This review is really about Grooming. It might be a decent Petsmart. But I’m not pleased with the grooming personnel and the job they did on my girl. They did NOT listen to my fiancée earlier when she carefully explained what we wanted done. I’m even less pleased that they never brought her out once so she could relieve herself. Nor did they mention in advance that this refusal to bring dogs out to let them relieve themselves is part of their policy. I guess not nearly as many people would be cool with the idea that their dog will just have to hold it for a long time. When our girl finally got outside, she went for a long time and then drank *a lot* of water - far more than usual after she has held it for a while. Never again are we bringing our dog here. If you’re thinking about having your dog groomed here, consider some of the other reviews as well, not just mine.

Jose in the aquarium section is such an amazing employee. I have visited at least 4 times in the past week because I'm setting up a new tank. He is very knowledgeable and convinced me to get some peacock gudgeons (and some otocinclus catfish and neon tetras), which are all the cheapest prices I have seen after visiting two other local fish stores.

This is THE WORST grooming service i’ve ever gotten. I took my shorkie for a hair cut and they completely shaved him, so much so that you can see his skin. They made him look like a chihuahua, all of his hair is gone! His hair was long but he was not matted.I don’t think these people know what they’re doing, i should have walked away when they put a collar around his neck when it should be common knowledge that some breeds require harnesses because of their neck’s fragility.Michaela was the person who groomed my dog and took him in but i don’t think it matters as I saw another groomer passing the clippers over and over again a labradoodle’s leg. The dog was SHAKING and she used 0 soothing mechanisms but instead was over grooming this poor dog. This place ABSOLUTELY SUCKS.The picture on the left is how they left my dog, the one on the right is typically his before and after.

Honestly if you're trying to apply here good luck. I was told to wait 20 minutes for my interview after I arrived because the manager wasn't organized and didn't even get called back to let me know if I got the job or not. The location also is short staffed so it was to the point customers knocked on the door because the employees walked off doing whatever it is they were doing.

The staff at Banfield is amazing! Had a little scare with my fur baby and they took him in quickly and made sure he was okay. They also have a great communication on proactive things to keep your fur babies staying healthy

Store is well stocked, clean, and the animals are well cared for. Very strange inflexible adoption policies though. No showings outside of appointments.They give their kittens and cats “play time” during the day where they can roam and interact with each other

Just visited the store 10 min before closing because DoorDash same delivery messed up my order. The cashier was EXTREMELY kind when checking me out, she was so sweet! and the manager was EXTREMELY kind for price matching the cat tree to their online pricing when it was up to his discretion!The next employee was also EXTREMELY kind for helping me load my cat tree into the car! Thank you guys so much! Yall have made my new kitty’s life so much easier after separating him from my dogs! Thank you!!!!

Have you ever picked up your dog after his grooming session here? If so, you may be wondering if they did all the things that you paid to have done. Well, that was me this weekend. After picking up my dog i noticed that his haircut wasn’t that great nor were his ears properly clean. Which makes me wonder if the groomers genuinely do all the procedures properly that you’ve paid for.

The manager at least that is what she said I came in at 8:50 to buy some fish for my aquarium she told me the aquarium side closed at 8 pm but the store close at 9:00 pm but she is standing on the aquarium side with the fish playing swear she can't sale the fish but she the manager wow what are you managing lady the store you was not but hiding to play on your phone you was doing that. I will go to petco maybe they want the business of selling fish so therefore they not just sitting in store waiting to be soldOr maybe petsmart want to babysit the fish and not sale them

Rose in grooming was closing at 530, I was told by rsvp open til 6. I arrived at 511. At 1st Rose said she could not trim my puppers nails, she ended up trimming his nails for me and was the nicest about doing so. She got her tools back out and took care of us, lightening fast too. My pup fell quickly for her kind and gentle hands. Thank you Rose!!

Great service in the grooming department. This location has a great selection of food and supplies for all oets--especially cats and dogs. The grooming staff is friendly and focused which I appreciate. The app will notify you when you let is ready. Additionally, if you are getting only boutique services (e.g. nail clip and/or grind) the service will take under 15 mins and they'll call you over the intercom wh r you let us ready. Pet adoptions are held on weekends. The only down side They generally only have 1 cashier working at a time so you may be in line for a few minutes.

I take my chiweenie Bowie to Petsmart near University Park in Dallas because they are the best. In fact, I drive past two other Petsmart stores just to take him to this one in Old Town Shopping Center. He is a little shy and very sensitive regarding his paws and teeth. They always handle him with extreme loving care. Last Saturday I took him there and Callie & Roxy were working. They are both super fun, informative and really give a damn about my little pooch. They suggested I do a nail grind along with the nail trim since it had been awhile since Bowie had been in. After Roxy inspected Bowie, she suggested a teeth brushing to remove the plaque that had built up. I said sure, if he would let them do it, and she promised me she wouldn't do it or charge me if he didn't let them do it. I also pointed out the hair growing out between his pads on his paws, and reminded them that he was really sensitive there, and Roxy assured me she would be extra careful. I had him checked in at 8am, and he was bathed, brushed, trimmed and ready at 9am... that was awesome. When I picked him up, Bowie let them do all of it, even the teeth cleaning and nail grinding, and I was very, very impressed. And, I got a scratch off coupon for like $10 off my services on the spot... nice. This is why I will drive past the other two locations where I've had just "ok" service to go and see Roxy and Callie at University Park to get totally professional over-the-top amazeballs service. Thank you both, especially Roxy, for making Bowie a clean and fresh breath smelling happy doggie camper... see ya in a couple of weeks!!!

I really like Petsmart policy on letting you in the store before 8 o'clock if you want to just get things early. Officially the store doesn't open till nine but if you're having your pet groomed they let you in early but if you are there just to get that food one of their friendly staff will take care of you. To me that is great service thank you Petco for being a good neighbor and caring about your customers!

Yayyyy. Excited to share this experience.When I was pregnant in 2020, I moved to California to be with family especially because of the pandemic. Story for another what being pregnant and having a baby during the pandemic felt like. Anyways, my aunt has a small fish tank, she had a first fish (flipper) who had been with her for years. Then she added a second one when I was there (clipper) Unfortunately, flipper got killed by clipper, apparently there were 2 different breeds who don't co-exist.Long story short, I fell in love with just watching them move. I started feeding them and when flipper died, I was sad haha. That's when I realized I had fallen in love with fish pets.Well, moved back to my city and decided to get me one. The staff at Petsmart were absolutely helpful. Took their time to explain the process. The whole process took a few days because you have to treat the water before putting the fish in of which I had no idea.Well, I have 4 beautiful dalmatian -mickey mouse breed. Gold and yellow. It is soothing to watch them. I will advise to get a tank with dim lights, it was more beautiful to watch the tank at night in glowing light. Mine has the white LED light. I still love it though but just saying the darker lights will be better.

We found an orphaned baby bunny and had no idea how to care for it. The vet lady in the back told us where to find the bunny milk and then an associate helped us pick the right kind of bunny milk for our bunny. Now, a week later, that little bunny is healthier than ever and growing fast. Couldn’t have helped this little guy the way he needed without Petsmart’s knowledgeable and friendly employees.

Very friendly staff and overall great prices. They have live animals as well which was a total serotonin boost! I am looking forward to adopt a kitten from here soon! I highly recommend.

Your store was understaffed. I got no help with my purchase. One person was checking people out. I waited a long time. One customer bought some food that needed a prescription which she forgot. We waited until someone in the vet office approved her purchase. A woman's dog ran out the front door and the cashier chased the dog. A shoplifter was walking out with merchandise and the cashier tried to stop him. That's the reason for my score.

I would never recommend someone using the Banfield pet care plan. I will absolutely never seek this out again. There are way too many hidden fees and the monthly plan does not cover everything you really need. I’m a first time cat owner and it sounded promising with a decent price upfront, however every time I go in, there is a new thing I have to pay for. Even though I’m paying monthly for this plan. I’m thankful that my cats were spayed and neutered and had an easy recovery, but again, there have been way too many hidden BS fees that make the entire thing not worth it. Do not get it!!

Store has a great selection, but the lines are ALWAYS long. There's typically only one checkout open. They have no dedicated person ready to help with online pickup. Be ready to wait at least 10min-15min in line.

My dog had her first grooming at this location and she has anxiety. The staff accepted the treats she likes and were so gentle with her!Also bought my sons snake here and the snake has done really well, he seems healthy so far. Great staff!

The training classes are excellent. After only a few classes, my dog is confident, calmer, and better-behaved. Marlon truly goes above and beyond to train dogs from wherever they’re at and teach people what they need to know to keep it up.
