive 45mins on highway and bad traffic time.Thanks

Too many issues to count. Seems like once a week or so they're having issues with the register. You'll stand in line for several minutes before someone tells you to go to the photo counter or cosmetics or wherever it happens to be that day to check out. Poor/no signage and poor communication. Today, if you didn't have cash you were SOL and told to "go to the ATM". No thanks. I'll go elsewhere in the future.

The pharmacy is not so efficient. However it's not just this location . I found this to be true of many Walgreens in Dallas. There used to be an older lady who worked here, who was nice at least. However she has been replaced with a new pharmacist who is very inpatient, aggressive and not nice. It's still 1000x better than the one on Oaklawn but that isn't saying much

They showed up ready to work, and even provided an additional service of checking our employees blood pressure. Each Walgreen's employee had a smile on their face, and was very cooperative before, during, and after our Health Fair. This is their 2nd year attending our Health & Wellness Fair. I certainly hope they return, their services, and smiles were definitely appreciated. I suggest you all contact them for your health fair/ flu clinic needs!

This Walgreens Pharmacy is the worst I have Ever been to, they are understaffed and the wait is always more than 1 hour... if not they tell you to come and pick back up in two hours and when you get there you have to wait another hour to pick up!! I live in the neighborhood and instead I will have to drive further away to go to a decent pharmacy. Staff is so rude as well! 👎🏻😡

Paying customer and they would not let me use the restroom after 6pm because “the homless come in at that time” so even if the restrooms have pin lock, I could not get the code to go in there. I guess they didn’t want my money. I couldn’t hold it and I wasn’t going to go back. Took my money to their highest competition. Staff was rude about it on top of it.

This walgreen is one the best only thing is that there is alot of homeless people in this area and go in the store and run out the product. So they never can keep stuff stocked because there is alot of theft here... The employees are are very nice and respectful and are always willing to help!!! Thank you guys keep up the good work!!!

The pharmacy tech didn't punch in the insurance information correctly. Despite having our phone number, she didn't call us. We had to find out 2.5 hours later that the prescription wasn't filled. She failed to own up to her mistake and made no attempt to make it right. I will never go to this Walgreen's again and will avoid any Walgreen's if possible.

Fantastic! For those of you reading this review this Walgreens will be doing actual 1-HR Photo processing for the next few months or so (today = 04/30/15). Everyone has a digital camera but for some, we like it old school and prefer to get our prints in an hour! woot! woot!

This pharmacy location has very poor customer service and is not efficient in filling prescriptions. With over 30 minutes on hold, several voicemails and previous attempts at reaching a staff member I will now be using a different company for my prescriptions.
