I have a tiny senior dog that has special health precautions, so I was nervous about leaving her behind for a week stay. So glad I found The Pooch Patio. I was able to tour the facility, which smelled remarkably clean, no urine or strong chemical cleaner odor. Their system of rotating dogs in and outside for play and potty is well-organized. I loved being able to see my dog on camera when she was outside. They followed my feeding instructions to the letter, accommodated special requests like having her own bed in her suite and a potty pad at night. It's on the pricey side, but worth every penny to have peace of mind when your dog needs to board. Thanks everyone at Pooch Patio! Mel had a nice visit!

Pooch Patio groomed our dog for the four years while we lived in Dallas. Our Miniature Schnauzer Greta always received a great haircut! We appreciated the clean space, attention to detail, and the care Greta received. We've since moved out of state, and we miss Pooch Patio – thank you Pooch Patio team!

Jackson and Mandy my 2 doodle puppies LOVE Pooch Patio! The Team is AMAZING!They always clean up after potty breaks immediately and keep a very clean and happy environment.If they could go everyday for day play it would be their perfect day for them. I decided to try this place after trying other grooming/daycares and I have nothing but positive words! Everyone was so nice and welcoming when my pup and I came in. They asked the right questions when it came to what I was wanting. I was very happy with my pups haircut! We will definitely be back for daycare and grooming!

THE BEST dog daycare in Texas! The front desk staff is so friendly, always available, and knows our doggo by name. We love that they have webcams for each room, always have staff present WITH the dogs, and separate the big ones from the medium and little ones (for safety).The establishment is spectacularly clean, doesn’t smell like ammonia, and also offers boarding and grooming!We know Obie is in good hands when I drop him off. I called to book an appointment over the phone. A staff member referred me to the website to set up an account and a profile for my pets. I also uploaded their shot records which was all an easy process. I was told to arrive by 8 am to drop my pets off because they are released in the order that they arrive. I got there the morning of the appointment and was greeted by “the staff” at the front desk which made me smile so big!! They ask about the type of hair cut and even showed me pictures and made recommendations. I received a phone call to pick them up and they did a great job on the hair cuts and the price was reasonable. They offer boarding and daycare too which is a 1 stop shop for me!! I do recommend The Pooch Patio to you and I’m glad it was recommended to me!!!

great groomers but have been taking an entire day the past few times to groom my dogs. 8-4. last time they didn’t cut my dogs nails and didn’t tell me until i came and wouldn’t take him back to cut them. today, they’ve been difficult on the phone and keep giving me conflicting answers about my dogs. will be finding another groomer.

Best place to take your dog! I trusted them with my late Damino/Dan who had terminal lung cancer and they did not disappoint! While boarding they gave him many pills at all times of the day and lots of love. He was always happy to go there and did not lose weight due to stress while there. His weight was very stable for the majority of the time I had him but that’s a common issue with kennels so I was worried about that it.Now I bring my Arthur there for play dates and will take him for boarding soon too. They are so kind and I love them for taking such great care of my furry children.That being said, boarding is expensive!! You get what you pay for though. Daycare is reasonably priced for me anyways. 33$ for a full day. The hours are the best though! A full day can be 6am to 8pm! That’s over 12 hours so when they say FULL day they mean it. They can deliver your dog to you in a van if you can’t go pick them up from the kennel which is something I have never heard of. Truly amazing but of course very pricey. They just have so many services and accommodations like teeth cleaning without anesthesia and dog training I mean come on! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Overall, if you can afford it, it’s worth it. Highest of quality care. I have included pictures of my babies for fun.

We absolutely love Pooch Patio for grooming our doodles! They are always great with understanding our cut requests (we prefer shorter cut and shaped ears) and I trust that they really care for and love our pups while we are gone. Additionally, one of our dogs can be a bit difficult with grooming, and they called me to make a plan of action to keep my pup safe/calm and their staff safe - all with very proactive and friendly communication. Couldn’t imagine sending our pups anywhere else for grooming!

Update May 8 2024.3 1/2 years later, I'm still here. 5 star. I like working here. There are some bad days and good days, but overall, you have something in your pocket until something else comes along. You make the most of it.I thought about leaving my appointment cause I wasn't gunna get sick for nobody. But I decided I was gunna wait until 11.2 1/2 starsI was not to happy at all when I came for my Interview last week. I wasn't offered a set or asked if I wanted to wait in the corner, when I told one of the ladies at the desk I didn't have a car. I had to wait outside in the cold while it rained off and on for a hour.5 starsThe Manager and everyone in the back was super nice and polite.

The grooming at Pooch Patio is the BEST!! We have been taking Volta here for two years and every groom is perfect! She is a goldendoodle and they are really experienced with this breed. The daycare/boarding is also great, easy to book and safe. Love having cameras to watch Volta as she plays. Would recommend Pooch Patio to anyone!!

We love Pooch Patio! They do the best grooming job for our cavapoo. She’s never scared to go in, loves the puppy play time and I know my dog is safe there. Great staff as well, highly recommend!

I have gone to about 4 different places to get my little love groomed. He always comes out looking either silly and not what I aksed for. We tried the Pooch patio today for the first time and we won’t ever go anywhere else. He looks soooo handsome smells amazing and struts his butt like he knows he looks good. The little bandana around his neck topped off the cuteness level. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Typically Zeke hates going to the groomers and being away from us. He was dropped off today and cheerfully went back with no hesitation and came out just as happy. Thank y’all for taking such good care of my little blue eyes baby boy.

This place always takes care of my sweet fur baby, Truffles. A bit more expensive than your run of the mill groomer but they always deliver a clean and quofted puppy dog. A++ would recommend.

We have a pandemic pup who has never known life with daddy working from home. Recently my husband had to return to the office a few days a week & because our dog Julio has such bad separation anxiety we decided to try doggy day care. Our experience has been great!! I love that I can keep an eye on him via the doggy cams. They have techs in the room with them at all times & they switch out regularly. They play with the dogs & give them cuddles. We’re grateful our fur baby is in good hands! Staff is great & very friendly!

Love Pooch patio! I was so nervous about trying a new groomer and I don’t trust just anyone with my Pomeranian! But they do an incredible job. If you are a Pomeranian owner, I 100% recommend them to cut your pup! So professional and for a very reasonable price.

Brought my Little pup here for a cut. He needed it desperately. I guess his whole body was full of knots and very painful for him. He didn’t seem that way but nevertheless, I came to get his haircut. The service was exceptional. They kept me up to date and gave me options on how to proceed with this little guy. Definitely coming here again to get his future cuts. I know several dog owners who are apprehensive toward boarding their dog or placing them in daycare, and I wish they would get a chance to meet the staff at the Patio. The hype they have for my pooch is super heart-warming. Especially Desiree has always treated my pupper like family. She gets to know every doggo at the patio and obviously loves them. Another super convenient aspect about this daycare is that they can provide bordetella shots in case your dog's immunity expires before the next time you need to drop them off. The Patio Staff is also great about communicating with our vet to verify shot records which was super convenient when getting started. Tldr: feel good about leaving your dog (or cat) in their care.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service received this morning. I was turned away from my dog’s grooming appointment, even though the error was obviously made on The Pooch Patio’s end. I called to book this appt over a week ago and was told specifically that since I wanted a grooming appt and not just a bath the soonest available was today. When I showed up with my dog, I was told I did not have a grooming appt, but a bathing appt. even though I specifically said no when asked if I wanted the same service as last time (bath only).My husband and I are on a “staycation” in Grapevine and woke up at the crack of dawn to pick up our pup from a friend in Grand Prairie, to make it to our 8am drop off time. Only to be turned away and left to find other arrangements for our pup.I have a goldendoodle which has long hair that easily mats. I repeatedly made the scheduler aware that I wanted a GROOM. Whether or not I wanted his hair cut short or just trimmed, I had left up to the groomer depending on the amount of matting. The employee even read me the appointment notes which stated if dematting will require too much time or money, I would like a full haircut. So it seems to me there should have been time allowed for a full groom either way. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of compromise or accountability of the staff and will not be coming back.

I am a new dog owner and I had made a reservation elsewhere for today. When I got the reminder email last night, they had conveniently forgot to mention a large deposit required which I refused to pay as I was just shopping for a good place. Morning of when I had plans, I am in a pinch to find a different day care. Mind you this is a 4 month old puppy so limitations of most places meant they were not an option. Pooch patio was a bit further than my original search but it's a perfect location. Nearby my plans, they had no issues taking him, he was in a group with dogs his size and they had web cams. Staff was friendly and welcoming. At pickup, I was told first daycare visit is free for new clients and they adored our baby. They even told us about a corgi club they have. I am a customer for life because it was obvious they ADORE pups of all kinds based on what I saw on the web cams. Thank you for everything and we will see you soon!

I absolutely love and trust this groomer. They are completely professional and have great groomer and stylist. For an additional charge, you can allow your dog to play in doggy daycare which is amazing too me. They also have a video camera which you can watch and your little fur baby have fun with other doggies. The prices are on the higher end but completely worth the money. I will not take Livi anywhere else besides here.

This is the best place so far for grooming. Friendly staff. Well organized. Catering to our needs. They redid my dog's hair when I was not satisfied with the 1st hair cut and my dog came out looking phenomenal. Need to schedule appointment ahead (they are busy) and drop off in the early morning.

This place is so well run. I am over the top impressed. April (the owner) has covered every possible detail, and it shows. I left my “senior” pups here for the first time and admittedly was nervous about making such a big change. Not only did PP have the perfect boarding program for my fur babies, but when I picked them up at the end of their week long stay, they were so calm and content! They looked healthy and rested. This has never been the case with previous providers. I also called multiple times during the week to check on my pups and everyone I spoke with was so kind. And I’m sure I drove them crazy! I am thrilled to have found Pooch Patio and look forward to being able to travel in the future without having to worry about my babies.
