I appreciate Izzy the cashier for providing top notch customer service. She was able to answer the questions I had in detail. She also was multitasking in an efficient manner but still ensuring customers were taken care of. I was able to purchase everything I was looking for thanks to her. I hope she is recieving the recognition she deserves at this store.This location provides a great selection of items and I was very pleased to find everything I was looking for and more.I do want to mention there was a customer who obviously did not plan her day correctly and was being extremely rude to all employees. I completely understand the customers frustration BUT the comments and actions were so unnecessary on her end. She was whistling and calling out for someone to bring her dog out from grooming asap. They communicated with her it would take a short while … this lady was just very impatient.Anyways lastly my experience here was amazing and I will definitely come here again. Also again , thank you Izzy for helping me and my friends (my pet too) !! Keep doing what you do !! 🐾

They refused to groom my dog even tho he has an appointment and has been going to this location for the past 5 years!!! And apparently the manager doesn't work morning shifts and is the only one capable of grooming him. My dog weighs less then 8 lbs and has never bit or hurt anyone..the only times we have had issues is that he gets anxious when left in the back for more then a hr because they seem to always be running behind and then blame the dogs for not being easy to work with! Which is why I started taking him at 815 to make sure he is on his best behavior but now that's not enough!

I went here for self-service shower and it was a disaster. First the shower area is a mess with 1 tub is like a dumpster. Then the shampoo features are not working and the shampoo provided is diluted with too much water. The blower is hardly working to dry something with the dog. The towels ate old and cheap. Nothing worth the $20 charge. I will definitely be back to my old shower place in my next visit.

Matthew in the pet grooming department does such a great job with our dog! He is very gentle and kind with her, and gives her a great haircut! Even when she’s matted he doesn’t completely “shave” her down, but takes his time making her look beautiful and fluffy her tail. We (maybe not our dog), look forward to future grooms with Matthew! He also went above and beyond, and called PetCo customer service to ensure we could use our coupon!

I got the Premiere vital care because I am a first time dog owner and I liked the idea that I could take my puppy to get checked anytime for paying a monthly fee of a little over $20. Every single time I come I have to pay for a lab in order to diagnose my dog and the medication (which was fine in the beginning) but I kept having to come back with issues for my puppy and each time I came, I left spending over $100 EACH TIME. There was always something to test and always medication to give for each problem.I was recently given antibiotics for my puppy because of a skin condition, he took all of the medication and his skin condition came back COMPLETELY WORSE. I was told I have to book another appointment for the doctor to see him and will most likely have to pay for a stronger dose of medication. I understand doctors will not get it right every single time, and that’s okay- however I don’t think it’s fair that I have to pay for another dose of “stronger” medication and will most likely have to pay for those lab fees to test his skin ALLL OVER AGAIN. I should at least be given a refund for his first medication, a free lab, or half off of something, I would’ve settled for anything within reason. But it seems like they don’t really UNDERSTAND that my dogs skin condition has gotten worse after giving him the medication THEY Prescribed and after I have already paid a lab fee for them to examine his skin for the SAME skin condition.The whole point of me getting vital care was because of the convenience and the low cost, but it’s seems I’m not getting either.The only reason I give two stars because I do feel like the people there are amazing with my dog. I genuinely did not want to write this review because my puppy loves them, which made me like them but I feel taken advantage of as a first time dog owner. The fact that I have premier vital care and have to constantly to pay $100+ (literally close to $200 most times) never sits right with me, especially telling them this particular situation and they were not trying to work with me AT ALL when it came to his skin.

I don’t even know what to say because this suppose to be the so called Vetco clinic inside the petco but they have good reviews when u just put vetco on belt line but I agree with the lady about her dog all of a sudden having fleas cause how I’m not allowed to see my pet get checked for all I know they did something and gave him fleas and they upcharge for literally everything I don’t see how every trip to the vet I gotta come out 2-300$ ima new pet owner and it’s like they take advantage of people . Literally idk how people say they had a good experience bc they were all rude and get even ruder when u don’t wanna do add on or buy what they recommend. I still have not received paperwork for my pets visit with all his details they didn’t answer the phone all day maybe they knew it was me

The groomers left my 10lb Shih Tzu in the kennel for 3 1/2 hours before beginning to work on her!!!!! & then refused to finish her!!!!When I called at the nearly 4 hour mark, I asked how it was going & when she'll be done. as I wanted to buy her some treats & a baby & pay for her so she didn't have to wait much longer to go potty. The gal responded with "she just got done bathing her so it will be about another hour." I started crying. I calmly told the gal that I was so sad as my little Shih Tzu was not crate trained, she has anxiety as she's scared of everything (which thet knew.) & I don't understand how this happened for a 2nd time." The groomer responded with, "we've referred you out before so you can just come pick up your dog. The 1 time before about a year ago, it was the same scenario but they finished her but she wasn't in the kennel the entire time.This time she was in the kennel for 3 1/2 hours before the groomer ever pulled her out to work on her.Ive spoken with the store manager. The corporate customer relations dept twice & the district manager. All whom have taken Zero responsibilty & have actually made this about my reaction rather than what they did/didnt do to/for my little pooch. I was even lied to & so was corporate relations as the groomers told them that she was done.I will not stop until the CEO of Petco is msde aware & these people are gone. This cannot be acceptable! & if it is, then the public will be made aware & Petco should not be in the grooming nor customer service in any fashion.More will be revealed.

First time trying petco for grooming and it was well worth the try! Michael did a great job on both my babies, excellent hair cut exactly what I wanted. Eddie and Wolfie both look great. Will be returning for our next grooming visit!

Terrible horrible service on 3/31 came to get accessories for a fishy tank and to purchase some fish. So I came to Petco that’s I been coming for a long time with my dogs but it’s the first time I can’t I to get fish 🐠. First of all I called for help and this older man was like well there’s nobody over there but I try somebody for you so 10 minutes past this guy shows up asking you want to fish and I said yes I have a couple questions and I had questions because it was my first time getting fish and his response was well. You might want to google before you purchase a fish if you don’t know nothing about fish obviously I don’t know anything, but I came here because it’s a Petco and you guys supposed to help out and give an ideas or what do I need to get for a fish tank. I don’t wanna argue because I was having a good day so my response was like OK I will Google it and come back but trust me I’m not coming back for fish . All I got to say if you don’t like working a customer service places, don’t work find somewhere else to work at the warehouse you not gonna see anybody or help anybody 🙄

The professionalism and compassion that was given to my furbaby and me was impressive. When their was an issue with their water heater, I received a call to pick up Roman. When I arrived I was offered an explanation, apology and a courtesy booking to another petco. We will continue to go here. My baby looks amazing!

Took my dog to get groomed and now he has fleas and a rash on his back. Called to inform the groomer and they were defensive and had an attitude. They said it was impossible for him to get fleas at their salon. I just find it odd that my dog has never had a flea problem and right after taking him here he has fleas.

Went to go pick up cat food. There weren't available carts at the entrance, unfortunately. Fortunately, a big bag of cat food wasn't too heavy. Areas of improvement would be associates to greet or acknowledge, but we've crossed by at least 3 associates that didn't interact or ask if we needed any help. The front cashier was helping someone, but this customer, as they migrated towards to view a dog being groomed, the cashier ended up facing away from us. We patiently waited for about a 30 seconds before I cleared my throat. It was apparent then that the cashier didn't notice we were there, and there were another 2 customers behind us. We got taken care of promptly then, but the presence of care was a little lackluster on this visit.

This seems to be a popular place as there were quite a few people here when I arrived on Saturday afternoon. I thought it was kind of small and the selection limited. I was looking for a new toy for my dog and didn't find what I was looking for. Good location in Addison.

They did an embarrassing job on my dog.Because of the breed, I instructed them that they would need to blow him out, bathe him, the blow him out again, and brush him again.He's an Alaskan Klee Kai, basically a bite sized husky.He has a double coat that he is currently blowing out.They gave him a bath and gave him a force dry.He came out looking exactly the same as when I brought him in but bathed.As a former groomer and manager I would never let a dog leave my shop looking like this. It's embarrassing.This is Grooming 101.Just spent 20 mins brushing him out after paying 68 dollars.

Just moved to the area and wanted to see what my nearest Petco had. Lots of nice collars and toys I'll probably get for my cat. Walked out with some half off christmas toys which my cat loved.

Michael was fantastic with our new rescue, Obi. We got Obi from a farm in Kansas and due to his wooly coat, he was both dirty and matted. Michael was able to brush him and clean him confidently. As new parents to this wooly mammoth, he made us feel so much better about his coat and was able to coach us on next steps. Thank you Michael!

Great customer service and always willing to help or find the answer for you. I go there all the time because they are the only ones who have the Charlotte's Webb Hemp chews for my "Old Lady"! I use the hemp infused balm and it works so GREAT!!!!! I can tell when she is off it and it helps tremendously with her very bad Arthritis, with her being 15 yrs old in human years I definitely know her pain as I suffer the same. But hers is her left hip and mine is my right hip.

We really enjoyed our visit today. Shout out to Miranda!!! We have been getting fish for years but she enlightened for the first time. She inquired as to what fish tank size we had and how long has it been running. Well, we were like were gonna go home and fix it and put the fish in it. She explained it would be better to get the tank prepared first or the fish will just die. Wow, we have done it this way for years. My 12 yr old was not happy she didnt get fish today. I think the anticipation of getting their tank prepared for them, is exciting for her. Her last few tanks of fish died so she is excited to get them and keep them. Check out the blue lobster we observed on the way out. We ll come back to share images of the fish she got!!!

Horrible experience if i could give 0 starts i would. Went to buy over my cats food. Each bag is 70 plus tax..I need to get 3 bags which would have came out to be over $200 for all the food, but i noticed that all the food was expired since April. Acting manager was no help at all wanted me to wait 10 minutes on another associate to help me out. Needless to say I will not be giving my business to this store and probably chain.

Matthew at the grooming salon is AMAZING!! He is so gentle, loving, and patient with my dog. I have seen him interact with other pets and he treats every single one with care! Not only does he always greet us with a smile, but he goes out of his way to communicate with me every step of the way and gives a follow up after appointments. I recently moved out of Dallas, but I will continue to come to Matthew.

Previously worked for PETCO, at the Lovers Ln location and this place is nice. Love the set up, people are kind and helpful. We took our fur babies to the vet at this location and the staff was extremely kind to our babies. Our older cat had an accident on the way there and they were super nice to clean out the carrier for us and helped us clean up our cat Meatball. Definitely will return for their follow ups.
